For the price, this place is really great flavor wise. Came for lunch and got the lunch combo which comes with a bowl of noodles and a side you can choose. I chose the gyoza which were really great! Pan fried to have a nice crisp to them. The flavor of the tonkotsu was actually rich and the oils added were the perfect amount. It was great to see a lot of topping on the ramen. Only note is that these aren't your typical ramen noodles. It's a little more like egg noodles. There was only one server and another party when we arrived. Our server got a little flustered as more people came in and it took a minute for our ramen to come out but they were really nice. A little on the slower side with service: We finished eating and just sat there for about 10mins before we were able to get the attention of our server. Interior is really cute with a modern touch. I happened upon this place on the lunar New Year and I think this new spot is lucky indeed. First of all the decor and space is innovative and comfortable at the same time. I love the decorative lighting and wall art that looks like a moon. If the restroom is indicative of the kitchen, it is super clean and neat. This feels high end for a shopping center. I got there about 7:30 on a Saturday evening and I had quick and attentive service. I was starving so I placed an order for Gyoza. I must be jaded by other restaurants because I was shocked when these arrived perfectly cooked and not greasy. I know this is not everyone's favorite appetizer but they were served quickly and just right. I would order these again. I wanted the Tonakatsu but they were sold out so I decided to swerve and try something besides the ramen. I ordered the Classic Omurice. I had never had this before but it is a serving of chicken fried rice topped with a wet omelet. Wow. The server brings a small loaf size serving of fried rice with an omelet draped on top. Table side they use a small knife to slit the egg omelet down the middle and it unfolds like a butterfly. They also bring a small shaker of crushed nori and a tiny pitcher of Demi glaze which to me tasted like soy sauce mixed with ketchup. The fried rice was studded with lots of flavorful chicken and black capped mushrooms. I had enough to take home and enjoy the next day and I would say the rice, chicken and mushroom ratio was equal. This was a flavorful new experience and I really enjoyed the egg melded with the fried rice. My server checked on me several times and like I said I took some left overs home. The only thing they could have done better is pack up the left over sauces. The manager or owner stopped by to see how everything was going. I observed another table getting a tray of drinks that looked inviting. I will probably try that next time along with their lunch special which includes a small serving of an appetizer. read more

I really wanted to like Oodle more. I've been watching the place being built and I was excited to try it once it opened. However, I was pretty disappointed in most of the flavors. The service, though, was excellent, and the team was always available and the food came out quickly. Breaking it down: The gyoza was nothing special, seemed to lack any distinct flavor and was generally bland. Sadly, the ramen was the same. A black tonkatsu is a staple in most ramen shops, and this had nothing that made it special. The pork was good, but the broth was fairly plain and needed more flavor. We went early in their run, so I'm hopeful that after a few weeks of adjustment the food prep will get better and I will be thoroughly impressed. read more

Both were okay but could use a little flavor--enter the togarashi bowl on the table which made A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE--definitely take advantage! I've had a suspicion that Orlando restaurants underflavor their food to cater to less seasoned (lol) palates, and it's nice that they give you the option to adjust the salt and spicy. My husband tried the ribs which he said were tender, but fried and then one end of the ribs he said we're just not as tender and not as tasty. This is by far the best ramen spot I've been to! We came in for lunch on Sunday, so it wasn't too busy and we got seated quickly. The restaurant was well decorated and clean. Service as great. Our server made recommendations and everything he suggested was really good. He also checked in plenty of times. To drink, I got the Thai tea and my dad got the hot green tea. Both were nice. For my entree, I got the aroma miso ramen. It was so delicious and very garlicky. Each element was perfect and the presentation was gorgeous. My dad got the tonkatsu ramen and loved it. Went back to Oodle ramen before heading to the Universal pass holders night last night since it is only minutes away from the park. We were on time for the happy hour so we ordered 6 different appetizers and 3 Sapporo draft beers for the total under $50. I really don't see many establishments near the area can beat that. Other than all my favorite appetizers from last visit, I also ordered the Oodle wings, takoyaki, and buns. The Oodle wings were my winner this time. It was huge, crispy, and very juicy. The food here was delicious! This is now one of my favorite ramen spots in Orlando. The service was great too. Everything that was ordered was very fresh and tasty. The spicy Tonkotsu ramen and Korean garlic gochujang oodle wings were not spicy to me at all, but they do have a spicy seasoning at each table, so I added that to my ramen and wings and that helped satisfy my spicy craving. My favorite thing were the wings, they were very crispy and a good amount of sauce and not too much breading. The place is very casual and nice. The bar has tv screens where one is playing videos of cats, another is showing cooking videos, another is showing anime, and another is showing Tokyo city scenery. Came for the first time on a Friday afternoon right when they opened to have lunch. Is a fairly big restaurant with plenty of tables. The service was ok, I felt it was a bit slow for it to be empty when we came in. It did get started to get busy closer to 12:30-1pm. They do have a very nice vibe pretty quiet with no loud music. To drink I had a glass of plum wine wish was really good. We had 2 lunch combos. One was the tonkatsu with takoyaki. And the spicy tonkatsu with they gyoza. Both ramens were ok, we like that it had big fatty pieces of pork and the noodles were al dente and not overcooked. The spicy one wasn't really spicy but the have chilly powder on the table and you can ask for chilly oil as well which made it better. The gyoza were fine nothing special and the takoyaki were a little mushy inside and didn't take the octopus at all. For dessert we had the vanilla mocha ice cream that came in a cute bathtub bowl. The order was ready on time, and the host at the front desk was ready with it. It's a somewhat upscale-ish location for ramen, a little on the formal side. My broth for the Classic Tonkatsu Ramen was rather salty, but the noodles springy and chewy. The side of Takoyaki were savory and creamy in the centers, nice mayo condiment. The Shishito Peppers were blistered, somewhat tough, and varied in heat (as peppers do), some were spicy, some not. Might try again and dine in, perhaps doesn't travel well. read more

My husband and I shared tan tan ramen, krabby sliders and nori fries. My husband can't have dairy and they graciously accommodated us by not adding the heavy cream. It was still good. I would prefer it with the cream but still a solid ramen flavor. It tasted like it had more pepper seasoning but it didn't bother me too much. We shared krabby sliders and it was sooooo good we ordered another round! The buns were buttery and toasted to perfection! The soft shell crab had a great crunch paired with pickled vegetables. The restaurant was not busy at all too - maybe a total of five small tables. The server took the order and that's where the wheels kind of fell apart. The takoyaki came out quick and was very good. The omurice, on the hand, was all problems. It took about 45 minutes from when I ordered it to when it came out. The egg which is supposed to be running was a bit over cooked and the sauce was salty. Overall a disappointment. A plus was the ube panna cotta was actually good. Recommend you try the takoyaki and the ube dessert. Hope they work out their kinks. read more
