I have to keep this short because I'm writing on an iPad and it would take me a week to write a normal Lauren s review. Also this thing always autoINcorrects everything haha I totally just invented that word do not steal it, that's my one non-arrested development allusion. Fuck I am not funny. Anyway, on to the review! Things I like about this place: vibrating chairs,, it's clean, not too pricey blah blah blah who gives a shit. Things I don't like: the chick doing my nails gave me the hard sell for a gel manicure, which means I will practically have to sand my finger nails off to get this type of polish off, which can be a good thing because it lasts hella long. I got a French manicure (because I am classy as fuck) but I am not crazy about it (too much white at the tips, also she rounded my nails too much which make my hands look less like sexy hand model hands and more like big dumb polar bear paws). So I'm kind of stuck with it for while. Oh in the things I like paragraph I forgot to mention that the chick doing my nails and some other guy who worked there were both singing or humming along to the songs that came over the radio, which was kind of fun and not nearly as hella annoying as it sounds. Fave moment was when a commercial for some michael jackson related cirque du soleil coming to town came on the radio, the chick doing my nails said, "oh Michael Jackson is coming to town, how nice" and I didn't have the heart to tell her that he is dead. read more

Solar Nails - These things vibrate, ladies. - Nail Salons Near Me - Mooresville, North Carolina

They usually have decent prices and they do a pretty good pedicure. Really, that is the only reason I go there. They are not friendly at all and when you try to be friendly and talk to them they give you a strange look and ignore you. I'm pretty sure the older couple in there are the owners and they are the worst. Tell your customers thank you and have a good day and you might get more business. I'm giving them 3 stars because their work isn't bad, just the attitude. I am used to going to NC nails across from Lowes hardware in Mooresville. There, they are kind and remember your name and even offer you any drink of your choice. Check these guys out for their $20 spa pedicure, it's pretty good. That's all! read more

I called before I drove there to get pricing. For a mani with gel polish $28 which is a great deal! I got there right in time. Hyait did such an amazing job and we talked the whole time. She is the best and was very detailed on my nails. I couldn't be happier. You must try this place the ladies there are super sweet. read more

Solar Nails is my favorite salon! I've been coming here for over 5 years. I've never gone to another salon. They take their time and make sure your nails are perfect. If you mess up the polish or it chips you can come back in and they will redo it for free. They are so friendly and knowledgeable of trendy colors and styles. Penny is so nice and she does the best nails! I have included some photos of my past colors, a few not included are french manicure ombré and yellow and glitter acrylic which were my favorites. If you're looking for a cheap and but expensive looking nails this is the perfect place! read more

This is the first one I've been to in Mooresville and it didn't disappoint. My husband and I walked in at about 10 AM and only one customer was there and they got us right away. My husband was getting a pedicure and I was getting a manicure. They got both of us seated and ready to go. I think the guy's name was Ben that did my manicure. He was really nice and did a great job. Penny did my husband's pedicure and she did amazing job, i mean AMAZING! She turned his feet into beautiful feet. She was really nice too. The massage chairs were definitely not the newest but my husband loved the massage feature and took advantage. It was a good experience and would be coming back again. read more

Solar Nails - B did an amazing job on my nails! Only $25 for acrylics, and really time efficient. My first time here and had a great experience - Nail Salons Near Me - Mooresville, North Carolina

I got Julie to do my pedicure and she did a good job. I payed $20 for my pedi. I would have loved her to dig deeper for the in grown toe nails but overall she did a good job. She didn't do her best applying the nail polish but what can I say? This is the first nail shop I come to since I moved here to NC. I will try a couple of other shops and see which one I like best. read more

went here on saturday for an appointment and it was honestly the best nail experience i've ever had! i got an acrylic full set and ms. lin took care of me. normally when techs shave my nails done they are rough and nick my cuticles but she was so gentle! she even helped me pick my nail color after realizing the one i wanted was out and it's absolutely beautiful! she didn't mind when i asked her to fix a nail, she even encouraged it. she gave me the PERFECT shape, overall this was the best experience i've ever had. AMAZING customer service everyone should check this place out and if you want a full set ask for ms. lin! (i messed up the polish on my index finger which you can see in the second picture very clearly) read more

They took their time and made sure my nails looked great. I've been to other salons where they rush you if they're busy. They don't do this here. I love my nails! My new favorite salon! read more

I love this place! I never make appointments and they always accommodate me! Sometimes I have to wait a while but I'm okay with that considering I do t make appointments! They take there time I always come here for a pedicure and eyebrows. Every time I have gone somewhere else I regret not choosing here. A basic pedicure is $25 which is pretty much the same anywhere. Hayit (she said it's pronounced like the hotel lol) did my pedicure and was amazing! Ask for her! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! My boyfriend's parents live about 5 minutes away from this place and whenever I come down to visit them with him, it's become a ritual that his mom and I get our manis and pedis done here. It's in a great location first off -- a few doors down from the Starbucks and Style Exchange, and the employees are so friendly. I've seen Titi the 2 times that I've been there so far and I think Sarah has worked with my boyfriend's mom. I was able to have a light conversation with both of them when I went there about 2 weeks ago and they are both super sweet! The man who I assume works there is JUST as nice. We've had pedicures done there twice and the girls do such a great job with taking their time and being gentle. Our pedicures lasted well over 2 weeks... I'm going into week 2 of my pedicure and the color hasn't chipped or budged at all - even with me scrunching my toes in heels Mon.-Fri. for work. I also got a french shellac manicure done 2 weeks ago and even though they're growing out... they still look really really good and haven't chipped at all, and trust me - I'm pretty rough with my nails! Coming from living in Northern VA... the quality and price here don't even compare to the quality and service I get down in Mooresville. Titi made the white tips on my manicure and pedicure (before) perfect -- you know what I mean.. she didn't make half my nail white like most people do. In summary, I've made a promise to myself to only get my nails done here.. so it looks like I'll be making monthly visits down to Mooresville just to get my nails done :) read more

I am giving a 5 because I love the nail tech Titi. She is BEST!!!!!! The nail salon is decorated just ok. They don't have a good selection of colors either. If you want the best manicure and pedicure ever go see Titi. She takes her time and gives a great massage. Every time to go somewhere else(when's she's too busy) I compare everyone to her. You won't be disappointed. read more

Had SNS nails done. Friendly staff and clean. Not bad prices. Will return. They are moving to new location

Best place I've been for nail care! Talented, nice techs techs. I wish I still lived in the area!

We walked on the spur of the moment, and less than an hour before closing and were met with smiling faces and "SURE, there is time for pedicure." The space was neat and clean and our techs were very friendly. They did not Hard Sell the services and we picked our session with no hassles. The techs were not chatty or nosy and the tv on the wall was NOT on some sports channel. (YAY!) Our session went until a few minutes after closing time and the techs did NOT rush us out with wet nails or any grumbling. I will be back. read more

I got my fiancé a pedicure for her first Mother's Day here. The gentleman that did her nails came out and asked- after NO discussion of our 4 month old baby,- "how far along are you?" She told him, "I'm not pregnant." He proceeded to ask her 2 other times throughout the pedicure when she was due and her due date. Needless to say, she was pretty upset after having to tell him EACH time that she was not pregnant. She is not big either. This was supposed to be a relaxing visit, and instead she left way more stressed out than when she went in. I went back up there to tell them they shouldn't comment on a woman's body like that and they just didn't seem to understand what was wrong about that. You've been warned. read more

I am from out of town and went to Solar Nails this afternoon. I didn't ask the gentleman's name who took care of me, but he did an excellent job on my French gel manicure. When you are traveling, you never know what you're going to get when you walk into a new place which always makes me a little anxious, but this nail salon was great. I love it when I make the right decision based on other people's reviews! read more

Horrible service... Ignored the entire time, I waited for 45 minutes just to get eye brows waxed. This has happened numerous times. Will not return read more

After sitting in a chair for a pedicure for over 20 minutes with one of my girlfriends (oh and her jets didn't work) my water was cold and i saw no sign of anyone finishing soon so I asked the technician doing a pedicure beside me if she knew about how long it would be bf we would be taken care of... i only had about an hour and a half bf i needed to pick my son up from the bus. She was very polite and said she didn't know. I told her i was time restricted so she looked around to the others techs asking about how long until someone could get to us. A very mean a rude lady responded "We be there Soon!" I should have left right then but i knew my friend really wanted hers done so i simple restated about how long, i just need a timeframe at this point. once again rude lady... "Soon!" ......... After 15 minutes, one tech came over to my friend and I and asked who wanted to go first. I said my friend bc A) she wanted more than the basic so she needed more time B) getting hers done was more important to than mine. I normally do my own. Now I know why! even though my tech was very nicee, the job was the worst I've ever had done. I had to ask them to be filed more repeatedly, they still aren't rounded off at all and very diagonal! in the middle of painting the first foot, the polish ran out! AWESOME!!!!! she finds another bottle after i let her know i saw a few more of that shade on the turntable of polishes. she still is very nice but by the time she gets to coat 2, lawd and behold I'm out of time! Even after i asked, told, and made very clear after the long wait this could happen. So I left without the topcoat. My choice, but not really. And the 2 coats on my toes are uneven, look like shit, and all over my skin. I'd ask for my money back but i really don't want to go back there for ANYTHING!!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! read more

Seriously the best nail place I have been to. I have been to about every nail salon in mooresville and all have good and bads, but at solar nails they are amazing! They're prices are great! They take their time to really do the job right unlike other nail salons that rush. One of the male pedicurist literally gave me the best pedicure ever. I got a great full set also! They let you relax and do their best to make sure you're happy! Definitely try them! They're the BEST in mooresville read more

Worth your valuable time! I was taken in immediately. They said Thursday at 4:30pm was a great time to come. Very relaxing. I asked if I could use my own nail polish and my technician didn't hesitate to accommodate. She even said Ooh what a pretty color. I haven't had a pedicure in a long time but this was very enjoyable and my feet look amazing. Clean and friendly and a great value. read more
