i think this may be one of the cutest coffee shops that i've been to and the goose branding is amazing. we were able to find street parking on a sunday morning relatively fast and this was also a quick (uphill) walk to kerry park. i love how the coffee shop provides space for small local artists to display their art and merch. they were also playing noah kahan in the background with haikyu!! on a smol projector. lots of space to work or read too but it was busy (and also sunday morning). ordered "da ube" which was a really nice ube taste to coffee ratio (and i'm kinda pickyyy when it comes to iced lattes) but this was so good and not too sweet at all. i also ordered the matcha baked cake (with azkuki) and my husband ordered the blueberry one. these were a nice balance and texture. everyone here was also so nice and friendly! read more

Other Yelpers and my IG feeds have mentioned this place in passing, so I got here by driving during a Sunday around 11am despite the re-emerging Revive I-5 traffic and constant rerouting of my GPS to get here. Parking is rough near here and around the area in particular since it's Queen Anne but I managed to snag a spot right next to this place along W Queen Anne Driveway. The inside looks much bigger than it actually is; I was almost fooled into thinking a mirror on one of the walls was actually a doorway leading to even more seating in this place! Besides that, there is seating along the walls along with a huge coffee table in the middle and some bench seating to the immediate front of the front entrance. Artwork and knickknacks from local artists also line the rest of the walls and even a wooden shelf where the restroom is located behind. You can find their menu either at the doorfront or at the front counter, and staff are very informative with each of their drinks. Throughout my 15-minute stay here from looking around the getting my drink, the line QUICKLY started stretching close to the front entrance and was at least 12 or so people long. I got their Da Ube drink, which is grated ube and coconut cream with their espresso. I chose to get whole milk instead of oat milk since they do charge and extra dollar for milk substitutions. Staff advised me as a first-timer here to drink the ube cereal milk part at the bottom to make sure the taste is all right before mixing it in with the top espresso layer - if I choose to do so, that is. I could tell their coffee is kinda strong when i had a sip of it, so it could easily overpower the delicate, sweet taste of the ube layer. in the end, I decided not to mix them which helped a lot with getting all the taste from both parts. I would say with the many orders they took, they should ask patrons for their names since I wasn't sure if someone else got the same drink as me when they called out that a Da Ube was made. After many attempts to get here because of their limited opening hours, I'm really happy I got to give this place a try! I would really only come back if I was feeling adventurous like for this visit and willing to take some time to find parking around the neighborhood, but it gets a high recommend from me! read more

My first experience here was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and personable, from the cashier to the barista. We highly recommend the Da Ube' drink! Overall, the atmosphere is very inviting and cozy, and it's great to see them supporting the community by selling local art and crafts. I'll definitely be returning soon. read more

Orange Goose was a great find in the Queens Area. The coffee shop has a warm glow from the open windows. there is a middle table with about six chairs to read and do work. There are also small tables on the side with some outlets, but there is no back support for those chairs except for the wall. The menu has limited drinks but each drink is a 10/10! The flavors are unique and inspired. My favorite was the ube latte and my partner got the Smokey Bear drink. Each drink had a solid amount of espresso! They offer pastries as well and I tried their yuzu lemon cake. It was so good that I must have devoured the cake within five minutes. Around the coffee shop, there are cute little paintings of goose doing silly things. There are tables of knick knacks from local artists as well. An absolute treasure of a space in this area that I would visit to just lounge around or get the creative juices flowing. read more

I first experienced Orange Goose Coffee as a Hawaiian and Korean inspired pop up with Hayu Pastry back on 2/8/25, despite its inception back in 4/20/24. The experience stuck with me because it was a hosted in a street level community spot of a residential building. It felt like I had crashed an intimate get together in someone's living room. Plus the coffee and dessert were spot on. Fast forward to earlier this afternoon (4/25/26), snagged a great parking spot nearby, and checked out their transition from pop up to an indie brick and mortar. The cafe is located at a bright corner spot at 2 W Roy Street in lower Queen Anne by the Counterbalance (Queen Anne Ave N). Wood touches, exposed ceiling beams, wall art and well positioned framed prints and photos with plants. Retail shelves featured items from several artists. The music played overhead was enjoyable. There's a communal table, as well as, a banquette along one wall with pillows & cushions and individual attached round tables. Bev menu included the usual espresso choices, quality Rishi Teas from MKE, and signature drinks. Baked goods are from Pastry Mitten, another indie located over in First Hill/Seattle University. I decided to try a large iced Smokey The Bear: espresso, toasted cardamom honey syrup and whole milk. I had followed a car yesterday that had a Smokey The Bear sticker foretelling this visit, I digress. First counter person took my order and then another person crafted my bev. I recognized him as one of the owners from over a year ago. They also used a fascinating gadget that added a smoky nuance. The folks onsite were having convos, reading, writing, or phone scrolling. There's tons of plants and unique seating options to stay and work or read and good natural light. The menu has a variety drinks and a few small bakery items. The servers are very kind and efficient too. Overall this place is cute and quirky with a bright and welcoming local vibe. read more

It's a friendly local coffee shop. It's vibrant when you walk in with lots of people sitting and working or reading while sipping on their lattes. That being said, we couldn't find a place to sit so we strolled. I liked my latte I got the smoked one and it actually gets the smoke like a bourbon. That surprised me! read more

I held off on this review, but after a few weeks and discussion amongst my friends I figured it was worth sharing. After seeing the Instagram page and passing by the shop my friends and I decided to give this place a try. The atmosphere and ambiance were great and it was a busy weekend day. I loved the local art and decor, and it seems to be a community-driven coffee shop with an interesting menu that sets it apart from the other coffee places nearby. Service was good and I have no complaints. Unfortunately the drinks were quite subpar. Two of us got coffee drinks and one of us got the guava iced tea (G.O.G. on the rocks) and the flavor of the tea was far too watered down, and the specialty coffee drink I got (the maple star) did not have enough syrup in it to be considered a specialty drink. The flavor dissipated after a few sips. For $10 (the drink plus a tip) it definitely wasn't worth it. Unfortunately homemade coffee tasted better. On the other hand the Koto hojicha cake was actually very good. This alone saved my experience. I'm not sure if this shop is to-go only since that's what we decided, but the cake would probably look nicer served on a plate with a fork rather than eaten by hand. Flavor was excellent though, props to the baker! They're a new shop and I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in that maybe it was just an off experience and perhaps they will improve over time. It's a cute shop and nice atmosphere and I love supporting small businesses. Not really willing to spend more on their drinks at this time, however. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with how Orange Goose Coffee handled my experience as a vendor. I was scheduled to participate in their Saturday pop-up, but on the Monday before the event--only five days beforehand--I received an email informing me that I was being removed from the lineup due to concerns surrounding AI-generated artwork and what they described as "certain similarities" in my work. Although their email specifically stated that they were "not accusing" me, the decision to remove me had already been made without first contacting me to discuss the concern, identifying which specific designs were questioned, or giving me an opportunity to explain my design process. To be very clear, I do not sell AI-generated artwork, which made this situation particularly frustrating and concerning. If there were legitimate questions about my artwork, I would have been willing to discuss them directly and provide reasonable information regarding my creative process. Instead, I was told that they would like to see more of my process and artwork posted on Instagram before potentially inviting me back, and I do not believe the amount of behind-the-scenes content someone posts on social media should automatically determine whether their artwork is considered authentic. I completely respect Orange Goose Coffee's right to establish standards for the artists and vendors participating in its events, including choosing not to support AI-generated artwork. What I disagree with is removing an already accepted vendor based on concerns about perceived similarities without first allowing that person to address those concerns. When a decision can affect another small business owner's reputation, preparation, and opportunity to participate in an event, I believe basic communication and an opportunity to respond should come before a final decision. Orange Goose Coffee did offer to refund my vendor fee, and I appreciate that they did so. However, a refund does not change the fact that I had reserved the date, prepared inventory, and planned my schedule around participating in this event, only to be removed five days beforehand. I'm leaving this review to honestly document my experience so other artists and small-business vendors can make their own informed decision about participating in future events with Orange Goose Coffee. read more

Was excited to try this new cafe in LQA! They have some great drink options that are house specialities - I tried the Seed and Bean, which is good, but quite expensive ($8+ for a large coffee). I also tried their lemon yuzu cake, which was pretty dry but had good flavor. There is seating inside, but best for small groups of 1-2 people. They also had a lot of goods from local makers, which I really liked! Overall, a cute space and good coffee, but pretty expensive overall. read more

The customer service here was so so. The Do Ube latte was really good however it was kinda pricey. They don't mix the Ube in the Do Ube drink so be forewarned. The space is small yet very cute and a little cozy. Overall, I'd come back here to try their other drinks and I recommend this coffee shop if you're ever in lower Queen Anne. read more
