It was your negligence of not WARNING customers that washing their "vintage" tie dye shirt was going to wreck all your other clothes if washed together. First of all- this isn't even real vintage. If it was, no one should have even had to think twice about the dye messing up my other clothes. And secondly, to offer just an in-store credit by returning the item is BS. It was an overpriced too anyways, I will not be supporting this business anymore.

The first time Gayle and I visited a few years ago, I was particularly taken with some wood boxes. The next time we came in the boxes were gone, but Gayle snapped up some Vietnamese table art. Last week that stuff was gone and the place seemed to feature more clothing in the back and kind of a Tchotchke density up front. It's all original looking and the store staff have always been helpful and friendly. Nothing piqued our fancy during this visit, but I'm sure that Artifax will shape shift into something else the next time.

To our surprise, they were closed the day we were there -- but it didn't even phase my husband. He decided we had to come back the next day when they were open because his vacation wasn't going to be complete until he got to visit his favorite shop. And boy.. I'm glad he decided to come back! Not only did we load up with a bounty of amazing t-shirts, stickers, and whatnot... the super amazing woman who works there actually remembered us from two years ago! I wish we had shops like this where I live. Every single item is so unique and fun. We had more fun shopping at Hinterland Empire than anywhere else on our entire trip.
