Luis and his crew are very professional and provide high-quality workmanship at a fair price. They demolished our existing side-yard wall and expanded our backyard by building a retaining wall, where we had a vinyl fence installed on top. They have also completed additional projects for us, including concreting our backyard and several demolition jobs. Not only do they deliver excellent results, but they also offer fair pricing and great communication throughout the entire process. read more

Luis and his team did the landscaping for our old house and we hired him to do work on our new house as well. Our project involved hardscaping with pavers, turf, planting, gravel, irrigation, and lighting, and they knocked it out the park. We also had a very tight timeline, and they were able to finish in time. Luis is very knowledgeable and professional and I would highly recommend his company to anyone looking for comprehensive landscape construction. read more

I recently hired Orange County Landscape Construction to replace over 800 square feet of concrete in my backyard and to build a custom stone fire pit, and I could not be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding! Luis, the owner, was professional, responsive, and clearly takes pride in the quality of his work. His crew -- Manny, Mike, Serafin, Eleazar, and Christoforo -- were exceptional. They are some of the hardest-working craftsmen I've seen: skilled, courteous, punctual, and extremely clean and respectful of the property. I live in an HOA community with homes in close proximity, and multiple neighbors went out of their way to compliment how professional and considerate the crew was throughout the project. They kept the work area tidy every day, were mindful of noise and cleanup, and always carried themselves respectfully. The concrete work is flawless, and the stone fire pit turned out beautifully, exactly how I envisioned it. The attention to detail truly shows -- from clean lines and level surfaces to the precision stonework on the fire pit. It's rare to find a company that delivers top-quality workmanship AND true professionalism, but Luis and his team exceeded expectations on every level. I would absolutely hire them again and highly recommend Orange County Landscape Construction to anyone looking for concrete, hardscape, or stonework done right. Five stars without hesitation. read more

Luis served as our project manager and contractor. From the moment we scheduled our initial consultation through the design process, permits, and completion, Luis was available whenever we had questions. Construction can be complicated. Sometimes, workers may not show up, weather can cause delays, and the city may require changes for permit approvals. Issues with neighbors can also arise, among other challenges. However, you save time and money with a reliable and knowledgeable project manager and contractor like Luis. The value he provided exceeded our expectations. We would 100% use his services again and highly recommend him. read more

Luis and Team are amazing. I needed 2 trees cut down and sprinkler system removed before laying down gravel in 5 areas. They removed 2" of soil before laying weed cover and gravel. They did not skimp on the gravel and evened it out. Before they left they cleaned up the entire backyard. I had estimates from 5 contractors and so very happy I selected OC Landscape Construction. Extremely happy with the investment I have made in the yard. read more

Luis and his crew did a fantastic job with our backyard transformation. We did a porcelain tile hardscape with a really nice layout for the back and side yard along with turf and landscaping/irrigation. He was a great communicator, always showed up when he said and they were right on schedule. Super collaborative and easy to work with. We're so thrilled with the result - it looks beautiful now and space we truly want to spend time in. Well worth the investment and he was awesome to work with. read more

Luis is personable, professional, and efficient. He resurfaced my patio as soon as we were ready and completed the project in less than one day. Further, Luis came up with a way to make the new concrete more structurally sound and yet also beautiful. And, he is the most reasonably priced. We are definitely going to use him on more projects! read more

Luis visited my home to inspect the uneven paving stones and cement in the yard, as well as the cracked block wall. He was very professional and proposed creative repair methods that were more innovative than those from other contractors. Communication with Luis was also very smooth. After comparing prices with several other competitors, Luis won the job with a reasonable price. He and his team completed the work as scheduled with highly professional workmanship, and the quality was above excellent. I highly recommend Luis for your service needs! read more

Luis and team removed and re-poured our back patio and small area in front of the house. He was an excellent communicator through the entire process, came exactly when he said, and the team completed work very quickly. Very satisfied with the final outcome and they cost less than others quoted! He had even texted to follow up after work was completed. Definitely recommend them for concrete work!! Thank you Luis!! read more

I reached out for an estimate on some concrete work I needed, and Luis promptly replied and was able to start right away. Came with a team of guys who did the job during the heat wave.. He was even able to build a privacy fence. I wanted to keep my trash cans behind. Everyone was polite and professional and really went beyond my expectations. Would highly recommend. read more

I was very impressed with Luis. His quote came in less than some of the competitors. He also was able to quickly get in and made a really beautiful area. I had existing decomposed granite, and when I signed the contract, he said he would remove the old decomposed granite to make a new path. Instead, he put down a thin layer of weed cloth and an even thinner layer of decompose granite. I have many parts in my yard where the weed cloth is coming up. The crew also took off with some of my stuff and Luis said he would drop it off and never did. If he is doing work from scratch, he really does do a great job. But if he was trying to reuse existing material, the work is fairly sloppy. I would also hide all of your tools and hoses because they may not be there when the work is done. read more

Luis does beautiful work, BUT...he is terrible at communication. His responsiveness is definitely sub-par. We found OC Landscape through Yelp, and he was the lowest bid, but it looked as though they would be able to do good work for us. He completely landscaped the backyard and put drought resistant plants along the house and decomposed granite throughout the rest of the yard. He and his team were also very good with concrete. We were so impressed that we allowed him to do the same in the front yard. This is where the small irritations during the previous work became larger. He failed to complete the job as promised and had to be reminded about many items that we had explicitly discussed and were in the sketch of a contract. Also, his team would fail to arrive on the day that they promised and left the sprinklers running on three separate occasions. At one point, they became completely unavailable for THREE WEEKS! They juggle multiple jobs, so if you are patient and tolerant, they may work for you. read more

We had Luis and team lay some concrete in our backyard a while back and when we had a second concrete project come up we knew they were the only team for the job! Luis is very communicative, offered us fair pricing, and got the job done quick. We have already recommended to some friends and family and will definitely continue to recommend!! read more

I found Luis through Yelp and he and his team have done a really nice job on 5 different projects for me. They completed an 82 ft long retaining wall at one of my rentals last year, a 60 ft long block wall in my backyard a few months ago, and some custom sized pavers around the front, side and back yard throughout the last year. His prices are fair and the quality is great. Always make sure you and the contractor are in sync with what you are looking for! read more

We hired Luis to pour a concrete slab, build a pergola, install privacy hedges, and lay DG in our backyard, We expanded the job to include the front yard. They cleaned up the job site each day, arrived as scheduled, and completed the job as promised. I highly recommend OC Landscape. read more

We hired Luis during the middle of my complete remodel of our house. The previous hardscape contractor raised their fee at the 11th hour. Our general contractor said he couldn't do anything so I went on Yelp to find another hardscape company. I contacted Luis and he came within a couple of days and gave me a quote. I reviewed the comments on Yelp which were all 5 stars. His company looked professional and I hired him.... Best decision I ever made! Remodeling is a nightmare but Luis and his team came through!!! I highly recommend Luis and his team! read more

I contacted oc landscape company to install artificial grass in a small area in my yard. Several other companies I contacted via Yelp either had a very high minimum they charge or flat out refused to do a job they deemed too small. Luis, the owner, was immediately responsive to my inquiry and came out to do an in person estimate within a day. His estimate for the grass was fair, and he also suggested a few other upgrades for my yard. While working on the grass, he and his crew discovered that the original drains running in my yard were not working properly. My neighbor had just encountered the same problem, so I knew Luis was genuine and not just trying to make money off me. In addition, Luis knew exactly which drain material would be the best for my yard. They fixed the drain issue and finished installing my grass. They also fixed a few minor cosmetic issues in the area that we hadn't discussed to make that area look nicer. In all, I am very happy with Luis and his team. They did a wonderful job, they're trustworthy, and their prices are reasonable. In fact, I already hired them for another landscaping job! read more

Let me be the first to say what a joy it was doing business with this team! I put up for bid, a small job of raising two gate pillasters up one level to prepare for new, taller gate installation due to the rotting of my existing wood gate. Luis, the owner of this company, contacted me via Yelp messaging, came in with a bid that beat everyone else's hands down, we chatted via text and then by phone, he gave me a range of what materials would cost, and he was here with his team within a day (he would have been here even sooner, but I was not available). The job was intended to be small, but finding an exact split-face match and size (8 inch) was non-existient (pilasters were built approx 25 years ago), so Oscar was able to take a full-size cinder block and adapt it to fit. The job also required drilling in rebar and filling with cement. Luis also found the correct grout color. Luis had texted me yesterday, Saturday morning and said his team was on their way. Together Oscar and his female partner worked hours non-stop until completion. I even brought them lunch and they didn't eat it until the job was done and the area cleaned up. At one point I was inside my garage lifting a box, and the woman came in and started helping me lift it. Also, I had another gate on the other side of the house that had swelled from the recent rains and would not close. Oscar sanded it down enough for it to close and lock, which reduced a tremendous amount of stress for me knowing it was open all night long. As well, instead of tossing out the grout that wasn't needed, Oscar found an area of my backyard cinderblock wall that had been peiced together in the past, and used the excess to fill those gaps so there was no waste. On Sunday Luis made a special trip to pick up all of the additional cinderblock that we didn't need to use. I am thrilled with this company and the workers! I was so thrilled, I tipped Oscar and his partner $50. They truly helped me out with EVERYTHING! Luis is very honest in his bidding with a fair price, and communication was great. I would not hesitate to call them again for other projects, and I think they do most everything. read more

We hired OC Landscape Construction for our backyard project. Originally, what drew my attention was the "budget friendly" and "satisfaction guaranteed". They didn't have many reviews on yelp but decided to request a quote, along with 3 other companies. Luis responded quickly and he was able to book a free consultation. Luis was professional and answered all of our questions. He provided insight and made suggestions. He was never pushy or arrogant. He was able to give us a timeline and provided and estimate within 24hrs. Eventually, OC Landscape Construction won us over with their integrity. We felt comfortable hiring them for our project. The crew arrived on time and were professional. Luis, was available, anytime, to answer any concerns and questions. They made this project very easy for us. Our family was impressed with the outcome. In our experience, the company was reliable and definitely budget friendly. Especially, compared to other companies in the area. Even though they don't have many reviews, I am glad we made the decision to hire them. We will keep them in mind for other future projects to come! read more

Luis and his team did a great job with our projects. We started with concrete down the side of our house but expanded to fixing the drain in our backyard that was already installed, including attaching the new gutter downspouts to the drain. When the concrete was puddling, he quickly returned to solve it. We then asked him to remove the weeds, level and add gravel to our backyard which solved our flooding problem. Will definitely work with Luis again. Very honest, reliable, responsive and well-priced. read more

Luis' quote was the lowest that we received, and so we went with his team. Throughout the process, we weren't very satisfied but my husband and I kept reminding ourselves: we get what we paid for. Eg. The quote clearly said that the concrete flower bed border would be reinforced with rebar, and it wasn't done. When my husband asked him instead of admitting it, he just said, nothing is going to happen, it's fine. Of course two weeks after the installation, there was a crack. His crew "accidentally" cut the wirings of the sprinkler system, and they never came back to fix. My husband reconnected them. His crew removed our gate to gain access for the entrance area, and never came back to put the gate back despite how he promised my husband that he would. I would have given the company a 3 star but my husband, always a kind man; said 4. read more
