I wasn't convinced and called the folks at Herald's. Instead of trying to sell us anything, they put a repairman, Curtis, on the phone. After what I told him about the refrigerator, he diagnosed it and told me he'd order the part and have it installed in a couple of days. Their service, kindness, and professionalism was impeccable. The refrigerator is humming along for about 7% of what I would have paid for a new refrigerator. If you live in the Mount Vernon, Ohio and surrounding area, and you need a repairman, or a second opinion, come to Herald's. They'll treat you right.

There as a nice young man behind the counter and he said he would bring it up later that day, which he did. It was T. J. If you are interested in buying what they sell, please give this young couple a chance to sell and service it for you. The good staff will mainly stay the same and will share his goals. We wish T. J. and his wife much success with their new business venture. He really came through for u Susan Huggins/Fredericktown

Then given a delivery time of 7:30 - 11:30 am for December 2, 2025 then given a delivery time for December 3, 2025 anytime during the day. Then finally got tired of waiting made a call and given a delivery time of December 6, 2025 between 7:00am and 7:00 pm. Not one phone called to let me know that appointments had been cancelled. These people are so unprofessional, selling merchandise that they don't have in stock. I would have never purchased from Best Buy if I had known how unethical this company was. Just giving everyone else a heads up.

Best Buy used to be a place I really enjoyed looking around at everything before making purchases,…read morebut it's hard to do that anymore. When you first walk in they are already trying to grab you through the door asking what you need. They don't let you just tell them you want to look around. They start asking looking at what. You try to give a generic answer and they keep asking questions while you walk away. I literally had to just stop answering. Within 30 seconds of stopping to look at something I heard the door person telling a different salesperson what I said and they were over asking me more questions. I had to be semi-rude to get that person to not stay. We gave up on being able to just enjoy looking around and decided to just look at the Oura rings we came in for and were looking at colors for no more than 2 minutes when a third person came over. When we said we were just looking up stock they told us not to and radioed the second person to come back. With no time to really decide and two salespeople looking over our shoulders, we picked a color and one immediately went to go get them while the other just stood there until he saw the next person to hover over. Since we didn't really have a chance to talk over the color before they swarmed, we ended up changing our mind (not to mention it's hard to pick color when they don't actually have the product out, just pictures of them). When they didn't have that in stock, we took that as our out and just left. Now we can go someplace else and talk it over and make a decision before overly aggressive salespeople take all the fun out of actually making a purchase. People don't shop online for price, most places match prices. They shop online to avoid feeling attacked and pressured and not being able to just look around and figure out what they want alone.

The store manager, Zachary, was outstanding--truly a 5/5 experience…read more Unfortunately, my interaction with the Post Purchase Team was extremely disappointing. I don't write many reviews, and when I do--positive or negative--it's because the experience was significant. I make a point to remain respectful and constructive, but this situation warrants direct feedback. My wife and I travel frequently for work and needed a replacement laptop immediately. She located one at this store and placed an order for one-hour pickup. Given the higher price point, the credit card company requested verification, which we fully understand and promptly completed. At this time the payment had been processed and the laptop was onsite!!! We were then connected with the Post Purchase Team. Despite the issue being resolved, the representative and their manager, Ssyed, refused to allow the store to release the laptop. This was particularly frustrating because the store manager confirmed there were two physically available units and was willing to provide one. Instead, we were told we would need to wait until the 17th for fulfillment--despite the product already being in stock at that location. As travelers, we may not even be in town by then, making this solution impractical. Additionally, Ssyed declined to provide a last name and was unwilling to deviate from scripted responses, repeating the same information without addressing the situation. This lack of flexibility and problem-solving made an already frustrating experience worse. For context, the majority of my company's expenses are with Walmart, Home Depot, and Best Buy. Experiences like this directly influence where we choose to do business. If not for Zachary's professionalism and willingness to help, I would strongly consider moving future electronics purchases elsewhere. Brick-and-mortar retailers already face increasing competition, and employees like Ssyed do little to inspire confidence in Best Buy's ability to retain customer loyalty.

After sitting outside for 30 min before open and then another 10 inside we found out they had nothing left by watching 4-5 people walk up to the counter to immediately leave with nothing in hand. A simple heads up for the line of "we have x amount of this and y amount of that" would go a long way in people possibly returning. Leaving a line there knowing you don't have enough for everyone and not communicating that is unprofessional.

Just not impressed- but we already have a Costco membership, so if you don't belong to a warehouse club already it might be a good option for you. Stopped in one last time to see if previous experiences were outliers. I just find the prices to be the same or higher than Costco, and often the same as any old grocery store. Today milk and eggs were the same (or more expensive) than Kroger. Very small prepared food section compared to Costco. Lots of clothes for little kids, but nothing up past size 7 that I saw. There were a few clearance things that had okay prices, but nothing else stood out. I got a bulk container of snacks, just because I wanted that particular thing, but almost left at checkout because the price was just not great. Service is fine. I like the aisle signage. They have smaller packages than Costco for some things, which works out better sometimes. Parking and access is good. Not busy at all at noon on a weekday; Costco is always busy and gets crazy at peak. Odd to see a store with so few customers and so many open checkout lanes. So, that's good for you getting in and out, but doesn't bode well for the company. It just doesn't work for us. Farther away than Costco, costs the same or more, doesn't have anything that makes it worth a special trip.
