Visited on July 4th, 2021 specifically to purchase an iPhone 12 128Mb phone. Was told that our…read moreiPhone X, which had significant pixel damage was not eligible for trade-in. Was also told that I couldn't purchase the phone I wanted outright due to store policy. I acquiesced to this condition, considering no interest on the amount and the likelihood of remaining with T-Mobile anyway. Shortly after, the sales representative presented a contract which included monthly insurance, which was not mentioned until I asked about it. The sales representative again said that it was store policy that new phones not leave the store without insurance and that we could cancel the insurance as soon as we left the store. Opted to not purchase the phone through this T-mobile store and instead purchased an iPhone 12 128Mb phone through the Apple Store at Easton. Paid outright for the same price as T-Mobile. $55 trade-in credit for our iPhone X. No insurance required. The T-Mobile franchise store policy here prevented sale of an $1100 phone and prompted this negative review. So glad I didn't purchase a phone here.
