Even the speed of the internet gave me a problem. Tech that did the install was on time. Cared about making sure everything thing was working and connected to WiFi before he left. ( Unlike the install with Spectrum) ONE DVR to program and if I am done in the bedroom, I can just pick up the dvred show in the kitchen where I left off. A remote that came with instructions unlike the one left by the other company. I have had UVerse for years in Michigan and so happy to be back as a customer. I just wonder why the apartment complex I live pushed Spectrum so much. Kick backs, friend sells it, or don't understand that ATT updated the lines so it comes out of the wall like cable. I don't stream shows, use on demand, or apps. Call me old fashion, I just want to see documentaries, news, and sports. Get to my email and info on the net. Have a home phone number with a corded phone to keep my account numbers safe. I trust a company that been around for a century and survived being broken apart but put itself back together.

My SPECTRUM wireless internet service is still totally unreliable, booting me out between (just in…read morethe last 10 days) between 14 and 30 times a day. This includes both televisions, my laptop, and even occasionally my iPhone. There is no rhyme or reason, it just happens, and while I am typically able to reconnect, that's not the service I'm paying for, which I am contractually required to acquire through my apartment property owner, as though it's a rent obligation. That itself is anti-competitive. Obviously I am not recieving anything close to SPECTRUM's promised, advertised, and contracted for 1GB service, which I have confirmed using SPECTRUM's own app. I believe on information and evidence that the reason for the constant outages is that SPECTRUM puts far too many nodes on the system, and then when a larger number of users are tapping bandwidth, it's insufficient to support the load. This is tantamount to communications FRAUD, in my view. I am filing a formal FCC complaint and another complaint with the Ohio Department of Commerce, Video Service Authorization Section. I hope there's a reasonable alterative to SPECTRUM, the most unreliable service I have ever had the displeasure to use. I'm old school and like to know that my traded in devices are received by a Verizon colleague. Longer than anticipated wait, multiple customers engaged with colleagues through the duration of my visit (approximately 30 minutes). Two colleagues working in front of customers but not engaging customers; this is not a good look when customers are waiting. Colleagues seemed to break engagement with customers multiple times during their time in the store.

I live out of state and couldn't help at this point. He went to the same Verizon store and they wouldn't help him and instead told him to take his brand new (phone purchased at that location) to an Apple store. He was confused and frustrated but finally managed to get to Apple, and they fixed his phone. My dad, who lives alone and has no land line, was left out in the cold with a bad phone by the same people whole were glad to take his money one week ago but weren't willing to switch phones or otherwise help. I wish we had just gone to the Apple store to get our phone.
