This review is long overdue. I've been coming here for years! Having been scarred by inept, scamming dentists in the past, I had trust issues when it came to dental care. Dr. Sarchisian provides the best advice and treatments hands down. The dental hygienist is thorough, gentle and got me to start using a waterpik! During the pandemic, he made sure that the rooms were extra filtered, everyone wore masks and lots of extra steps for hygiene took place. I never felt endangered at all. While I'm no stranger to dental work (I have some implants, for example,) I still get very nervous when I need work. So, when I moved to the area a year and a half ago, I was worried about finding a new dentist. So far, besides the typical exams, I've had some fillings and cleanings here. Everyone has treated me with kindness and understanding of how nerve-inducing dental work can be. I'm happy with the care I've received from Dr. Sarchisian. He takes his time to ensure a good outcome. He also listens to my concerns and provides helpful feedback. Diana, who recently provided a partial deep cleaning, is great, as well. You can tell that she is very quality-focused. She also displays a lot of compassion toward patients. I'm the front office, I'm always greeted with friendly smiles. Everyone takes the time to explain the services that are being provided, as well as the insurance and billing. They are great to work with. There are experiences that deserve more than 5 stars and Dr. Adrian, Victoria, and Rachel are that excellent. I had been putting off getting a crown after my filling fell off because in researching all of the dentists around that take my dental plan, almost all got reviews saying they treat patients on my plan differently. I am on Kaiser Medicare Advantage in Sacramento County and I even looked in Granite Bay and Folsom. I finally got to Carmichael and made the appointment here because the reviews were good. I was amazed that they all met me exactly where I was. Dr. Adrian asked me what I wanted and he was compassionate and calm. The treatment plan was great and I trusted the team. Rachel explained the billing to me and I felt it was reasonable and I understood it all. When they measured for the crown they did it digitally, a new technology I had never experienced before! The cleaning and the work to get me a crown was painless and quick. The temporary crown was actually perfect! There is such attention to detail on what's important to the patient! When I came back for my crown placement I was amazed again! The crown was perfect without having to grind it down at all! Dr. Adrian is very calm and modest and his team love their jobs and as a senior citizen who was worried about all of the inevitable work I will need as I age, I am very appreciative. My dentist retired. He was an excellent dentist, however he would not use Nitrous oxide. I persevered. It was not easy. I had planned to find a new dentist but kept putting it off. I also kept putting off appointments such that the work piled up He sold the practice to another dentist who also would not use the Nitrous and so I decided to finally get off my butt and find a new dentist who would use it. Why do I need it? The bottom line is that I'm about the worst dental patient you can imagine. I go beyond dental anxiety... I'm into dental phobia! A friend recommended Dr. Sarchisian so I decided to make an appointment and try him out for one of the 4 crowns that I knew I needed. Dr. Sarchisian examined me said I had a situation that was really bad... there was decay under an old crown and it had to be fixed ASAP or lose the tooth... I'd need to have the crown removed, have some surgery to retract the gum to extend the tooth and a new crown put on. BUT... he said that I could have the Nitrous and that I'd be just fine. So I said "What the h***, we'll do it." On the day of the appointment I walked in to his office like a zombie, totally terrified. They hooked up the gas and I didn't get 'high' but it relaxed me such that all the anxiety and fear went away. The surgeon, a Dr. Javdan, was terrific. If you need periodontal work, this is the doc you want. Then Dr. Sarchisian came in and did his part. I didn't feel a thing. I walked out with a temporary crown and a script for Motrin (which I filled but didn't need.) I had to wait a month for the gum to heal before that crown could be put on but there were three others to do plus a large filling to be replaced. So over this summer I had all the work done and each visit was actually a pleasure. Honestly. The staff knew I was a dental basket-case... and were so friendly and accommodating and understanding. Dr. Sarchisian is a master of the dental craft. He is really, really good. A couple of crowns came back from the lab not fitting as well as he required so he fixed them. He said he used to work in a lab making crowns before he got his dental license. You know how with many dentists who rush you through and you get a crown put on and it does not fit right and you have to come back for an adjustment? Well, NOT here. Dr. Sarchisian works on them until they are perfect no matter how long it takes (like through his lunch break.) He said himself that he was not letting me out of the chair until the crown fit perfectly. I did not have to come back for any of the crowns. Look. There are lots and lots of dentists out there and I'm sure lots and lots of them are good. But take it from a dental zombie that this dentist is the 'top gun' of dentists in this area. I've been to a lot of dentists in the 40 years I've been here and this is "the guy." This is where you want to go. You won't be disappointed in the interaction with the staff, the wonderful hygienist, and of course Dr. Sarchisian himself. read more

I hate going to the dentist but I understand how important it is. I am very fortunate to have found a good dentist that accepts my dental insurance. I appreciate the preliminary sit down and going over my treatment with no hidden charges anywhere. I also appreciate the adaptability of Dr Sarchisian and his staff. I was able to pick and choose whatever I wanted to do in the offered treatment plan. For me to get any treatments done, I need to take a day off from work so I like to pack in as much as I can in one appointment. Dr Sarchisian was kind enough to do a deep cleaning and multiple fillings in one day for my convenience. Another thing I'd like to add is the thoroughness of Dr Sarchisian. He will take the time to do things right. One of my fillings was not as expected and he whipped out his tools and did it again. He doesn't cut corners and I respect and appreciate that. Story time: I had a hell of a week going, got my dates confused and missed a filling appointment. Next day, went in for a separate filling. I told my story of woe to the doc (essentially apologising) and he, without my asking, checked his schedule, and right away did the additional filling that I had previously missed. I left the office caught up on my dental work with no extra fees to speak of. I kinda consider this common courtesy and would like to think I'd do the same, but no way would I assume that courtesy of other dental staff I've had in the past. I am so very thankful my mom referred me to this office! I was a new first time patient and told the office I have a really tight schedule, it's hard for me to get off work and I would love to get all my fillings done in one day. (I had 3) I called the office and told them my situation, gave them my insurance information and they were very knowledgeable. The office staff is the sweetest! She is very kind, patient and precise. At the time of my appointment, I arrived and it is a very beautiful office. They did full xrays of my mouth and saw my three cavities. The doctor was more than happy to fill all of my fillings for me that day. He numbed me and wow must I say it was the smoothest process ever! It appears Dr. Sarchisian is only interested in Yes Men and Yes Women - people who just simply accept his treatment plan without question. He looked in my mouth. Decay. "Schedule this patient for a crown - to his hygienist." He was not courteous enough to ask me if I was interested in a crown. I wasn't. I think he already knew that from my file - I had refused the crown on a previous occasion. Decay is caused by Lactic Acid etching away at enamel and dentin. This tooth was filled with a composite material in 2011. There is a hairline crack around the filling and a small chipped edge/lip - probably chipped during a tooth cleaning - whoops! (patient was never informed of the chip). This tooth has never been painful. If he crowns it and the crown fails ( I have had several fail ) he will want to cut it down ever more - and if THAT NEWEST crown fails - well, sorry, it has to be pulled . . . Since that tooth was filled , I have made tremendous changes in my level of decay prevention. I recommend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lGPLA-WgRg&t=10s from UCTV. I sip tea all day long. I have now added Baking Soda to my tea to neutralize any acid. Every day I brush and floss with Listerine - waterpik with mouthwash at least 1000ml of water. Rinse with CloSys for 60 seconds. Brush with Crest Regular Paste for 2 minutes with Sonicare toothbrush. And rinse thoroughly - for 90 seconds with ACT. I then wait the requisite 30 minutes before having food or drink. He gave me my walking papers saying that he no longer accepts my insurance - good try. I know when I am not wanted or liked. read more

I love coming to this office! Dr. Adrian Sarchisian is an amazing dentist. He is very gentle and thorough and Stephanie at the front desk is amazing with the insurance and breaks everything down for you- thank god as its hard to tell what they pay for and don't. This office also has the newest equipment and can show you pictures of inside your mouth instantly. I thought it was pretty cool especially since now i know where to brush better! Dr. Adrian Sarchisian goes over everything with you on your first appointment and shows you on your xray so you can understand better since those dental terms can be quite confusing! After the exam i got my cleaning which felt amazing after. Everything was done so gently and the assistants would always check up on me if i needed some water or if i was doing ok.
