    Pad Thai

Small joint with ample seating. It's a good spot to go to for lunch or casual dinner. The service was really good and the staff were friendly. I ordered a pad Thai and the food came out within 10 minutes. The food was decent, not the best I've ever had but definitely not the worst. I'd come back here for the convenience and decent prices.

This restaurant never disappoints and I love the way they customize the dish as per your taste ( we normally say no sugar spicy food) and they dis what we asked for.

Got their take out mango sticky rice for my work shift and it was amazing! I would definitely reorder Did a group order with a bunch of my co workers and they were raving about their dishes they ordered as well. We often order here at least once a week together. Great place to order out and planning to keep doing so in the future!

I just moved into the neighborhood and have been itching to find my local Thai spot! This is the kind of neighborhood spot you keep in your back pocket. It's fast, flavorful, and reliably good without trying too hard. I ordered takeout and was honestly impressed by how well everything traveled and held up (although I only live a block away) The pad thai was solid -- not overly sweet (which is a common pitfall), with a nice tang from the tamarind. It even had some spice which I personally love in a pad thai. The noodles were the right texture and it actually had some wok char, which I appreciated. Definitely a delicious option. The basil fried rice was probably my least favorite of the three. It was fragrant and spicy, but veryyy salty compared to the other two dishes I got. The pad see ew was rich and savory, with that slightly smoky edge you want from stir-fried flat noodles. The sauce was nicely balanced and the noodles weren't sitting in a pool of oil. The Chinese broccoli had a nice crunch, and the beef was tender. Ordering was easy (I ordered on their website), service was friendly, and pickup was super smooth. The inside is pretty small, more of a takeout-focused spot, but clean and efficient. It's not reinventing the wheel, but One Two Thai knows what it's doing and I will definitely be back!!

Coworkers and I went for group lunch. We got the lunch special which was an appetizer and entree for 13.99 or 14.99 depending on which protein. I got shumai and chicken pad Thai. They were ok.

Came here for dinner with friends and it's a great casual spot for Thai food in Murray Hill! Since we came in a big group, we had to wait for some friends who showed up late and their staff was SO kind and patient with us (very grateful). My friends and I got their wonton soup, khao soi, pad kra pao, and pad kee mao. Everything was delicious. Their portions were huge for the price (everything ranged from $12-$16!) and it was a steal. Each dish was packed full of flavor and hit the comforting spot that I was craving for when eating Thai food. They also have a great happy hour, and I would love to come back here with friends!

Ordered take out. Drunken noodle shrimp I didn't order the lunch size but it came with very small container. It has 5 shrimps that was good. But after eating 5 shrimp the 2/3 of food was gone. Chive pancake This one was good. Just the normal chive pancake I always get. It came with 7 pieces.

Ordered takeout here. Portion size is solid. The drunken noodle is listed as spicy but the spice is simply black pepper. A lot of it.

(Overall: B) - One Two Thai is a value option with quick service and acceptable quality food. The staff and kitchen were speedy and attentive, and the experience was overall pleasant, barring some possible minor technical improvements. (Pad See Ew: B) - This $16 Pad See Ew with Beef is a value option compared to most of the pricing in NYC. I loved the authentic forward sweet soy flavors of this dish, which is enhanced by the impressive wok hay and large portions. I felt that the beef was oscillating between tender and borderline dry, and the chinese broccoli to be cut insufficiently thin such that the stem is still too fiberous. Aside from these minor flaws, the dish is pretty good. -- Food: E Presentation: E Price: +1 Atmosphere: E Service: +1 Menu: E Overall: +2 B Insta/Beli/TikTok: @amei_eats

3.5/5, +.5 for service Small neighbourhood Thai joint in East Midtown-ish area. I'm normally more adventurous when it comes to selecting places to eat, but sometimes it's nice going to a not-so-famous place and get good value from the food you eat. Not much in terms of ambiance here, it's just cheap, fill you up, and out you go. I had the chicken drunken noodles here. I requested medium spicy, and honestly it was quite spicy. However I still really liked the flavour and the portions were perfect given the price paid. Service was excellent here, a bit contrasting to the other reviews I see. It's certainly not the best Thai food I've ever had, but it does its job if you don't have time for those popular, more expensive joints.

PRO - Food taste and price CONs- ambience , atmosphere , service Google - 4.5 Yelp - 4.2 First timer . Was near 32nd street and googled for a Thai restaurant, and found this one with 4.5 stars .. of course I believed Google and I went right in .. the place was kinda cramped . There was some construction on the entrance .. there were 4-6 small tables and 2-3 large tables . .. Service was hopeless . The guy comes and almost demands us to order . We asked him some questions and he wasn't patient to answer . The other lady was patient and listened. Ordered lunch specials .. Lunch specials were good . For about 12$ it was good and worth . Food was overall very good . Veggie spring roles were good . I ordered Pad Thai and it was good . Veggie fried rice was also good. .liked the food overall. Quantity was a little less but it was ok for a perfect lunch . If not for service and ambience this would have got 4.5/5 ..

Quality appears to have deteriorated over time; ordered chicken Bangkok noodles for pick up- food was marked as ready for pickup within 2 minutes of my placing the order at 830p - literally before I had a chance to put my phone in jacket pocket- which is great in terms of speed, but one really needs to wonder if quality was sacrificed. It's supposed to have Chinese broccoli but there were only two flimsy half pieces at the bottom- a few pieces of scallion (literally scallion is $1for 2 bunches, so...) and definitely less than 10 pieces of sprout, the broad noodles weren't long continuous strips, but very scrappy short pieces - basically the scraps. Way too salty. The kitchen definitely rushed with this order. No wonder it was ready within 2 minutes of placing the order. Likely won't be coming back.

Considering the hectic 48hrs of non-stop traveling and celebrations, I would've been satisfied with a simple takeout meal to end the weekend but to my surprise, one of the best experiences of the trip was yet to come. Thankfully I was blessed with great friends to recommend this exceptional establishment known as Mitr Thai in Midtown Manhattan. Though the trip was centered around a wedding, my experience here instantly became the highlight of my trip to the City. One very genuine friend arranged this dinner, making a reservation for 3 for 7:30pm. To our surprise, we actually made it from Connecticut, walked from Grand Central and to Mitr Thai at 7:25pm even though they won't seat you until your entire party is there. After passing through the scaffolding, the restaurant has a two-door entry, one host after another, leading to a quaint but alluring lobby area. We were greeted by both hosts even though we were bogged down with luggage. The space was welcoming and had a sense of elegance as there was a blend of hardwood furnishings, low lighting and a heavy dose of Thai art/fixtures. For context: Labor Day Monday, at 7-8pm, there was a steady demand as the waiting bench remained full. There were even guests standing but even as more people came in, people were being seated at a consistent rate. Our 3rd friend arrived closer to 8pm and we were seated immediately. Our bags were placed in a small room behind the host podium and we were seated 20-30 meters from the door along the wall facing the bar. The menus were very comprehensive: large, descriptive and filled with graphics that left me wondering if I could try it all. I couldn't praise our server (Mindy) enough. She knew the kitchen, bar and any/all offerings like her own name. She had individual recommendations for each of us AND ADDITIONAL OPTIONS. I listened, ordered the Short Rib Prik Kang and indulged in a Verdant Whisper (Tequila, Cucumber, Lime). I'm not sure how but our food arrived less than 15mins later! The short rib looked good enough to make the entire restaurant jealous: the curry paste glistened in the light, the aroma called my name while the garnishes winked at me. To my disbelief, as good as it looked, it tasted even better! The sauce was robust, smooth, creamy & just spicy enough. Since the ribs slid off the bone, I mixed in the white mixed rice and ate it as a meal. I can proudly say I've never had anything like it. Oh yeah, the cocktail? Smooth, refreshing and relaxing. Worth every penny. I was elated with the overall experience and chose to pay for both of my friend's meals. My only regret is not having more to tip! Mindy gave us the table to chat for another 30mins but in the back of my mind I was still enamored from the meal. I had no expectations when I entered Mitr Thai but I left with a sincere amount of praise and admiration. From cuisine to the hospitality down to the furnishings, dining here was one of the best overall experiences I've had in YEARS. I cannot say enough about this establishment and I hope they Always Strive & Prosper.

I came here with a group of six on a weeknight with no reservations. We were seated immediately on the second floor. The restaurant had a chic, sophisticated interior, with black and gold accents and wood furniture. A large spiral fringe chandelier hung from the ceiling. While the environment indeed was upscale, the food still retained that cozy, home-cooked element known to Thai cuisine. I split the short rib curry and pork cheek with my husband. The curry was creamy with a kick of heat. The beef pull-apart tender. I'm salivating just thinking about it now. The pork cheek was delicious as well. It had the taste and texture of pork belly, which paired splendidly with the sweet and tangy fish sauce it came with. Others from my party ordered the masaman curry and a type of noodle (I think it was the pad kee mao?), and they all approved of their dishes. The drinks were wonderful as well, so distinctly Thai and inventive. I highly doubt you'll find anything here that isn't excellent.

Not all midtown restaurants stay open past 10, and I was relieved to find their kitchen going strong at that hour, as well as their dining space, which was full. Turned out it was for good reason because their food was delicious. My friend and I were hoping to eat at a restaurant nearby specializing in crab, but they closed much earlier. Fortunately for us, SaiTong's menu had plenty of crab on it, and we decided to double up and make each of our entree's a crab one. The black spaghetti crab curry and crab curry noodles advertised themselves as being very different dishes in both presentation and ingredients but ended up tasting kind of similar. One was topped with deep fried crab and used a different type of noodle than the other, but the sauces were so similar. This is not to say that they didn't taste good, but I would've preferred more variance. I'm glad we got an order of papaya salad to cut the richness of the other dishes, and I also appreciated it had a nice level of heat in it. Our servers were really friendly without being overbearing, and let us linger for a bit even after we paid the bill, as it was their last seating for the evening. There are so many excellent Thai restaurants in the city and I'd put SaiTong firmly in the category of perfectly solid spots to get your Thai fix, with some special dishes on the chef's menu worth checking out.

The broth was so delectable, and it was honestly the best broth that I have ever had. The portions were also incredible, especially for the price and being in the city! Once we received the check, we noticed that next to the Pho Bó, it stated that it is Michelin Recommended, and we completely understand why! We are looking forward to going back!

Stopped by The Thonglor New York for dinner and ordered the pad kra pow with a fried egg on top…read more The egg is definitely a must for this dish! As a Thai person myself and as indicated on their menu, it's the way most Thais eat this dish :) The fried egg added that rich, runny element that really brings everything together. The veggies were nicely sautéed, fresh and still crisp, and there was a good amount of ground pork, so the dish felt hearty and satisfying rather than rice-heavy. Overall, the flavors were solid and comforting, though I personally found it just a touch sweeter than I prefer for pad kra pow. Even so, it definitely hit the spot and was very satisfying for a late-night craving. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience pleasant overall. One thing to keep in mind though is timing - if you're dining closer to closing, you may feel a bit rushed toward the end of your meal. All in all, a solid option for Thai food! I'd come back again (probably earlier next time) and would be interested in trying more dishes from the menu.

Ordered takeout, was NEEDING pad thai after a night out. This didn't exactly hit the spot though…read more For being one of the most popular dishes...it's just mid. Not worth $20. The flavor is sweet with a heavy red hue to it. I typically like my pad thai on the browner side if that makes sense. The peanuts add more depth of flavor for sure but it could also use a bit of spice and should've came with a lime wedge to cut the sweetness. Great portion size though & takeout service was fast. Also beware if you don't like tofu as it comes in the eggs that they add to the dish.
