As soon as I walked in one gentleman greeted me and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I was merely shopping And he showed me their guard dog. Lol a cute little six month old sheep herding dog. As I walked along the exterior, they had a number of glasses as well as cute, quaint things perhaps a gentleman or bachelor might like. Random things for whiskey, lovers, as well as smoking cigars and even modern style wallets for gentlemen. They are also a number of leather handbags and hats towards the end caps. As I walked around another gentleman seem to get off of his lunch and came back inside and started playing on the grand piano that was in the foyer. The way he played, was so beautiful. It sounded as if the CD/music changed overhead until I looked at the piano and realized it was live! Things in this particular shop were a bit expensive or high-end, but they were also namebrand items. They also had some less expensive things such as 20 and $30 wallets as well as some random lavender or incense. You could buy kind of like a small stocking stuffer or little sidenote present , overall I really liked the old feel of this particular building but since I wasn't searching for anything in particular for a gentleman or within the eyeglass department, I never bought anything but I love their display. He told us we could touch as many things as we wanted and to feel free to just walk around and hang out. Nick gave us a tour of the vault and said there are future plans to add to this location. He said it was a family business and they were happy to be here in Petaluma. I called the salon explaining I was looking for a new stylist and my normal hair needs. I was connected with Patricia the same day and she was able to get in the next day! We had a quick call and went over what my hair currently looks like and what I wanted to do during my appointment. Patricia was amazing during my appointment. I threw a curve ball at her when I got there as I wanted some more demotion in my hair vs a highlight. She talked it through with me and explained how we could accomplish different variations of what I was looking for. Once we landed on one she got to work and it came out amazing! My hair came out better than I imagined and Patricia was so nice during the whole service. The salon itself was cute and welcoming, it was easy to relax and enjoy everything being done. Today my daughter and I went in for her to pick out a birthday gift for herself. The young woman at the register, Jupiter, was very rude to us. My daughter chose a pack of Lorcana cards and I was looking at the earrings, but Jupiter was huffing and puffing impatiently since she had rung up the cards and wanted to finish the transaction. I asked her a question about the earrings that were on the counter and she snapped that she didn't know and that I should just look at them to figure it out. As i kept looking at them for less than 15 seconds, she slammed her hand on the counter and abruptly turned around to do something else. When I picked out the earrings to buy, she snapped, "Is that it now?" I asked for her name which she barked it at me while asking my name in the same confrontational way. I maintained being friendly to her, mainly to spare my daughter, (she's a sensitive adult with special needs.) As we walked out, Jupiter tried to cover her tracks by thanking us and wishing my daughter a happy birthday, but the damage was done. My daughter said she doesn't want to go back in there if Jupiter is there. This isn't the first time the Staff has been rude, and while we've also been greeted by friendly workers, the negative treatment has happened often enough that it's clear that half of the Staff needs to take a refresher course in basic customer service.

Did I learn how to make candles on my own? No. It was more of an introduction to the world of candle making. Give it a try and dip your wick into it. FYI: You get a 15% store wide discount on the day of the workshop. Scents open up more fully in your candle after a few days. One Disappointment: We checked Google and Yelp for their hours and thought we could make it before they closed. We raced over for our candles after work.
