The Absolute Best in Town!…read more I have been coming to Starz Nail & Spa since the day they opened, but my loyalty to Wendy goes back even further, I've been a faithful client of hers since 2017. If you are looking for a salon that combines high end skill with a genuine "good vibes" atmosphere, this is it. Starz has truly become a second home for me. I am so grateful for the amazing customer service and the genuine friendships I've built with Wendy and all the girls there over the years. It's more than just an appointment; it's a place where I feel welcomed and cared for. Wendy is a master of her craft. Whether it's a full set or a pedicure, she is the only person I trust to get it right every single time. She knows exactly how I like my nail shapes and is the only one who truly understands my preferred toe nail length. The nail prep and retention here are on another level. Their work is so high quality that I only need to go once a month... honestly, I've even gone two months between appointments and my nails, polish, and even the gems are still perfectly intact! Wendy has curated an incredible team that brings even my wildest ideas to life. I especially love the way Wendy and Jennifer have collaborated to ensure my nails are a work of art. They have teamed up on two of my favorite custom sets: The NYC & Yankees Baseball set: A deadass home run! Everyone LOVED! The Dominican & Puerto Rican set: A beautiful tribute to my heritage and all the amazing things that remind me of my cultures. When I can't get in with Wendy, I know I'm in amazing hands with Ashley or Jennifer for my long, detailed sets. They are true artists. For shorter lengths or more delicate, simple designs, Marie and Dayelis also do incredible, high quality work. The talent in this building is unmatched. I love being able to support a small, Latina-owned business, especially one owned by a hardworking Dominican woman who pours so much heart into their work and clients. If you want amazing nails and a team that treats you like family, go see Wendy and her girls at Starz Nail & Spa!

Also this thing always autoINcorrects everything haha I totally just invented that word do not steal it, that's my one non-arrested development allusion. Fuck I am not funny. Anyway, on to the review! Things I like about this place: vibrating chairs,, it's clean, not too pricey blah blah blah who gives a shit. Things I don't like: the chick doing my nails gave me the hard sell for a gel manicure, which means I will practically have to sand my finger nails off to get this type of polish off, which can be a good thing because it lasts hella long. I got a French manicure (because I am classy as fuck) but I am not crazy about it (too much white at the tips, also she rounded my nails too much which make my hands look less like sexy hand model hands and more like big dumb polar bear paws). So I'm kind of stuck with it for while. Oh in the things I like paragraph I forgot to mention that the chick doing my nails and some other guy who worked there were both singing or humming along to the songs that came over the radio, which was kind of fun and not nearly as hella annoying as it sounds. Fave moment was when a commercial for some michael jackson related cirque du soleil coming to town came on the radio, the chick doing my nails said, "oh Michael Jackson is coming to town, how nice" and I didn't have the heart to tell her that he is dead.

They are not friendly at all and when you try to be friendly and talk to them they give you a strange look and ignore you. I'm pretty sure the older couple in there are the owners and they are the worst. Tell your customers thank you and have a good day and you might get more business. I'm giving them 3 stars because their work isn't bad, just the attitude. I am used to going to NC nails across from Lowes hardware in Mooresville. There, they are kind and remember your name and even offer you any drink of your choice. Check these guys out for their $20 spa pedicure, it's pretty good. That's all!
