I have heard that happens so hopefully my honest review can help others fairly evaluate this business. Since my last review in 2022, I have gotten 4 implants at Pebble Beach Dental. All the work to achieve this was completed by Dr. Erickson. I am a private pay customer, and I have appreciated the payment option provided by Pebble Beach Dental. I just returned home from my bi-annual cleaning, and my oral health is good and stable. I have had bridges removed as the anchor teeth failed and after a time of healing two implants on either side of mouth have been placed. The ability to eat and chew without pain has vastly improved my quality of life. I am really surprised by the negative statement made about the office manager, Stephanie. We have met and spoken both casually and around business over the last 4 years and never have I experienced anything remotely as is being said in these reviews. She is neither petty, dismissive or unprofessional to me nor have I seen her be that with other patients. One would think that if that were her behavior, I would have experienced it as well in this length of time. Something I believe strongly is that no one can make me feel anything. Depending on my perspective and my own state of mind is how I will receive and reaction to any given situation. Please do not these negative reviews prevent you from seeking care at this business as it is at the top of the scale in terms of ability, character, and quality.

That is a lot of work to have done all at once and the time just flew by! I am 71 years old and have had problems with my teeth since I was a child. I have had a lot of dental work done by several different dentist and never have I ever had such a good experience as I did with Dr. Obregon. The way he works is completely different than any other dentist I've been treated by. He is know for his chair side manner and I'm dead serious when I say he is the best! I was comfortable, relaxed and I had no pain. He kept checking with me from time to time to make sure I was alright as he worked. He talked about things having nothing to do with dentistry and he was interesting and entertaining. Samantha was also kind and comforting. She answered all my questions about how to care for my mouth after having an extraction. I got to see Alyssa again and that was a pleasure. Elizabeth works the front desk and she helped me with the financing I needed. I told her I was in shock after having such a wonderful experience while having dental work. I asked her to help me find my car if I was still out there wondering around the parking lot in shock when she was leaving work to go home. We laughed! I was quoted $15,500 for upper veneers and was specifically promised accommodations to make the procedure manageable for me, including medication the night before, additional medication at the office, and laughing gas before any injections. The morning of my appointment, after mentally preparing myself and following through with the plan we discussed, I was informed they were out of laughing gas and had no idea when it would be available. For a patient with serious dental anxiety, this was not a small inconvenience -- it was the entire reason I felt comfortable moving forward in the first place. Because the agreed-upon accommodations were no longer available, I had no choice but to cancel the procedure. While I did receive a refund, the way the situation was handled afterward felt dismissive and unprofessional. For a practice charging premium cosmetic dentistry prices, I expected far better communication, preparation, and compassion toward a patient placing that much trust in them. If you struggle with dental anxiety, I would strongly recommend confirming every promised accommodation beforehand and considering whether this office is equipped to properly support fearful patients
