I have never left an optometry…read moreoffice without my prescription in hand and I have always had my contacts shipped directly to me. I've moved often and this is the standard elsewhere. They provided a receipt only and when I got home to order glasses and realized they did not provide my Rx, they refused to fax or provide my results. They have no EMR. When I went to get prescription, they informed me the contacts would be delivered to their office. Their office hours do not allow for most people with a job to visit. They close for 2 hours for lunch. They did a good job with my prescription but this is the most frustrating medical office I've ever worked with and as someone with very limited time off of work I will never go back.

He's a seasoned physician with excellent patient care and serves as the namesake for both optometric centers in Moreno Valley and Riverside. As the lead/mentor to all the other doctors, Dr. Clayton has a fantastic understanding of visual impairments big and small. The explanations I received during my recent check-up were easy to understand, he's very approachable. I came in for my annual visit and ordered my new hard contact lenses along with some back-up glasses. The frames selection was a bit weak. I spotted several glasses that seemed too old for my taste, so I settled for some aviator-style frames. I liked them enough to buy them! My visit was later in the day, however I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. I took my time asking questions and received great service. The Optometric Center is linked to Loma Linda University Health (although they're not owned by them), so the office was able to obtain my ophthalmology documents from my LLU physician. If you're looking for RGB lenses for keratoconus (which I have), this is the place to go! The Optometric Center is highly recommended!

When I asked the front desk why my mom still had not been called, the lady was very rude and unprofessional. She claimed those people were there before us, which was not true at all. Dr. Holcomb is incredibly professional. He takes the time to explain every test thoroughly and is willing to try multiple lenses to get things right. The equipment is also top-notch. I came in for my annual vision check and tried contact lenses for the first time, specifically multifocal. The fitting was thorough, and both Dr. Holcomb and the staff were patient and willing to test out several versions, sending me home with multiple trial pairs. For the fitting itself, I worked with Jennifer and Sabrina. Since it was my first time putting contacts in and taking them out, they were extremely helpful and walked me through the whole process without ever making me feel rushed. I also ended up ordering multifocal glasses with dimming. The front-office team was welcoming and professional as well. Overall, a great experience.

They have a fairly large selection of frames to choose from. The problem I had was Dr. Tran was repeatedly adjusting my prescription to make it weaker and I would have trouble reading street signs and seeing well. I would have to go back to get it adjusted. This happened multiple times. I've since went to a different eye doctor and have better vision with my contacts and glasses. Some members of the staff at the front desk are friendly, some of the technicians that helped me were not. During one of my visits they were playing unedited 90s grunge music the whole time I was there, complete with four-letter f-bombs. It just happened the one time, I thought it was very strange for this type of business though.

On my second visit, I brought in a pair of Louis Vuitton sunglasses with a broken bolt and a bent temple arm. Lyndon was very transparent and explained that trying to bend the arm back into place could potentially cause it to break. A couple of days later, he called to let me know they were ready for pickup, and I was so relieved! They turned out great, and I honestly expected the worst. Since these frames are discontinued & very special to me, I decided not to risk it. He did try to find a replacement temple, but wasn't able to find a suitable one. Linden was polite & upfront about my options. After leaving, I got lucky & was able to squeeze in for a much-needed eye exam across the way (due to a cancellation) & ended up ordering new glasses. Be sure to call ahead to verify hours, especially around holidays, as they can vary. The shop is closed Saturdays, which is a downside, but it's the only true eyeglass repair shop in the area--other 2 nearby places in the promenade don't actually offer repairs. Prices are very reasonable too. Conveniently located near Target & CVS next to the Kumon Learning Center. I'd definitely keep this place in mind for future repairs.
