When they were on the roof checking the vents, they noticed that my swamp cooler water line had a leak in it and asked me for a couple of things so they could just fix it for me. Unfortunately I didn't have one of the items, so they offered to run down to the hardware store and picked it up. WHAT??? I was seriously shocked and impressed that they would go out of their way to fix something for me that wasn't what I had hired them for. We used Varsity early…read morelast year for German roaches and were assured by the owner, Blake, that if we kept their bimonthly service and saw any roaches, they would be there for us and take care of it. The initial service did reduce the population but we continued to see them. This month, a week before our bimonthly service, we canceled due to low funds. The next week we saw two roaches and called them the week they were supposed to service to come and spray. I explained to the receptionist that we had just canceled but needed them to come and we'd like to resume the bimonthly service. She said they would need to send someone out to give us a quote, which didn't make sense to us since we had just canceled. Josh came out and told us we'd need the original service we got a year ago. We explained that we had just canceled within the last two weeks and were due for our bimonthly service that week. He explained that the spraying doesn't work on the roaches and that we needed the original service that was $400. We told him that's not what Blake told us and he seemed flustered and went outside to call the office. When he came back he was short with us but said they could do the service for $200. We could tell he was frustrated and he said that's the service we would need. Between his reaction and the receptionist, we realized we had been lied to about the bimonthly service helping with roaches, which was the only bug we were worried about and Varsity knew this. I called the owner and left him a voicemail asking for a call back but he never called me. We're beyond frustrated that we paid for service for over a year and the roaches never fully went away. Also frustrated that they lied about the bimonthly spraying helping and the owner not calling us back. We will never use them again and are warning others about them.

I felt like he was honest in his recommendations and I felt comfortable with the product that he chose to use would be safe for my young family and pet. Incredible customer service -- and I appreciate that in between visits they will come back out if needed for free to reinspect if you see any bugs. Our first visit was less than $100 so I feel like that's a great value, considering that he walked the entire perimeter of our home with a broom and checked every nook and cranny luckily he only found two spider webs.
