On Trac lies about making delivery attempts. They have claimed to have made two attempts on different days to deliver a package and reported that "the business was closed". 1) it's not a business, it's a residence 2) we have cameras that reach the street and there is no evidence that on trac was even on my street, let alone in front of my home 3) there are delivery instructions clearly posted on my mailbox that they would have see, had they actually been there. There is no recourse because there is no customer service or means of complaint other than a lawsuit. Short Review : OnTrac is the WORST. Long Review : I place orders with walmart.com, homedepot.com, and other retailers who use OnTrac (despite my begging them to ship packages by any other carrier). So, here's the thing : OnTrac does have "normal" drivers and delivery personnel (believe it or not). I saw this with my own eyes, approximately 3 years ago. An actual, OnTrac delivery person showed up, (rang the bell - next to the permanent sign saying "Ring Bell for All Deliveries" at my office door) and handed me a package in perfect condition. She was polite, amiable, friendly, on-time, smart, upwardly mobile, well-spoken, and was wearing an "official" OnTrac shirt - complete with the OnTrac logo. I was stunned. This was the first (and only) time (in 40+ scheduled OnTrac deliveries) I saw a "normal" person. I asked her why this is and if she could explain why all other OnTrac deliveries are the way they are (eg notifications say "delivered," but packages are NOT; packages are often very mishandled, bashed, and damaged, no official driver shows up, misdeliveries, wrong address deliveries, orders are missing items, packages have been ripped open, delivery people seem random and let's just say rough around the edges (some appear to be living in the vehicle they are using to make deliveries), packages are hurled at the door, no one ever rings the bell (for deliveries), etc. She said OnTrac has "normal"/conventional drivers and a delivery workforce (like she is). Still, OnTrac utilizes random drivers who deliver stuff locally - Walmart, Home Depot, restaurants, etc. Not like Uber or Lyst (or Uber Eats, GrubHub, DoorDash, InstaCart, etc.). Those drivers officially work for those companies. They have vehicles in good running order, a sign for Uber or whatever on the car. They have GPS systems and scan in packages (like UPS, FedEx Ground, DHL, USPS do). There are checks and balances. On the other hand...The randos picking up and dropping off packages (and acting crazy) are NOT officially from OnTrac, Uber, Lyst, or anywhere else. They do not work at Home Depot, Ralphs, Walmart, or PetCo. They are free-lance drivers who drop stuff off. Who knows what they're paid? These individuals are ripping open packages, eating the food, keeping whatever they like, and claiming to deliver packages when they really haven't. etc. OnTrac is banking on the fact that most mega e-commerce online retailers (like Home Depot, Walmart, Sephora, Nordstrom, etc.) will cover the loss when the customer phones support to complain. OnTrac knows that these companies' customer service departments will either replace the item or process a refund. And I don't know if you're aware : In 2021, a company called LaserShip acquired OnTrac for $1.3 billion (ha!). What a joke. OnTrac expanded its territory across the US. They can't master the basics of reliable delivery on the West Coast, but they have decided to expand nationwide. Insanity. I've been waiting for a purchased ( paid for) parcel delivery via Ontrac. I received a message that the parcel was delivered... why did the Ontrac 'agent' lie to me ( rhetorical), however I was subsequently notified many hours later that the parcel was delivered to my address . Upon viewing the photo of the dropoff ( along with NOT receiving the package), the image showed that the dropoff was NOT my address but someone/somewhere else (crazy right). This story gets 'better'(NOT)!!! When I reached out to Ontrac customer service ( joke!!!!) I was told that the package was dropped off and there was nothing to be done about the situation. I attempted to explain to the 'agent' that the image of the property is not my address/not my house, etc etc...I was told that there was no recourse and to file a claim( I guess) if I had an issue with the delivery . My PAID for order is 'sitting' at someone else's house ( who knows where) because the Ontrac delivery driver gave ZERO... CARE about ensuring my package was delivered as addressed . Their contact Customer Service phone # 1 800 334 5000 is a bogus, non working phone #...for MANY months now!!! #1. Package #3 was a very well made shipping box from Walmart...the box shipped from Walmart, that has the shipping tape, with the thread that runs through the tape. Those boxes will NEVER bust open! Especially , in a two day shipping/delivery! The OnTrac driver cut open the box and went through the contents and even put scotch tape on one of the contents wrapper's!!! These are items shipped directly from Walmarts distribution warehouse!!! #2. package #2 OnTrac delivered...I was literally standing at my front door and the driver handed me a package that had been cut opened, a straight cut, not a rip. The driver was trying to hold my package contents inside the package, to avoid spilling anymore content out of the package. I asked the driver what happened to my package? Can you please check your vehicle for the rest of my contents....the driver didn't say a word!!! Got back in the vehicle and left!!! They don't wear any "OnTrac" identification and must be driving personal vehicle's...no OnTrac marking in the vehicles. A hoodie and a beanie on the guys head and baggy dirty jeans, and the driver and my packages reeked cigarette smoke. #3. package #1 was thrown over my neighbor's LOCKED driveway gate...but tracking said it was next to my garage, I don't have a garage!!! My address and my front porch are both VERY visible with no fences or gates to get to the front door. My neighbor found my ripped opened package strewn all over his 3 acre property and chewed on by his dog. There was also content in the road that a neighbor on a horse found, that had been ran over repeatedly by passing vehicles! My personalized information was still being found the next day! Stranger's calling and bringing me part of my contents of a package!!! OnTrac obviously doesn't SCREEN their drivers in Southern Utah...and will hire ANYONE off the street. OnTrac Lies, Deceives, Can't Deliver Packages Reliably. Zero Stars. When businesses contract with OnTrac it hurts their brand! Companies should stop using now! In November 2024, I ordered items from Adidas and Levis. Both orders were supposed to be delivered by OnTrac. OnTrac reported the Adidas sneakers as delivered but they never were. Then they reported the Levis jeans as being less than 30 minutes away in Pittsburgh PA and undeliverable for 21 days due to bad weather. There was no bad weather in our area that prevented deliveries. Adidas was helpful in resolving the missing delivery. Levis made me wait 10 business days without any contact/updates from OnTrac before issuing refund. Businesses that contract with OnTrac need to stop pushing the burden on consumers. You are taking our money and wasting our time. Your partnership with OnTrac is ruining your brand and reputation! I am writing to express my frustration and disingenuous service provided by OnTrac. 1. They provide unreliable service. Per my experience with two companies on two different orders. 2.
