First time here and we had a great experience! Gel manicures and pedicures really lasted (day 9 already and no chipping). My friend and I brought our 3 daughters and this place does a kids mani/pedi for $35... best value I've found anywhere in the LKN area. I will be a repeat client here for sure! The one small complaint I had was that my pedicure water was cold. I'm sure that's an easy fix for next time. From what I gathered this is a walk-in salon for the most part, so show up and get a great service! Pro tip: head to one of Langtree's local restaurants after for lunch or dinner. I visited Orchid for the first time, today, and had a wonderful experience! I had a basic manicure (no polish), and a basic pedicure with polish. Joy was my nail technician, she was pleasant, gentle, professional, and expedient. I also had my eyebrows "cleaned-up" by a nice lady (whose name I forgot to ask), but she was also very pleasant, conversational, and professional. The establishment is clean, modern, crisp, inviting, and the prices are very reasonable. I arrived at 9:45, was out by 10:45 (for what I had done). This place is under new management and re opened! So nice inside, I'm talking brand new everything. Looks like a fancy spa. They were super nice and did a really good job. Prices are higher but I know it's because they do a good job and take their time compared to normal fast nail places. I do wish they would post their prices somewhere when you walk in so I knew before hand. Maybe they are working on getting that posted. Deff will be back! I needed a mani/pedi and had a very busy week so decided to try this salon as it was on my way home. I was assigned to a gal who was pleasant, but inexperienced in pedicures. My manicurist obviously knew what she was doing. After paying $95 for a gel mani/pedi, and then tipped them each so it came to $112, I was very disappointed when a week later my nail polish was peeling off!!! I have never in my life had gel polish peel off. I'm guessing they dilute their polish somehow. On a side note, The owner was not happy when I remarked how warm it was in the salon. She replied that "I always keep the temp at 72." Another client near me said she was warm too. The owner turned the temp down but kept commenting on it. read more

Very disappointed. I have been a customer for over two years. I know the protocol for making appts. I scheduled my appt over the phone for a pedicure and full set. I had to speak to 2 different individuals because the first employee did not know how to schedule appts. When I arrive for my appt. I was told that I could only get one service because she did not "hear" me say pedicure even though she repeated the services back to me. I am very disappointed in the customer service at this establishment. In the even that their is a miscommunication the business should attempt to make things right for the customer. I will not be going back to this nail salon. They should really consider using an online booking service so issues like these do not happen in the future. read more

Now I go in and the staff is ruder, they don't cut my cuticles, don't even soak or do anything to my nails besides my acrylic set when I asked multiple times to please clean up my nails because they were bad from work. Went here with a friend for two pedicures. I didn't even get to put one of my feet in the water before they immediately stated cutting and filing my nails. Both me and my friend were finished in 15 minutes not including painting. For 45 dollars (25 for pedicure extra 20 for gel) it was the least relaxing but most expensive pedicure I've had in years. read more

I got a pedicure and SNS manicure. They were friendly enough and the salon was clean. I had an appt for 2 pm and started my pedi about 2:15 nbd on the wait. I was 100% done with pedicure and SNS mani by 3pm!!! That is how fast they rushed both services. The pedicure she barely touched my legs/feet. It was less than 60 seconds spent between the scrub and lotion. Then for the mani she only did 2 layers of powder(I've never had less than 3) and left it all over my cuticles.(see pic) She never put lotion on my hands, never cleaned up my cuticles, and left the check sitting next to me and walked away. I could understand it if was a salon lunch time service. This unfortunately was not. Not the worst place I've been to but I'll be expiring other nail salons in the area before coming back. read more

The last 2 times I have been in to this salon I have had to wait over an hour in addition people that came in after me as a walk in were taken before me. They play favorites and are very rude.I called to see if they were busy in my 3rd attempt to go in and they said they were not busy but if someone came in before me I need to wait! They were rude and abrupt with me. I had them on speaker and my friends said wow how rude they are! I will never step foot in that salon again! And will tell everyone to avoid this place! Super bummed. I've never left a bad review anywhere. I read great reviews, so I decided to give Orchid a try. Went in for a pedicure and SNS manicure, and left disappointed. My pedicure was first, and it looked great. She started my nails, and I noticed they were super thick. I asked if we could make them thinner, and she said I needed 3 coats of SNS so it wasn't transparent, but she'd file them down. After filing them down, I still felt that they were really thick. I'm used to my SNS being thinner, so I wasn't loving them. I kindly asked if we could just take it off, after apologizing a million times. I'd never done something like that, but it's hard to justify paying $50 on nails you aren't happy with. She was extremely sweet, apologized, and went to talk to the owner. Owner came over and said she could fix them. She filed them down more, all while filing my skin, causing cuts and pain. I finally asked to just take it all off, because at this point I'd been there an hour and a half and my fingers were bleeding. I once again apologized and she just wouldn't respond? After they were done, I went to check out and the owner was super rude. She was kind enough to not charge me for the SNS, but the customer service from her was horrible. It's disappointing because the technicians were all extremely sweet and accommodating, and even after a less than great manicure I still would've given a good review because of how she handled it.
