Dr Packard and his office staff were professional, helpful, and provided me with great service.

Don't go there! I referred my mother since the optometrist gave me a handout stating the referring patient will get $50 for referrals. They lied to her and said she is getting $50 off her visit since exams are $109! On Yelp the exam is $59! My daughter was not getting the bonus of $50. I'm embarrassed that I sent my mom there especially since she drove 40 minutes to get there and her eye exam was done wrong to top it off! Another long drive for her because they did the exam wrong! I met Dr. Packard when I was walking by his office on my way to the nail place next door. He told me that it would be $59 for an eye exam. Since it has been over 17 years since my last eye exam, I knew it was beyond time that I get an updated exam. On the day of my appt., Dr Packard's staff greeted me. They were very welcoming. Dr Packard is very gentle, kind, and very thorough in his exam. I didn't feel rushed, and he went above and beyond to make sure that all of my questions were answered. I left a phone message for them on Saturday and didn't get a return call until Tuesday.

My husband went on for an emergency eye exam and was told he had a detached retina. Dr Packard told him that he would write a report so my husband's primary Dr could request authorization for him to see an opthalmologist as he would require surgery. Dr Packard told my husband this would be an emergency and here it is two days later and the office is telling us that Dr Packard hasn't had a chance to write the report yet. My husband can lose his sight in that eye if it's not taken care of yet the office doesn't seem to care and are taking their time....so utterly disgusted read more

Dr. Richard is the bomb! He was so helpful, friendly and fun to both my son and I when we were getting our eye exams done. I would go back and see him again, but I don't think I'll need another eye exam anytime soon. But if I happen to like, gouge my eye out in the near future, he would be the first person I'd see! Although the lady who runs the office is very nice, overworked and loyal, the bottom line is I paid $250.00 out of pocket using my insurance for progressive sunglasses which Dr. PACKARD says the lab lost. He told me its not his office responsibility and I received No Sunglasses at all. He told me its between me and the lab HE sent my sunglasses too. I paid his office not the lab. We had the pleasure of meeting Dr Packard while on a trip to Palm Springs. My daughter tore her contact, and she was miserable. I could not find a single place that had stock of her contacts. Dr packard said he had some samples in her prescription power and said he would give us a pair free of charge. He was so kind and saved us! I had an excellent experience here! The staff was so kind and helpful and the Optometrist was so amazing. He is personable and kind. I came in for a 4:30pm appointment on a Wednesday (and they close at 5pm). He was so generous with his time and energy, taking time to get to know me as a patient. As I prepared to look at new glasses, he let me know that I could take my time to get my glasses, as this was an important decision to make. That was super thoughtful and put me at ease as I searched for the perfect pairl! He was helpful and engaging! I previously went to a local chain store for glasses, which was just fine. However, this experience at Premium Vision Care blew that one out of the water. Nothing compares to supporting a local business, with smart doctors and kind staff.
