OMG. Amazing Best breakfast food I have had in years…read more We were just traveling through and found this on Yelp.

The space has a few tables inside, they fill up quickly. Space to sit outside as well or order through the app for pickup. Something's changed, the Gravy tastes different to us. We haven't been in a year, so maybe it's tastebuds? It almost looks the same but something tastes different, but y'all be the judge. It tastes more like a cowboy gravy than a white sausage gravy. Getting more smoky flavor this time and it just isn't our favorite. We got the B&G which is, (1)Biscuit and Gravy that also comes with (3) eggs. We also got, The (Big for his Britches). It's the same thing but comes with all the meats! They call it an open faced sandwich. That thing was loaded with gravy, eggs, a few different meats like a sausage patty, bacon, and linguica. Only problem(s) are the flavor of the gravy. We didn't see the option for apple butter; just jam and honey butter. The meat was a little chewy but a positive, the biscuits were good. I do recommend people try them out. Everyone's taste buds are different, plus they aren't skimping on portion size, so that's a win. Plus they have a nice espresso machine and offer some cool-flavored coffees and regular delicious black coffee for the old-school people.

Harris Ranch Resort is a great overnight stop on a road trip. I've been here a few times now, but…read morethis was my first time staying in the triple king suite. I was a little disappointed to hear on the first floor and facing the street as it was kind of noisy, but it was a short stay. What I liked: -California King bed -Lots of extra seats - breakfast area with 2 chairs, a lazy boy and also desk chair -Robes (2nd time having robes in my room and always a great touch)! -Ironing board -Hair dryer -Mini Fridge & Microwave -Food and Drinks to purchase -TV -Complimentary Cookies + Tea/Coffee in the mornings -Friendly and helpful staff! What I disliked/needs improvement: -The vents in my room were terribly dusty to the point where I didn't even want to turn the air or heat on -Felt like the room had a lot of dusty areas -Would love to have a towel bar near the sink to hang a face towel for washing my face (replace the lotion with a towel bar) -The drinks for purchase we not even arranged well and I want clear they cost money at first glance (looked like they were left over) -Really outdated curtains and decor -I did not like the big side table next to the bed Overall though, Harris Ranch is a great place to stay. They have a great big pool, jacuzzi, plenty of restaurants and food options, heck, they even have a country store, bbq and gas station on site! What's not to love?

Unfortunately, the dining experience didn't quite live up to the prices. Service was a bit slow, although our server was friendly. The $5.95 cup of soup was probably the smallest serving I've ever encountered at that price. We both ordered the Caesar salad with flank steak ($30). The portion was generous, with fresh avocado, blue cheese crumbles and a zesty horseradish dressing. The steak appeared overcooked but was extremely tender, seemingly from mechanical tenderization. Worth a stop for the history, but the food was underwhelming for the price.

Man have I been missing out…read more Place was quiet when I arrived but boy did that burger hit a spot many other burger places don't seem to hit. The burgers they have here are not your generic ass burger they make everywhere else. It's one of those burgers you can't get a clean bite because of how big it is Location is quite far out from many big towns but once you've had it once, it makes you want to travel from far just to have it again. Burgers are expectedly pricey but you are paying for quality. Give the place some love if you haven't done so, this is one of those small spots that need the attention. I usually never make reviews but a burger like this deserves one.

Ryan Gates, (no relation to Bill as far as we know), enthusiastically greeted us as we entered. The thing that drew us to this establishment was the small signs along the 41 that read Badass Burgers this way! We were not disappointed. The 1855 Nebraska Beef they use made for one of the best hamburger experiences of my life. I shared one with my wife. They are humongous. That and the home made zucchini fries sold me solid. Richard our waiter is also the guitarist for the house country band on the weekends. If you are close to this berg do yourself a favor. Drive the few extra miles to Ryan Gates' The Country Hub.
