This place is so cute! I felt like I was on vacation just by being in the store. Everything felt unique and affordable!

This is the cutest shop and the staff are extremely kind!! I accidentally left my track uniform in their fitting room. I was so worried I wasn't going to get it back because I live far away, but they went out of their way to ship it to me! Plus their clothing is super unique, well priced, and the there is so much to choose from! I will definitely be coming back when I'm in Petaluma :) read more

This store has a new staff member who is worlds beyond what the privious ones were like. I hope the owner knows how much better she is and hope any new employees are similar. She was kind, helpful, and approachable. The clothes are always great and the store always looks well organized. read more

This is the sweetest little shop! They have a fantastic selection and they are always getting new inventory in and keeping the selection fresh. They also play great music which adds to the enjoyment of the shopping experience read more

Brinley is an amazing rep for this store! I went in and described a ring I had seen a month prior, she dug through the entire jewelry stock to help me find it. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and makes the entire shopping experience better. The store itself has an amazing selection of everything and I look forward to returning to shop here. read more

Nice shop, reasonable prices ,great selection for all ages. Ann was very helpful in putting together tops for a new pair of pants that I had purchased elsewhere. Showed me latest inventory. I Left with a top and a second pair of pants. Will definitely return. read more

Sales person was very rude. Rushed me out of the shop wouldn't let me try something on when I came in because she was closing. I would think making a sale and staying open a few extra minutes would be important. Probably is to the owner! read more

I was given a gift card to this shop and just stopped in for the first time and I LOVED everything! They have the cutest clothes, jewelry, and accessories, all priced reasonably. I was helped by Brinley and she was a DELIGHT! She was so helpful and sweet! She made great suggestions a made my shopping experience so enjoyable. I will definitely be back. read more

I LOVE this little shop:) My favorite part is the jewelry. There are both dainty and bolder options available, and it's super affordable too! The one girl working there on the weekends, sorry I missed your name, is SUPER friendly and sweet! Can't wait to visit again!! read more

I live in Novato 20 minutes away, but the trip is worth it! There is no store that compares to this one! I am always on their Instagram checking out what new clothes have come in. Almost every other week they are putting clothes aside for me and give me time to pick them up. Since I have a small child they are nice enough to run my stuff to me outside! They have latest styles and the coziest clothes. They work with me on what's fits best and are so patient and hospitable. Check them out if you can, it is soooo worth it! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. Meghan L. and I can't ever leave this splendid little shoppe without buying at least 1 thing each. Their merchandise rotates weekly. They sell everything from clothes to jewelry to art to candles. You know, the necessities. And to top it off the decor is fabulous. It's bohemian beach chic. If I owned a house I'd hire the daughter who decorated this store to decorate my entire house. The decor alone makes me want to come back. read more

This is my first ever Yelp review because I'm not usually one who posts about my experience but I feel like this needs to be said. Two weeks ago I bought a dress and asked the young lady a couple of times what their return policy was. She stated that I could return it for store credit within a month and that the store credit will never expire. I had her email and text me the receipt just to be safe. I went in today (only two weeks later) to exchange the dress because I just didn't like how it looked. I have the tag and both receipts. I went up to the counter to exchange the dress for two other items and had the worst experience with, who I'm guessing is the owner. She told me that there are no exchanges, only for a different size and it has to be within a week. I explained to her that was not what I was told and she continued to tell me that is not their policy and she doubts anyone who works there would tell me something different. I showed her both of my receipts and told her what weekend I came in on. She then checked her phone to see who was working that weekend because she just didn't believe one of her workers told me something different. I ended up receiving store credit, but the way she made me feel like I did something wrong is not how a business should be run. I worked in a boutique for three years and could not imagine treating a paying customer the way she did. She also does not greet any customers that walk in. I've lived in Petaluma my entire life and love supporting small businesses, but I will not be going back there. read more

I have shopped at this store numerous times, and this last experience was the straw that broke the camel's back. The people who work there- owner, sister of the owner (I think) who also owns the salon upstairs, and the daughter/neice- are incredibly RUDE and customer unfriendly. Firstly, I've never been greeted in the store. This time I was buying gifts for christmas but when I inquired about the return policy I was told that there wasn't any. I said I might not shop there if there was no possibility of exchange for something that might not fit or that the gift recipient didn't care for. I was told that it would be fine if I didn't shop there anymore. Our exchange went on and while I was checking myself to make sure I was remaining poised and polite with my questions, I was told that the young girl (daughter/neice) was in the back crying because of our exchange. When she came out, the aunt glared at me, looked at the girl and told her loudly "you didn't do anything wrong; you did everything right". I couldn't get out of there fast enough and while I typically like the products, I will not support such a rude and unfriendly atmosphere. read more

Absolutely love this store! Wonderful customer service from the moment I walk into the store until I leave, fashionable and current pieces, well-priced, and overall love the vibe in this store! Love that this gem of a store is in Sonoma County. I have not ever experienced the negative customer service as described, and on a positive note, it has been and continues to be just a wonderful place to shop and experience. My interactions with the people working in the store have been positive and warm, so thank you again so very much! Forget Anthropologie or any other clothing shop in the area, this is the place to be! My go-to store always! read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The older white haired lady didn't say hi, bye, or go to hell to us. She completely ignored all of the other customers in store, and instead tried on earrings..? I had to let myself into a fitting room because she was ignoring me. Worst customer service on earth. read more

Yep. Still one of my favorite stores in Petaluma and the planet Earth.

I went to this boutique on 3/25 and all of the staff was super friendly, attentive. I could buy literally 1 of everything, they had such perfect tunics, dresses, hoodies, denim and the boots were so cute! If you're ever in town definitely check this place out, you might leave with 1/2 the store! read more

This is my number one boutique in Petaluma. The owner always has new displays and new clothing as often as I go in and I just love everything! The clothes are not only cute but very well made and it is and always will be one of my favorite shops in Petaluma . I send everyone here looking for good clothes shopping in Petaluma Love it ! Can't go wrong - great jewelry too read more

My favorite shopping spot in Petaluma! They carry the most eclectic and unique clothing and accesories. What I especially love is they must be ordering in small quantities, because typically they only carry a couple of pieces in each size, and that's it. You're assured that you've purchased a piece that you most likely will not see someone else wearing. I always get complemented on the clothes I buy from this place. The prices range anywhere from $8 to $80, so there's something for everyone - depending on when payday hits! They also carry some really adorable household items - pillows, frames, etc. - but I'm always on a mission for clothes! read more

My best friend and I stopped in the for first time today. We got almost to the back of the store before I realized someone was working at the counter. She was on her phone with her head down. I initiated conversation by saying hi. There was a delay and she stuttered saying hi ( as if we were interrupting her) while she was still engaged with her phone. I turned and looked at my friend and we both were surprised at this interaction. So we turned to leave and said thank you, the young girl huffed and sarcastically said "come again..." all the while still staring down at her phone!!! I've worked in retail and managed 2 establishments over 8 years and I am appalled with this interaction. I would be embarrassed if this was my employee and would make a change to ensure my staff was providing better service, let alone the common decency to greet an individual with a simple hello... read more

Hands down, the CUTEST shop in Petaluma. Beautiful clothing, amazing furniture, and the most brilliant handmade picture frames and mirrors I've ever seen. The space is bright, clean, and always has a friendly face at the counter. read more

We had a horrible experience with an exchange for a pair of shoes that were purchased two days before. All of the reviews that explain how rude and unprofessional they are, are true. The ones about them not even saying hello and greeting customers are true. I will never shop there again and I'm pretty sure all the good reviews are secretly from their friends. Shop at your own risk. read more

This place is ADORABLE!!! The store is small but they fill it with the cutest items possible. I go there when I have an event that I need an outfit for; they always have something that works perfectly and they don't break the bank! Even coats are reasonably priced and I've gotten more than a few purses there as well. I literally go there every pay day to stock up on their latest inventory and it never disappoints. I've only every bought their clothing, but next I will invest in their bedding and housewares, you can't go wrong with Splendid Little Shoppe and their sweet employees. Go there, you wont regret it!!!!!! read more

OK, if you want cool stuff at awesome prices!? This is it! I cant believe how affordable they are! I only find the best here! So unique, I know that no one but me will have such amazing things from frames, to earings, to my fav! Furniture!!!!!!!! Nicest service as well! another Petaluma must stop, shop, and BUY!!! read more

Love this store! When we visit our daughter's family I love going here to see what is new. This is her favorite store. This time I bought two long shirts. One was $46 and the other was on sale for $20. As another person said, the price varies and there is something to satisfy everyone. read more

Super cute store. They always have nice things that draw me in. The only downfall, they have never, not once, greeted me when I walk in -- not said bye or anything in between. Kinda awkward as you walk through with nothing said. I'm sure I would buy if there was any type of interest with me being in their store. read more

I never even knew this little shop existed! We were heading to Lala's for ice cream and saw them. I shop here regularly and they have some adorable finds that you aren't able to find at any other store in Petaluma. Only down fall is that I have come to shop here and 6 out of the 10 times I've been here in the last two months, they've been closed. It's super frustrating to drive down, find parking and to only find them closed. Those "Be Right Back" or "Be Back In 30" signs really annoy me. read more

Love the shirts at this store, but almost always are out of my size (either small or medium). It would be great to have them order more of something that is selling out and be able to take a waiting list and then call people when the item comes in rather than leave it to me to follow up. I am someone who tries to spend my money in Petaluma small businesses so if I can buy it here I will, but often I have to end up ordering it online and paying shipping. Great choices of cotton shirts than one can dress up and down. Overall I love this store and always find a shirt that I like. read more

Pretty much the cutest clothing store in Petaluma. It's sister store in Fairfax (My Beach House Style) is sweet too. It has been written up in Sunset and some other home decor mags. It's definately worth popping in if you find yourself in Petaluma! read more
