Bistro Calamari with Marinara sauce
Brian B.

Stopped in for early Thursday lunch. Will was behind the bar and greeted me warmly. He was kind and attentive even though he had 3 or 4 tables and another guest at the bar. As always the calamari was tender and delicious with a crunchy coating. The Caesar salad was fantastic- fresh, crunchy, lightly dressed with hot thinly sliced marinated chicken generously piled on the salad. Croutons were seasoned well and toasty, if cut a bit too big for fork portioning with lettuce & chicken. Love the American classics from the 40s & 50s always giving that nostalgic track to fresh made food! Good ol vibe for Italian fam food.

And meat lovers with a shredded parmesan, they topped it off.

I tell you when I came into this place. I was absolutely shocked. It was cool and cute. A friend of mine was a little perturbed because he was seated outside, and we were the only one seated outside. And then we got that to bring us back inside. He was offended. However we received our Pizza and it was insanely good All right, I highly recommend this place as far as the food is concerned, it was great

This might just be our new frequent spot. There's something about the vibe of Oregano's. It's laid back, with a little flair. Thin crust pizza isn't something I typically go for, but they do it exceptionally well. I quite enjoyed the Clark Street Meat Pizza - really tasty sausage and the perfect amount of spice. I also don't typically order a starter, but the Guac-a-Tony was calling my name. An Italian twist on traditional guacamole - outstanding! I think guacamole needed basil all along! The cheesy crisps that go with it are the perfect chip replacement, and good on their own. Our service was great, the only thing I wish I had done differently was ordered a Bellini. I heard by word of mouth after our visit that they are quite delicious and really wish I had tried one! Next time!

Ughhh I'm back in town and we came back of course for the excellent food. Unfortunately the service lacked once again. I wish you guys could fix this issue! Like asap! No employee should just stand around and talk to each other. If you have 2 tables you should attend their every need. Don't ask me if I want another beer I'm after ready to get my check.

We came for hubby's free birthday cookie. We waited on the porch for 20 minutes after the host said it would take 5. I wasn't bothered until I realized that he sat 3 parties before us, who arrived after us. The parties were also parties of 2, so. He finally came out and said sorry about that 3 seconds then I'll come get you. 10 minutes later, still no service. We were about to leave when he finally came out. Our waitress was nice and quick. She gave water instead of tea but it wasn't a huge deal. Took a bit for the food to come out on a Sunday afternoon when there wasn't many people in the restaurant. We got wings and the guac a tony. Super disappointed that the Tony is smaller and still the same price. But the food was good! We got his cookie and then finished and left. Overall, food is good and service is decent.

So, I ordered a Heckuva Slice and have to say that it was delicious. Didn't think to take a Pic of it before I dove into it , but considering that every time I've come here I've never left unsatisfied? I'd say that it speaks for itself. The service was amazing and the ambience very nice. Very relaxing. Just enough attention from the server to make sure everything was good and that there were no problems and always made sure my drink was topped off. I also ordered the cannolies for desert, not something I typically do. The presentation is nice; looks just like their pictures. Very sweet. The crust was just crunchy enough to hold everything together, yet soft enough to easily bite through without trying too much. Has a bit of an overt cinnamon-sugar taste to it too. Very, very good. Also, a big shout out to William for an excellent experience and excellent service. Will most DEFINITELY be coming back here again in the future!

Service was great. They were friendly and remembered all we needed and asked for. The food was nothing to write home about. It was okay but nothing to say wow about. There was a good amount of people so I'm hoping something else would be better. We got the thin pizza and it was like a cracker. Nothing that made me want to eat it again. What I really liked was the cookie and ice cream. That was delicious and I'm picky on my desserts. The theme of the restaurant being vintage style is really nice. I like the atmosphere. Not my top choice of places to eat.

We visited here long long ago before kids. This time we stop by after church on Saturday night. Actually we called to asked if it is crowded and make a reservation if necessary. But the one who answered the call said that for 4 people it would be around 10mins, so no need to make a reservation. Ok, we went there the parking lots was almost full but it wasn't that crowded in the restaurant. We saw only 2 party in front of us and some empty tables. When we see the host, she said that for 4 people, currently around 25-30 mins. oh?! That was different... But we get there already so we dont want to make a big deal out of it and just waited. It was around 25mins until they called and give us the seat. The server was nice. They take our orders in pretty decent time. But we have to wait long time until the food finally came. The food is ok.

Nice bong

I love oreganos. It's about the food, tasty and generous operations. It's also about the drinks, large plastic tumblers for soda and such. You don't have to keep asking for refills, but you will t be ignited either. And it's about the actual place, cozy booths, nice bar with comfy high bar height seats plus a patio. I tried the chicken piccata and the Vino Bambino salad. Both were ordered on door dash, arrived hot and tasty with utensils and napkins. So many places are forgetting the little things. Loved it. I'll be back.

Amanda was a server and she was amazing! It was our first time here and she was so patient. It was cold outside, so the hostess was nice enough to let us sit at the bar until we got seated a a table. Very thoughtful staff and it made the food taste all the better! I would go again.

It is a great crust, not quite as good as Luna's was (RIP), IYKYK, their pies edged this place out in consistency and crust flavor with that special yeast. The pies are somewhat expensive, which is fine, but really the toppings are scant considering. And the aforementioned inconsistency, - slightly higher prices are fine , but they should be consistent. Make it feel worthwhile. The service is a joke, sometimes someone will greet you, sometimes maybe not. It used to be you could walk into a place, even 15 minutes before they closed, and order food. Not so much with this place( and it's a pizza place ?!!?)-which is odd because you'd think they want money. I digress. I've gone in, in the past, half hour before closed, and been told they were out of dough! Pizza place out of the main ingredient. Obviously bad meal prep, planning, mgmt, -however you want to plate it. -Now-, there's an ordering system online to , idk, 'help things be orderly ' , maybe. You can't even go on 50 minutes before they close and place an order. Now hear me out because I am about to sound a little crazy: you have to get the 18 inch Margherita with extra cheese and basil. I do not make the rules. Does the 18 inch somehow carry the majestic beauty and soul of the pizza 100 times better? Absolutely. I do not know what kind of black magic they are baking into the larger size, but boy does it hit the spot. Just a heads up, the place is as small as a Tic Tac, so I like to come during non-busy times to avoid the squeeze. The service can be hit or miss, but overall it is good and I think they just get slammed with phone orders. Truly my favorite Neapolitan spot ever. Absolutely Worth the Drive!…read more We were visiting from West Phoenix and decided to try Falora Pizza, and I'm so glad we did! This place is definitely worth the drive. It's a smaller restaurant, but it's beautiful inside and has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The music was lovely, and the whole place had a really nice vibe. We ordered the Margherita pizza, Bianca pizza, Gnocchi, Piastra zucchini noodles, two sodas, and a Prosecco. Everything we tried was so good! The pizza crust was one of my favorite parts. It was cooked perfectly and had that nice little crunch without being too hard. The Margherita was delicious, and the Bianca was just as good. The Piastra zucchini noodles with house-made pesto, heirloom cherry tomatoes and spinach were AMAZING! I'm honestly still thinking about them. The Gnocchi with shiitake mushrooms, vegetable broth and ginger glaze was also delicious and something a little different. We had four dishes, drinks and Prosecco, and our total was under $99, which I thought was a great price for everything we enjoyed. I also thought it was really cool that when you check out, there's an option to claim a neighborhood reward through Cash App that can be used with participating local businesses or toward coming back to Falora. I love seeing ways to support local businesses and the neighborhood. Overall, we had such a great experience. It was definitely a refreshing choice for this hot summer day. We also split a couple of pizzas: the marinara and the Margherita. Both of these were topped with fresh basil and the crust was perfect perfectly crispy. Like all woodfired pizza, it does have a little bit of a char to it, but I love that. Overall, the service here was great and I would definitely come back. It also looks like you can order pizza to go and take it to the cocktail lounge next door. There's plenty of parking here, but it does get packed on a Friday night. There's some outdoor seating but on a rainy night it can get pretty cramped inside.

We started with the ABG salad that surprised me because I'm usually not a big fan of Gorgonzola, but the combination of green apple, pecan brittle, and cheese worked really well together and made for a great balance of flavors. For the pizza, we ordered the mushroom pizza and added pepperoni. The sauce was excellent I believe was some sort of a garlic/oil white sauce the mushroom portion was generous which I absolutely love, and the crust was exactly what I look for crunchy on the outside while still soft and slightly sweet inside. My only minor complaint with the toppings is that the $4 pepperoni add on felt a bit light, we only had a 2 or 3 slices per piece. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our pizza was just slightly overcooked. The bottom was charred all the way around; wasn't burnt to the point of sending it back, but definitely left in the oven a minute or two longer than it needed to be. It wasn't busy when we visited, and it seemed like the employee rotating pizzas was a little more focused on chatting with FOH coworkers than keeping an eye on the oven. I've worked in pizza restaurants for nearly a decade, so I may be a bit more particular than most customers. Realistically, if our pizza had come out even a minute earlier, it would have been a 10/10 meal. That said, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. The quality is there, and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

The pasta was outstanding with intriguingly long and wavy noodles in a deliciously meaty marinara sauce. Their thin crust pizza was very good too, with "mini-cupped" pepperoni. The pickled peppers weren't noticeable though and had us yearning for the meatball ricotta pizza instead. We chose the coffee gelato for dessert. We arrived at Renee's with our boys on a 90+ degree Arizona day, hot, hungry, and excited to celebrate them after their first flag football game. Instead of sitting down to enjoy a meal, we were told that families with children are only allowed to dine on the patio. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned dining room was completely empty. Not "almost full." Empty. I understand that businesses are allowed to have their own policies, but expecting families with young children to sit outside in 90+ degree heat while an empty, air-conditioned dining room sits right there is certainly a choice. And not a particularly welcoming one. Apparently, celebrating your kids after their first flag football game meant sweating through dinner on the patio while an entire empty dining room sat comfortably indoors. With the temperature over 90 degrees, that was not a reasonable option for our family. Needless to say, we left. Tucson has plenty of wonderful restaurants where families can celebrate, cool off, and enjoy a meal indoors without being limited to the patio simply because they brought their children.
