I've tried many of the nail salons in the area and keep finding myself choosing QT Nails for a couple of reasons. I go in for a pedicure every two or three weeks and Linda always greets me by name as I walk in the door. Wait time, if any at all, tends to be no more than 10 minutes (I've waited over an hour in other salons before!) I nearly always have the same lady do my pedicures (not sure if that's by accident or design) and I've come to grow very fond of her. I like to be quiet and enjoy the experience and she's quiet as well. Pedicures here consist of feet soaking in the tub, polish removal, trim or file the nails, cuticle nips, pumice scrub followed by the light shaver and the first of three foot and leg massages this one with moisturizer. They use a delightful smelling sugar scrub next followed by a hot wax treatment for your feet. After removing the wax you get another leg and foot massage, and finally polish. If you get a manicure, Linda does it while you're getting your pedicure and somehow it always seems to work out that her arm massages happens at the same time as one of the leg massages and since I always have the chair massager on it's this trifecta of massage and it's heavenly. I watched a lady fall asleep in the middle of it during my last visit, it was that peaceful. A pedicure here lasts a good hour and costs $25 before tip. Well worth the time and money!! I got a plain manicure one day that I didn't feel like dealing with filing and cuticles and it was only $10, and Linda gives great hand and arm massages with it! I've gotten countless gel manicures here, some SNS manicures and tips now and again. You can also have a flower or design painted by hand for $5 per nail. There's no list of various pedicure options with upsell prices, there's only the one option and it includes all the options... I really like that. Was my go to every other week. But new owners changed everything around. Yes the place looks better by my mens manicure went from $15 to $23 with no notice. Made appointment like always but when I got there, Walla a new price. This is over a 40% increase. I have no problem with a 20% increase but 40% is too high. As soon as I find someone more reasonable I will move on. read more

I have done a gel mani and regular pedi as well as eye brow wax my first time about a month ago $70) and just had my second gel mani and regular pedi today ($55.) Cindy is phenomenal! I have not really been impressed with any other nail salons that do dip and she does a great job...her best skill is filing...she files with a hand file and makes my nails look great! They are not thick at all and they often last up to 3 weeks. read more

The people are really nice but this is the second time I've gone there and had a poor outcome. I got a dip powder set and my daughter got the same.... each with tips. Her nails are uneven in length and width and bumpy. Mine are slightly better but the tips were placed poorly so my nails now slant upwards like a ramp (you guys know what I mean... the duck bill problem, ugh). When I checked out they charged me $58 EACH claiming that it was extra because... wait for it... I did a round shape and my daughter did square. HUH? Who charges more for the nail shape?! And can someone tell me what mail shape doesn't illicit an extra charge?! What other options are there? Clearly they're just trying to up-charge as much as possible, and OF COURSE no one tells you that they plan to charge you more while they're performing the service. Sneaky and underhanded and not even a great manicure. Won't be trying this place again. read more

Loved our experience here! Walked in with no appointments at 5pm. My son and I got mani/ pedis- the full works with wax and scrubs. It was a great experience. Jenny took us right back to do our feet and Helen did our hands. Great care was taken with any concerns I had about some sore spots on my toe from a cut from a different salon. Everyone talked to us. My son loved the colors they put on his nails and toes!! We will be back. We have been searching for a salon for at least a year. We've tried at least six. None compare to this nail salon!! I went to this nail saloon on August 28th, with my bridesmaids, my mom, and my aunts. We made an appointment over a week in advance to make sure they were aware that eight people would all be coming in at once. They said that they would be able to accommodate us. However, they could not accommodate us, and no one in our group got a proper manicure or pedicure. For my pedicure, I was hastily shoved into a seat, told to put my feet in the water. Not even five minutes later I was told to take my feet out of the water, a lady then removed my old nail polish and walked away to jump over to one of my bridesmaids pedicure stations. About ten minutes later a different saloon worked came over and clipped my toe nails and then she too left me to hop over to someone else's pedicure tub. More time passes and then yet another women comes to me and hastily sticks my feet in hot wax without even telling me what she was doing. I was left yet again and then the first woman came back and removed to wax before leaving me yet again. Then yet another woman came up and gave me a small foot rub, she spoke no English, but she was probably the employee with the best customer service skills. At that point I had been in the pedicure chair for 30 minutes and it occurred to me that they had to intention or scrubbing my feet or any of the basic parts of a pedicure. So I had to go against my non confrontational nature and had to loudly ask if I was ever to get a real pedicure. ( I would like to make it clear that I work on my feet in a kitchen, going in and out of an oven and freezer the whole entire I am at work.. I do not get pedicures very often because my feet take a beating at work, so when I have a real reason to get one, I cherish them.) At that point the second lady who had helped me came over and actually scrubbed my feet( never touched my cuticles). After she finally painted my nails I kept having to get help to clean up the cutting of my toes to get rid of all the sharp points that had been left. Throughout the whole process of the pedicure it was very clear that the whole entire staff was talking horribly about our whole party. I understand customers are frustrating, but if you feel the need to complain about them, do not constantly point at them. During my manicure, my sister who is a cosmetologist, had to stand over my shoulder and babysit the lady as she just painted my nails. Her parting gift to me was pouring oil all over my forearms, barely rubbing any in or off.and then trying to push me out the door.. We were all charged for full pedicures and full manicures, not one person in our group received a real manicure or pedicure. However, at least my feet touched water, they painted my mothers toes while she was in a manicure chair and claimed she got a pedicure. Needless to say I would highly recommend not going to this nail saloon if you would actually like to get your moneys worth. read more

Not impressed. I'm new to the area from South Florida and normally would get a pedicure once a month. Since moving I've had a hard time finding a decent nail salon in the area. I am incredibly busy and don't have time to even have my hair done at a salon, so getting a pedicure for me is the only time I have to relax. I walked into QT and was seated right away, but that's about where the niceties ended. My technician ran between me and another client. She rushed through the entire process and seemed annoyed at having to do my pedicure. I was then seated in the drying area (where I was the only one using one of 4 dryers). I was relaxing and only about 10 minutes later, one of the employees runs over and shuts of my dryer and tells me it's time to leave. In my 20 yrs getting pedicures I've never once been rushed off a dryer. I can understand if others were waiting, but no one was waiting for my dryer. So, so disappointed. read more

Our absolute favorite place to get pedicures. I'm a big believer in taking proper care of your feet and this place offers the best bang for your buck. Having tried pedis and many places in the Mooresville area, QT is far and away the best. Their staff is very sweet and my pedicures consistently last over an hour, thanks to a lengthy massage. read more
