This is the first time I've been inside this cute boutique. Last time I came by the shop was closed, so I was sad because I really wanted to go inside. I think that was maybe the fall or late in the summer. This particular day I was able to enter I was surprised to find out the shop goes all the way back and was bigger than most of the other stores. I've been to in downtown Petaluma. the only thing I didn't like was the lack of color which I'm sure is a trend for fall or the winter season. Lol everything was all beige, white and a weird tan color, which is too close to my own skin color and honestly washes me out. I was surprised to see the only thing that did have color were all on the sales rack and in larger sizes or very petite/small sizes and each $20 apiece. Lol. I really like the environment, and every employee greeted me as I walked in, so I felt welcomed, but I didn't really see anything I would wear without altering or dying a different color. I guess I will have to go back in the spring when they get some new colors. But I did like the whole set up of the store very easy to walk through and I really like their display table with the jewelry And individual stones you could buy. read more

It was my first time going in on 6/23 and let me tell you I am sooo happy I finally made in here. I forgot the employee's name but I don't remember the last time I had good customer service like this while shopping for clothes. She really made the whole experience enjoyable and you can tell she was actually enjoying her job and liked helping people. Weirdly & amazingly enough she even reads minds and brought over something for me to try on that I regretted not bringing into the dressing room!!! That sealed the deal for me. What a gem! I went in on a Saturday afternoon to check out some boots I had seen on their IG page. The sales professional was very helpful and extremely accommodating. She quickly took me to the boots I was looking for, then showed me a couple more she thought I might like. While trying on shoes, I heard another customer ask her about a sale that would begin the next day. She patiently explained that while you weren't allowed to hold items for the sale, you could begin shopping online using the sale code at midnight. I ended up opting to return the next morning as soon as they opened and my favorite little bootie was still available! Truth be told...there was s second shoe I also had my eye on. I figured at 30% off, I may have to get both. Unfortunately, the second pair were sold out in my size. But that's ok with me...plenty of reason to return. They have a great selection of stylish clothing, accessories and jewelry. Stock seems to be updated frequently so check this place out often. The store offers personalized styling sessions and if you purchase anything you can get 20% off your purchase PROS: - offer 10% off for student discounts - super nice staff that gives you attention and helps with outfit matching or styling - great staff - cute bohemian style clothes and jewelry - can order and ship stuff to you for free if they don't have it. CONS: - clothes are a bit challenging for short ladies - curtain dressing rooms felt a little too tight. - need to up their belt and necklace game big time. read more

I literally dropped in in a major rush after spilling an entire cafe au lait on my jeans, and it was beyond easy to find something gorgeous that didn't break the bank to pick up and slip into. The ladies were super sweet and helpful, helped me purchase and took the dress to a fitting room for me to change into and I finally didn't smell like dried coffee and milk lol I've already received three compliments on the dress I bought and it hasn't even been 12 hours! Giving 4 stars bc I think clothes are a little overpriced (but there's nothing else around here like it, so i deal with it) and because the rewards program is either for online OR instore.. you are one person but you must have 2 reward accounts and points are accumulated for online or instore only.. you can't combine! Ex: You spend $50 online and then $50 in store, you do NOT have 100 reward points, you have 50 on each account, making it harder to reach your coupon goals. read more

I had purchased a sweater that I had seen promoted by JoJo from The Bachelorette a couple of weeks ago online (I live on the East Coast). I had put myself on the wait list three times to get it because I wanted it so badly. When I was finally able to purchase it, it shipped either the day of purchase or the next day and was in my possession in no time. Saying that I absolutely love this sweater would be an understatement. I got so many compliments and wish I could wear it more often without it being totally recognizable. I was super excited to see that there were new styles coming out today, Feb 14 at midnight. Because I know how quickly things sell out from this place, I set my alarm for 3 am EST and ordered three more sweaters as soon as the new collection dropped. Because I was in such a hurry, I had forgotten to enter the discount code I had. I emailed the customer service at the store wondering if they could tack it on after the fact not really expecting any response or action from it. Much to my surprise, Brandi, emailed me back giving me options on ways to discount/fix my order. I was absolutely in awe of this level of customer service. I am a nurse at a huge hospital in Virginia and have recommended this boutique to all of my coworkers and to anyone who compliments my outfits from Ooh La Loft. I had ordered a couple things off their site and a few days later got an email letting me know they were both on backorder. Siera was the one helping me out, and she gave me the option to refund both items. She also provided me with a discount code to use for my next order and to let her know when I found some things I liked. I placed and order and emailed her back, she emailed back right away and expedited my shipping. Within 10 minutes I got an email saying the items had been shipped! As the name indicates, this place is in the 'loft' above Copper Home and Garden and can be easy to miss. Just look for the signs on the street directing you upstairs. Reminds me of Knimble in Cotati (which I am a huge fan of). Very good quality (and therefore relatively expensive for used) clothing, shoes and jewelry. I love Ooh La Loft! The owners have an extensive knowledge of wardrobe design and it shows. They combine two things that I love: good taste and environmentalism! Their selection of clothing is flattering and varied, so they don't just cater to one wardrobe style. Those of you who like retro styles (20's-70's) will be happy here. Lots of the clothes are vintage-inspired. For those of you who enjoy wearing designer jeans, they have lots of them. For those of you who like local artisans and designers, they carry lots of local jewelry and clothing. As for the environmentalist part, they really do care about the planet and want to do their part to help by selling beautiful used clothing so we don't add more textile and used clothing waste to the landfills. Two amazing stores ran by two incredible sisters and full-time mommies! I have been a customer of theirs for years and am consistently blown away by the level of customer service I always receive, but more importantly the wide array of stylish, staple pieces that can be found both in-stores and online. My favorite jeans (the Can Cans) come from here, and they always have beautiful dresses and tops for when you want to look extra beautiful or have an event to attend. Whether you're looking for beautiful jewelry and accessories, stylish booties and heels, or just need to treat yourself to a cute new outfit this is the place to go. I also love the fact that I can find (and sell) great gently used clothes here. I found a beautiful Free People sweater here for a steal, as well as another super stylish James Perse sweater. One of my FAVORITE boutiques by far and I have been a customer since they've opened. The quality of everything is worth the price and more. They always have on-trend items and are constantly bringing in new inventory. I recently visited both Santa Rosa and Petaluma locations when I was in town visiting my family. I bought most of what I wanted at the Santa Rosa store, but they didn't have one of the skirts I wanted to buy in my size, so I stopped by the Petaluma store on my way back to Sacramento. While I was there I tried on other skirts but ultimately decided on the original one I came for. It wasn't until I got home that I realized there was a mix up and that another skirt I had tried on also was rung up and placed in the bag. I immediately emailed them about returning it and they right away, sent me a refund, and let me know that I could keep it or donate it since it didn't fit me well. I'd say that's the best customer service there is! I will continue to do business with them, not only because I literally love everything they sell, but also because they have the best customer service! read more

I absolutely LOVE this store! Every time I go in there, I can't leave without purchasing something! Right when you walk in, you're greeted by the cutest, newest, (and very reasonably priced) clothing. Keep going towards the back and you'll find amazing accessories (some locally made which I think is awesome) and in the back are the consignment racks which are the best I've ever seen. They're not overstuffed, and everything in the racks are something I'd wear! I never find that to be true at any other consignment stores. Added bonus - the restroom (yes, they have a restroom, how awesome is that?) and the dressing rooms are so freaking cute! I can't say enough good things about this place! Cute clothes, friendly employees, and great selection for a variety of price ranges. They carry some higher end brands like free people, frye, and Flynn Skye if you're going for an upscale boutique vibe, but since it's in a college area they also offer equally amazing clothes at lower price points so anyone can shop here. Plus, they do this "free styling" thing which essentially means someone who knows fashion tells you what looks good and how to wear it, and then gives it to you for 20% off with your styling appointment. I had a little mix up with my online order. I placed an online order for the Virginia faux fur vest and accidentally received the Vivianne faux fur vest. However, I called the customer service phone number and the woman on the phone was so sweet and sympathetic. She apologized for the mishap and told me she would be sending out the correct vest in the mail today and that I should receive it by the end of the week with a return envelope so I don't have to pay the shipping on returning the other vest. I wasn't too upset to begin with, but the customer service this woman gave me on the phone was fantastic and although I've always been skeptical about shopping online, I will most definitely shop Ooh La Luxe again not only for their beautiful clothing pieces, but their amazing customer service and pleasant demeanor! How would I give ooh la luxe anything but a 5 star rating? They have the cutest boho clothes, shoes, accessories, and decorations ever! I have been going to this boutique ever since they opened (9 years now) and they have only gotten better. They completely exceed expectations when it comes to customer service. They give you genuine opinion when you try on clothes and always are seeing if they can help you with anything, and not in the annoying sort of way. I feel like the workers really connect with the store and it is so refreshing. Warning: if you go to ooh la luxe you are destined to buy at least one thing per visit. Everything is just so cute! The sales staff are so accommodating and are willing to help you. I came in to the Petaluma location with my fiancé to figure out what I would wear to my cousins wedding - one of the associates (I forgot her name), gave me options and checked in on me often. These ladies have amazing, original, fashion-worthy stye sense, and I am always amazed at the continuous evolution of their store--it gets better every time I go in! As a virgin yelper, I HAD to make Ooh La Loft my first review...I honestly believe this store sets the standard for shopping in downtown Petaluma, or really, for any small town in my opinion. They have great merch: gently-used and NEW (in the front-half of the store), awesome atmosphere, and friendly, helpful service. Best of all, ITS AFFORDABLE! Its obvious that these girls know their stuff, and use it to be very selective of the items they put on their racks. Six months after purchase, I still absolutely LOVE the jeans I bought on my first visit--and they remain my favorite pair. They have tons of unique finds. I am not surprised that the store is busier each time I visit. In a town where Ross stood for years as the best bet for local deals, its so refreshing to find a place that offers affordability AND quality.
