Please do not let Shelia do your nails. I received a pedicure and a powder manicure. On the…read morepedicure Shelia filed my little toe to the quick and it was bleeding. She said it needed to be smoothed out. Then she put the polish all over my toes and cuticals. Shelia's hands were shaking and this caused me to have very uneven polish. For the powder manicure, it came out thick, gloopy with some nails smooth and some rough. It was all over my cuticals and when I questioned this Shelia said it would peel off overnight and be perfect the next day. I had never had this procedure and thought I would wait until next day to see. It did not get better, so I call and went back to have them removed. Shelia admitted my toe nails did not look right and she redid the polish. It did not look better, but still not a good pedicure. She also took off the powder material. Shelia admitted that she had only been doing this for a short time and that was the problem. She is still learning. I wish she had told me this before I had my nails done? PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW HER TO DO YOUR NAILS. SHE WILL HURT YOU AND THE END RESULT IS TERRIBLE!!!

The spa experience at Salon Etc is INCREDIBLE, from the design details to the amazing and talented ladies that make the salon a beautiful place to visit. I'm now an Asheville local, but every time I travel to Charlotte I always come to for a manicure and pedicure. She's done my nails for close to 10 years now. She is clean, hygienic, and accommodates skin sensitivities by using organic products specifically for me. She has 29 years of professional experience, and it shows. I always do SNS dip on my nails and they only have two techs that can do it well. I've been on days that these two techs were not there and every time the nail tech messed up my nails by forgetting the priming coat, not buffing my nails, or something.
