We absolutely LOVED our Yummy Cupcakes! Our director wanted to treat our crew to a sweet treat and…read morethe team at Yummy Cupcakes helped us put together a great order. We had several dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free) and they helped us find something for everyone. They even labeled every cupcake! The cupcakes were delicious and moist, with wonderful unique flavors. THANK YOU Yummy Cupcakes!

I was unsure about posting this review because honestly, the cupcakes have always been "Meh," but…read morethis review isn't really about the treats. Awhile back, I took my 4 year- old there for a cupcake. As we were waiting in line, the owner got in to a conversation with the lady ahead of us. They complained extensively about the clientele coming from The Horror Bodega next door. She said that they weren't "her kind of people" and that the people from the comic store across the street weren't any better. She went on and on about how if she had known that "those kind of people" would be buying her cupcakes, she would have never rented the new location and how she didn't feel safe because they dressed like devils and wore ridiculous makeup. We couldn't leave because my kid was committed to get this cupcake, but I will not spend another dime at this shop. In response to the owners comment below: I walked in at the same time as the woman you had this conversation with and she left before I did. Your shop is small and it is impossible to only hear a portion of your conversation. You can try to reframe what you said after the fact but I understood exactly how you felt about your new clientele. I sincerely hope that the ridiculously made up devils chose to spend their money somewhere where their hard earned cash is appreciated and they are made to feel welcomed and safe. You have certainly lost a customer in me.

Such a cute spot with so many different flavors! On display there were many different flavors…read moreincluding coconut, lemon, blueberry pancake, and the classics (chocolate, vanilla, red velvet). The staff was very nice and helped us with our pick up order. We picked up our order through 'Good to Go' and the process went very smooth. We got a dozen mini cupcakes and a big chocolate chip cookie. All of which were delicious. My favorite was chocolate and my sisters was red velvet! I would recommend so anyone!

After having had a few more experiences with various SusieCakes locations, I can definitely say my…read morereview has downgraded. While the flavor variety is awesome and they don't skimp on fillings, man are these cakes typically dry and a little dense. Had the tropical coconut pineapple cake for a friend's retirement party in December and while the price of a small cake is steep, it was very good. I was impressed! Another friend and I debated what the best berry and cream cake was. I said WholeFoods. She said SusieCakes. We taste tested. We both stood our ground on our opinions. Last weekend,I had the strawberry cake at a birthday party and it was very dry and dense. And the baby's "smash cake" never really got any deeper than the frosting layer, which leads me to believe it was also dense. While I was doing my friend the favor of picking up said birthday cakes, I noticed the pineapple coconut was back in season, so I came to SusieCakes the next day to get a slice. Very friendly staff! But very dry cake. So disappointing after paying ten dollars for a slice. Overall, the vibes are always good. The flavors are great. But the texture is just not it.
