I have never been to a spa that does not have a dedicated area for showering and many have a pool or different areas to relax before and after your services. Juniper spa has none of this. The check in area looks like a redecorated guest room. The office personnel's greeting and office area is what looks to be in a restructured closet with the bathroom right next to them. While some of us were waiting for our next service we sat outside on the guest room patio with no heater but were offered blankets. Also there is a small sauna for 2 people max by the community pool. It feels very awkward sitting by the pool in bathrobes while the hotel guests are swimming. There was also a shortage of robes and some of our group had to re-dress between services. With the prices tag that comes along with the treatments plus the gratuity automatically tacked on , Juniper Preserve needs to completely re vamp their spa experience if they are advertising themselves as a wellness destination. I would definitely look into other spas in the area as what is offered IS NOT worth the price tag. It felt very cheesy and all in our group agreed. 9/17/24
