The best storage unit rental experience I have ever had. The staff is helpful and understanding. The units are well taken care of and easily accessible. They were also super understanding when I ended my lease a little past the deadline because I had been out of the country! Good storage place. Accommodating on payments. I get paid on the fifth and they allow me to pay it that date and not the first like most other places. Good storage size going rates in the area. Con they ask for others not to eat or smoke in the area but the few times I have gone it's always the same people there still doing it. Hoping they get a little stricter. I'm updating this to be fair. If 2 stars means "Meh. I've experienced better" then I have, meaning I've never had my stuff destroyed like this before. Still reeling from what happened but I'm happy to report that the staff at Orangecrest and the underwriters for the insurance have offered me a fair price settlement to my claim for the damage we had to deal with. I'm waiting for the check , they say about two weeks. As long as everything goes OK, I'll update again to a few stars since they're not being terrible to work with. I appreciate their efforts and will say that until our stuff got raided by vermin rodents psycho critters, we had no issues here. The staff was always very nice and the property was always clean when we were visiting and making our drop-off and pick-ups. read more

This place is a complete ripoff. They charge way too much, do not return calls and the staff is pretty rude. Not to mention that they are trying to charge me for a months rent even tho my stuff was out of the unit before the tenth day. Received a letter in the mail about the payment so i called the office to speak with the manager but i was told he wasnt in at the moment and that they would leave a note for him to call me back. That call never cane and i have called a few times after that. Still Have not received a call back. Also dont get locked in after their rediculous gate hours are over because they will try and charge you nearly $100 to let you out the gate. read more

I have been in three times. The first two I worked with Angelica and Maggie. Both extremely helpful, thorough and simply great to work with. The third time was rental days and I worked with Eric, the manager. Not as attractive as the ladies but equally capable. We moved into a 10X10 this past weekend and the whole process, cost and the unit itself have be great. Roughly, $60 a month for the first two, Feb is prorated, in May it goes to $120 w/the $20 insurance versus the required $12 plan. (Maggie convinced us to spend the $8) Very happy with the whole process. read more

Orangecrest Self Storage has been nothing short of perfect for my family's storage needs. My wife called from the U-Haul truck somewhere on I20, as we moved across country from Texas back home to Riverside. We needed a climate controlled storage for our items, and although at the time Orangecrest Self Storage only had a couple of smaller units available, the price was right, and the property manager, Eric Standing, was very pleasant as we spoke. It wasn't enough for all of our stuff, but it helped with the items that had to be climate controlled, while the rest would have to go to another place. Just in passing I told Eric if a larger unit ever came up to "remember us," because it would be more convenient to have the stuff together. Just a few weeks later the phone rang and it was Eric, saying he'd remembered the comment and he had a larger unit coming up if we still wanted it. The larger unit allowed us to move most all of our stuff into a single unit that didn't accumulate dust, and made it easy to come and go as was needed. Between the price and the excellent service, Orangecrest is the only home for our "stuff," when our stuff can't be at home. Thank you, Eric! read more

I would not recommend using this facility. I was there for less than 2 years and they raised the rent by $10 3 times over less than 2 years. I submitted my 30 day notice on May 27th and today, July 6th received a late bill notice. I called to ask about it and apparently because the lock was left on the unit I'm going to be charged for another month even though no one ever told me the lock needed to be removed. All they told me was that I needed to come in or email them a 30 day notice letter. And of course since it's after the 5th, they can no longer prorate it but I have to pay the full months rent. Do yourself a favor and find a better manager storage company with more reasonable rates. read more
