They took about 1 hour to move an organized small studio and just under 2 hours to move my lesser organized 1 BR. The bulk our time was spent at our new building which required more travel time between the truck and the unit. These guys were optimal and had excellent strategizing and problem solving across all three buildings (which were all different). They were also thorough in minimizing damage to our belongings via wrapping and care. This team set a new standard for me and I'd hire them again.

When a week before our move we needed to change a date by two weeks because of construction delays, that was not a problem. When at the last minute we asked if we can add a piano to the list of moved items, that was fine as well. But most importantly was the care the guys took with our items! They wrapped every piece in the soft blanket and added plastic wrapping outside to keep in place. They stacked items in the way that nothing would get damaged. On delivery, they were on time and moved everything to designated rooms and assembled everything we needed! No scratches or damages in the house when moved out or moved in! All the horror stories I heard from friends who have moved before and I was so worried about - not the case with this team! Highly recommend!

Every experience I've had with this company has been professional, efficient, and stress-free. I especially want to recognize Roger and Anthony. These two are absolute beasts. We had an extremely difficult move with multiple stops, heavy furniture, tight spaces, and a very long day. They never once sat down, took a break, or slowed their pace. They worked hard from the moment they arrived until the very last item was unloaded, all while staying positive, professional, and taking great care of our belongings. What impressed me most wasn't just how hard they worked--it was the pride they took in the job. They hustled all day without cutting corners, communicated well, and made what could have been an incredibly stressful move feel easy. If you're looking for movers, stop searching and book West Coast Moving. On moving day, the three-person crew arrived right on time. After a quick walkthrough of the items to be moved, they got to work immediately. At our new home, they took the time to lay down floor protection before bringing in any furniture, which gave us peace of mind knowing our newly remodeled floors were being protected. The only challenge was a stubborn screw on one of our bed frames that simply wouldn't come loose. The team quickly brought it to my attention and talked through several possible solutions with me. In the end, they safely moved three-quarters of the bed frame, and my husband planned to remove the remaining section later. I appreciated their honesty and problem-solving rather than forcing it and risking damage. The crew worked efficiently, handled our furniture with care, and completed the entire move in just 3 hours and 15 minutes. They were friendly, hardworking, and professional from start to finish. We highly recommend JC Express Movers. Their communication, professionalism, attention to protecting our new home, and efficient service made our move a smooth and positive experience.

Moving: the two movers, Herman and Aleksei, were incredibly efficient and very sweet/patient throughout the move. I appreciate that they handled both my expensive & economical items delicately. Also, I wasn't completely prepared on my end with the move such as knowing details like where to park for loading/unloading or even which items to move vs discard, which I had been dreading for weeks. However, thanks to their expertise and versatility, the move was stress-free. And a huge shoutout to Herman for his guidance and coordination that really ensured a seamless experience. Paid a little over 2.5k to move a 630 sq ft 1b/1b 3 miles and had 3, and eventually 4 movers. Overall I'd say it was good, not great When I scheduled I explained I had two walkins with lots of clothes - they assigned me three people when I likely needed more as I had a walkup. We ended up totally missing the window for the move which is more my fault but I had asked the people who confirmed if they felt it was reasonable. They helped move the hanging items (which I expect) and had me pitch in to pack the glass despite having asked for them to send someone to do this. It's not an issue but I do think there was a general lack of communication bw the movers and the ppl who helped book that made the day less efficient than it could have been. I'm happy to pack those things as it gave me an outlet for my moving anxiety and saves me time ofc but even without packing glass it still took 9 hours When I realized we were pretty behind it was very easy to get someone else last minute at noon, so that was helpful and everyone coordinated quickly to make it happen. All the guys were also very respectful and carefully wrapped my furniture (table, 4 chairs, coffee and side table, large tv, bed and heavy lifting frame, chair desk and small wine fridge). I think I have a lot crammed in to a 1B and was overall a good experience, though not quite as smooth or efficient as my previous SF moves Pros: Crew is friendly Didn't break anything, including my fancy stemware Cleaned up after themselves removing wrap and paper Very efficient by helping me add an extra mover at a reasonable cost ($50hr) Cons: Timing ended up being totally off :( not their fault completely but I tried to communicate several times during booking I had a small elevator window and a lot of stuff Pretty pricey for a 1 bed 3 mile move

Additionally, one of our TV mounts was lost. We notified the movers shortly after (a day) and was told by the owner that their crew checked the trucks and did not have it. I was told specifically from Dan that the moving trucks get cleaned out at the end of the day after every move. After they told us they didn't have it, we went out to buy the same exact mount. 5 days later, it was found in their trucks. The communication around this whole situation was very frustrating for me and my wife. She got in contact with the owner via phone call to try to rectify the situation. What was agreed on was to comp us for the repurchasing of the same mount and $100 to a cracked table. Days later, the owner changed his mind and refused to comp for the mount. Tried to argue that we somehow should have waited even after they told us they didn't have it, 5 days after the move. Then told us that we had somehow should have chosen the cheapest mount. Mind you, we purchased same exact mount we lost -- yet we were told they will only comp us for the "cheapest" mount available. My wife had to point out that they explicitly told us they couldn't find it, are we expected to just wait? And apparently we should have known to purchase the cheapest one somehow? This whole thing is dragged on unnecessarily.
