This used to be a Firehouse Subs. I heard good things about this new spot and wanted to try the Omrice. The restaurant decor is lovely! It has a nice clean modern feel. The wooden decor and the soft white walls and lighting made it look cozy and modern. The menu is pretty good! A nice variety of dumplings, bao, ramen and other specialties. I got the Omrice and strawberry tea. Mom got the vegan ramen. The tea was refreshing and not too sweet! The ramen was delicious! The broth was excellent and flavorful! When I saw Oodle Ramen offered omurice on their menu, I was so curious to see how this dish would taste and just knew I had to pay a visit. The presentation is well done (the server slices open the egg, it unfolds on the bed of rice underneath and pours the gravy on top with a flourish of seasoning). The dish itself is very tasty and comforting, but I do wish there were more chicken inside the fried rice! Also I would recommend this dish for family-style sharing rather than someone getting this as their main meal. The Oodle ribs were absolutely delicious, the meat just slid right off the bone and the seasoning is so flavorful! Definitely recommend as a must-try. The ube panna cotta was thoroughly enjoyed by my friend, it's not overly sweet which is a great thing to note, as panna cotta may be known for sugar overload. The suishingen dish is probably one of the most unique dishes I've ordered at a restaurant, it's very gelatinous. Mixing a spoonful of it with the powdered sugar and brown sugar syrup really reminds me of eating straight boba. Very friendly customer service. Inside has lots of seating and is clean. I happened to drive by while starving and decided to check it out. First, I'll start with the positives -- the staff and the service, both absolutely wonderful and I truly couldn't ask for more int terms of those two aspects. I think my server's name was Jon, and he was great! Unfortunately, though, the most important aspect -- the food -- fell short for me. I ordered the vegan ramen and, while the noodles were fine and the tofu skin was delicious, the rest of the dish was disappointing. The broth was little more than water and was barely salvageable after adding a good amount of soy sauce and chili powder. The tomato, scallions, and corn were also flavorless. While the dish typically contains bamboo shoots and mushroom, I asked for mine without and chose to add fried garlic which was just ok. I'm not sure how they managed to even make the garlic bland but it was. I'm not opposed to retuning but, if I do, I would certainly not order the same thing and would instead try the vegetable dumplings. I think Oodles would do well to take notes from Rakiraki in San Diego, which serves a very flavorful triple tomato ramen. read more

FRIED OYSTERS:10/10 Hubby hates seafood because he doesn't like any kind of fishy smell but, he ate 3 pieces of my order of fried oysters! It was so nice and crispy and it came with a nice piece of lemon and tartar sauce. The presentation was also beautiful! GYOZA: 8/10 The texture is nice and soft and the flavor is good. 2 points off because we usually like the bottom of the gyoza to be more crispy and fried... Hands down one of if not the best ramen spot in Orlando‼ I've been dining at Oodle Ramen since they first opened, and I still haven't gotten tired of it. The staff is phenomenal and always makes dining there an absolute pleasure. This visit, we kicked things off with two appetizers. The BBQ Spicy Garlic Edamame and the Seaweed Salad w/ tuna were both delicious!!One of the coolest parts about dining in is the TVs at the bar playing a mix of new and classic anime all day long. So while we waited, we got to catch some anime and pass the time, which was a nice touch. Once the food hit the table though, the anime had to take a backseat. I ordered my go to ramen, the Tan Tan with Chashu, and it was superb as always. The broth is insanely flavorful, perfectly creamy, and never misses. I ordered the Pork Tonkatsu curry, The curry flavor was yummy, not sure why there were so many peppers on the side, but the rice was good. The pork cutlet was disappointing. I feel like it was reheated from a frozen patty since it wasn't fresh batter it was separating from the pork as you cut into it. We also got the Wagyu Fried rice 4/5, an Aroma ramen bowl 3/5, and Korean Garlic Wings 4/5. The best 2 meals was the Wagyu rice & the wings. The waiter answered my questions capably and understood the menu well. The karaage showed up hot and cooked beautifully. It was moist and not chewy. While I liked the flavor, I'm accustomed to there being a little gochugaru to give it a more Asian flavor. The tonkatsu ramen was excellent. Good soft boiled egg. Excellent pork. Tired from another day at universal, this ramen spot is only 8 minutes from where we were! We made it 30 min before closing and was happy to come here. Ramen wise was alright. I like the chasu and toppings. Noodles was thin and I am not a huge fan. But, still a decent bowl a ramen. Wish it was spicier. I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and bf opted for the black garlic tonkotsu. We also got an order of shishito peppers which is really good but would be even better if they cooked it a little longer cause some was just too hard to eat. The vibes were there, but as for the food, I'm not sure we missed much. The ramen broth of the ramen was nice, but I have had ramen with more depth of flavor for only a dollar or two more within very close proximity. One waiter for a multiple person dining room is pretty much a recipe for disaster. The guy was absolutely doing his best... but inevitably someone does get ignored. This is my second time coming here. I came here this time last year and my friends have been excited to come back ever since. We got the cucumbers which were delicious, the sauce was so good that I was still picking at it even after I ate all of the cucumbers. The fries were also good, crispy, with a delicious sauce.
