I definitely get the hype about this place. It's extremely clean Huge outdoor patio It's really pretty inside with their color scheme and chandelier The case with all the beautiful desserts are so clean you can see your reflection lol Everyone comes here to see the robot (all the times my friends have came here they haven't seen it make a drink. And unfortunately, I only saw it wave. It's still REALLY cool though honestly) They have a nice brunch and lunch menu Portions are pretty large. Which is a plus in my book They do have free serve yourself spa infused water However, no matter how good a place is, I will not return if the service is bad. I walked up to the counter to place my order, and David did not even look up at me. Did not say hi, did not say I'll be with you shortly, did not acknowledge me, period. This actually really upset me to the point I almost left. Only reason I stayed is because I was meeting a friend here. After standing here for a while, another worker came out and took my order. (I sat there and watched David take other orders, acknowledged other customers, checked on other people but never once helped me) I understand if David was off the clock or something. But he still could have said welcome in, hello or etc. Before writing this review, I actually read some of the bad ones. And a lot mentioned how rude he was. So I'm very surprised the owner has not pulled him aside Everything would have been great if the service was better. There was one amazing waitress and I believe her name was Jasmine. She was extremely sweet 5 stars for how clean and cute the place is 5 stars for the taste of food and large portion 0 stars for the cheesecake. I tried 3 different ones and did not like them. I did not make a fuss and try to return them. 0 stars for service (David) so unfortunately I will not return. Also, this place does get very crowded and loud. So just a heads up
Came here to meet my dad for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Got there around 9 so it wasn't too busy. Service was quick. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We got the steak and eggs, Americano, avocado toast with an egg, and a lucky charms matcha. Everything tasted great. I wanna come back go try their desserts/pastries next time. Cute spot to try!
I had to take care of something in the area and yelped a place to get coffee/ matcha. This place popped up and it had good review ratings so, I decided to check it out. Staff are nice. There was a line when I went, but it moved fast. One of the drinks that were recommended to me was the Cinnamon Oat Latte. I love cinnamon so how bad could the drink be? I liked the crushed ice it came with but the drink tasted odd. It was strange and the flavor was not good. Not something I would recommend nor order again, but luckily they have a wide variety to choose from - coffee and matcha. They also have a large selection of food, as well.
Cafe in the Downey Promenade next to the theater. 1st time here. They have seats inside and outside. There's no table service. You order at the counter, get a number and they bring your food. Food portions were pretty good. I shared with my dtr and we still had food to go. The French toast was crispy and filled with creme. The creme was not too sweet. The crepes were delicious too. Ordered the pesto and stroganoff. The pesto was a lil salty for my taste but my dtr said it was fine. The stroganoff was very delicious. Good meat and sauce ratio. Would order that again. Matchas: Blue matcha and banana matcha. Sorry but this was a miss for us. We love matcha and they both tasted really artificial. Not enough matcha. The banana matcha tasted like artificial banana flavor and the blue matcha tasted like vanilla latte. We might come back for the food but unfortunately not the matcha. Maybe their coffee-based drinks are good but wouldn't recommend the matcha if you're a true matcha-connoisseur. As far as the customer service, I think it was a manager or something but he was very attentive and made sure we were good. Thank you for that!
This cafe is so cute! They have Tom, a robot, making your coffee! I got a Chai latte and they can put any design you want on top! We ordered a crepe, club sandwich, a Dubai croissant, and the infamous mango dessert. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

First time here and definitely not the last! The spicy chicken Alfredo is hands down one of the best pastas I've had. It does have a little kick to it but if you like spicy you'll enjoy this dish(: It's a cute little cafe that offers a variety of options to choose from from breakfast, lunch and dinner items. The pastries are so delicious! Tried the mango mousse for the first time and I can't wait to be back to try all the other fruit mousses! The cheesecakes are so well made and they offer a good amount of options for flavors. The service here and at The Olive are top tier and they really take care of their customers (: I had the pleasure of being helped by Bryan who was so kind and helpful with any questions I had.
So I had to come see what all the commotion was about I came on a Friday morning and it was actually pretty packed -- I guess a lot of people called out that day I ended up trying their banana matcha and I absolutely loved it! For my meal, I got the Chipotle Steak Benedict. It was okay... I'd probably give it a 6/10. I feel like something was missing from the dish. And of course, I couldn't leave without trying dessert I got the lemon cake and it actually tasted how lemon is supposed to taste -- super lemony, tangy, and sour in the best way possible. It was really good! And the restaurant aesthetic was very cute. I felt very welcome and the customer service was 100! I liked it. They're very creative with this little croissant cake.! but I definitely do wanna come back and try the rest of their desserts and they're in their dish of course..
One Twelve Cafe is definitely the 'posh' spot in town. The line moved fast, which was great, though the staff seemed a little rushed and hurried us through the process once it was our turn. The Scoop on the Sweets: * Biscoff Cookie Cheesecake: 10/10. Definitely order this. * The Fruit Mousse Desserts: These are stunning and very trendy, but they didn't quite hit the same flavor high as the cheesecake for me. * The Vibe: Beautiful outdoor seating area--perfect for a sunny day. I'll be back to try their actual kitchen menu next time, but for a quick dessert run, it's a solid (and very pretty) choice!
Came here on a Friday around 12 fairly busy already. But service was good even for to go orders. Ordered a iced vanilla latte it was on the stronger coffee side. The chocolate muffin i asked for it warm but wasn't fully warmed up inside was cold. The flaky berry pastry was super sweet but well toasted. The matcha original was good. All in all good for a one time try.

One Twelve Caffe was such a gem. Upon entering you're greeted with the nicest staff inside this well lit gorgeous cafe that almost feels magical. Thank you Bryan for being so helpful and answering all of my group's questions. I was able to try a lot of different menu items and I couldn't tell you one I didn't like. I thought the panini was delicious as well as their pesto pasta. The pesto sauce was soo good. I would come back just for the pasta. Plus those drinks are super cute and you can choose the milk of your choice. I like all the different options they have. It is a pretty extensive menu for drinks, food, and pastries which is crazy to me since everything I had tasted so good as well.
Great place to study with friends. Spacious and cute decor. I had the kids breakfast and peach matcha for breakfast and tuna salad for lunch. Tuna salad was a huge portion for a great price. Friends and I really enjoyed the fruit desserts. We had the banana, pear, and mango. All exceptional. Loved the fruit filling. Service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and polite. Bryan really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Service was 100 stars.

This is such a lovely cafe. I am in love with their breakfast food. My favorite is probably their Dubai chocolate and the chipotle steak Benedict. All the dishes was presented nicely and taste so flavorful. They also make a nice matcha strawberry with customizable design print. I got the super cute hello kitty for my lovely drink. Gorgeous place and it's co owned with the Olive restaurant next door. Parking is a beast but if you do find one it's open area. Menu is on the pricey side for a cafe. Crepes are $21, coffee ranges from $8-$10, desserts are $9-$13 and the hummus plate was $14. Service is awful. The girl at the register didn't know what flavors was in the cinnamon roll latte, or the toasted marshmallow- is it a mocha or not ? The food is always good. I've come here several times with friends and my husband. We like to sit outside. It's a hybrid service situation where you order at the counter, but they bring the food to you. The service has been friendly, professional, and efficient. I usually get the chilaquiles, which does not disappoint. Three photos are attached of those, breakfast platter, and crêpe. My only complaint is that the seating is limited and it's on the pricey side compared to other breakfast places we frequent. read more

The food was amazing! We got the veggie lover's pasta, the caprese panini, and the tuna melt. I had the caprese panini, which had a perfect ratio of tomato, mozzarella, and greens; the balsamic dressing was light and didn't overpower the sandwich. All of our dishes came in a beautiful presentation! Our meals were accompanied by a green sauce that was so addicting. Our order was ready and delivered to our table within 10 minutes, which was surprisingly fast! I recently checked out One Twelve Cafe (not the R&B group ), and it was actually really cute! We went around 11am, and they let us know we could also sit at The Olive since their patios are connected, which was a nice option. You order and pay first, which I personally like it just makes things easier. One of the coolest parts was the robot arm that makes the coffee, definitely fun to watch. The pastries were adorable and looked so good. We tried the espresso bean, banana, strawberry, and mango (which we've had before), and honestly, all of them were delicious--mango was still our favorite. I ordered a cinnamon oat latte, and it was actually really good--definitely something I'd get again. I also tried the rojo chilaquiles with sunny side up eggs. I'm glad I tried them, but they weren't really for me. They were a bit dry, and the flavor just wasn't my preference. That said, it wouldn't stop me from coming back. I can only say great things about this cafe. The interior is beautifully designed with clear attention to detail, making it truly eye-pleasing. The displayed pastries looked fresh and inviting. We stopped by after a weekend at the convention center, needing some real good breakfast food before we traveled on. The Chilaquiles was absolutely phenomenal. (I got the green sauce!) My friend got a breakfast burrito. Both plates were filled to the brim with so many different flavors that married so well together in your mouth, it left me wanting to lick my plate, but I didn't want to embarrass the staff! Haha! Speaking of the staff, they were a treat, very friendly and made me laugh. The robot barista did little dances when it was idle. Super cute! Also, the infused water of the day was pink grapefruit. (I hate grapefruit, but this was also delicious, GOOD JOB, One Twelve!!!) We are ordering some pastries to go, but they are indeed fresh, and were informed they are made in-house, as they had hired a chef to personally teach them how to make their desserts! Let me just say eating here was sensational and customer service was sweet and nice always checking in on Us if we need anything! Walking in you can smell the aroma of coffee and the desserts galore! Theres so many to choose from I dined here for brunch and I loved it so much I will definitely be coming back with my girls! The food was amazing and delicious so yummy it filled my tummy with happiness! 10/10 recommend a place to bring your friends or family even a girl day out is the best place here. This beautiful cafe was quite an experience once you walk into the cafe, there is so much eye candy in the fancy interior! From the robot barista, the fruit infused water, to all the yummy looking baked goods and desserts. Everything we got was so delicious: -Biscoff cookie latte: this is one of their more popular drinks and I got this hot. The drink was so smooth and tasty if you like coffee. You can taste the roasted beans and the oat milk complimented the flavor. They use fresh beans so every coffee order is balanced! The cute hello kitty art was a nice touch :) -Banana matcha: Got this iced and it was tasty! You can taste both of the banana cream and matcha. Very balanced drink. Each coffee drink had a unique latte art on top and loved the flower details on top!! -Short rib panini: omg... the pulled braised beef was SO tender! They did not skimp on the short rib and it melted so nicely with the Swiss cheese. We were very impressed with this one and would definitely order this again. -Spicy chicken pasta: this one looked popular as other tables ordered this as well. I can see why! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was creamy and on the thicker side. It's also got a mild kick without it being too spicy. The portion size is big and had leftovers. -Desserts: the lemon mousse cake was our favorite! Dipped in white chocolate, the inside had lemon mousse, lemon puree, and lemon chunks. Perfectly tarte and sweet! The pistachio macaroon was also very tasty and perfectly baked for a soft and chewy bite. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience. Really loved the gold accents everywhere! Even the bathroom was on point! Its a order first and then find your own seating coffee/food shop. The baked croissants just looked amazing and wish i got a croissant sandwich instead but i got the chicken pesto crepe and that did not disappoint! My daughter got the chocolate croissant and it was too decadent but i know she loved it. But she ended up eating all my chicken because she liked it so much! I wish it had fresh squeezed oJ. Disappointing that it was a bottle tropicana... gross. But other than that the servers would check in on us and gave us water when asked! So it was great! Saw this cafe when I went to Bar Louie the night before so I decided to stop by the next morning. First off, everyone is so kind! I love good service. It was clean and spacious inside and they also had outside seating. I tried their strawberry matcha and an iced white mocha and wow. I might have found my new coffee spot. This place is definitely worth the drive. I also tried the breakfast burrito and it was incredible! I'm looking forward to trying their pastries and sneaking them into the movie theater! read more

First time visiting, was excited to try this place out for the matcha but David's customer service was very off putting. He looked very unhappy to be there and seemed annoyed overall to be taking our order, when mishearing us he kept repeating "what??" "what??" while taking our order instead of "sorry I didn't hear that". Had 3 different people from my party get their orders taken by him and they all had the same experience by the same exact cashier. This spot is a one-stop shop with a diverse menu, located in Downey Landing near the cinema. I came across it while searching for coffee options and was drawn in by its menu. One of its standout features is a robotic arm that makes espresso shots, though it was unfortunately out of service due to a software update, so I didn't get to see it in action. The interior is stylish and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by Brian, the manager, who was in the middle of training a new employee. As he took my order, he carefully explained each step to the trainee, which I appreciated. I ordered a hot Biscoff Cookie Latte in a large size. If you want to upgrade any drink from regular to large, it's just an additional $1. While waiting, I browsed their selection of pastries and other menu items. As I was exploring, the trainee personally delivered my drink, but it was a regular size instead of a large. When I pointed it out, they quickly realized the mistake, apologized, and promptly corrected my order. Since it was raining, I was really looking forward to a comforting cup of coffee, and overall, it delivered. The best part was that the latte wasn't overly sweet, despite the Biscoff cookie flavor. I expected a stronger Biscoff cookie flavor, but it was quite subtle, mostly tasting of vanilla. I also wished the drink had been hotter. Maybe next time, I'll ask if they offer an "extra hot" option. Will be definitely going back with kids to try their other menu options. read more

This cafe has become our favorite spot. From the first time we tried it we fell in love with the coffee, pastries and food! Everyone there is so friendly, helpful and very attentive. The coffee, food and pastries are made to perfection and that's why we keep going back. We have made it a thing to go at least once a week (I'm on maternity leave so I do stop by for coffee more than once a week ) the olive is next door and they are the same owners believe and that food is also so so good. The cafe has this green sauce that is sooo good paired with the burrito it had us asking for more sauce! Bryan is so friendly, welcoming and he really makes you feel like you're family! One Twelve instantly delivers that elevated, luxury feel the second you walk in. The gold detailing all around the shop is wild -- it's polished, modern, and gives the whole place this upscale shine you don't see often. And listen... the bathroom alone? That's a whole experience by itself. The attention to detail is crazy. The food took everything even higher. The fresh fruit flavors were vibrant and refreshing -- you can taste that everything is made with real, quality ingredients. Presentation was flawless: bright colors, clean plating, and every dish visually popped before you even took a bite. I've visited 112 Café three times this month and it's only mid-month! I truly appreciate the offering of macadamia milk on the menu. I enjoyed the turmeric chai latte twice and decided to try the blue Matcha today. Brian's service is impeccable and his energy is very positive. I also dined in yesterday for brunch. I liked the ratatouille crêpe. My plus one ordered the stuffed French toast, and we shared turkey bacon, Coffee cake, cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was a birthday compliment mostly because my birthday is 1-12. So far everything tastes good, if not great. This café is upscale, and I foresee them needing to expand to another suite. The beautiful white (quartz or marble) Stone on tables and counters is the highlight of the decor. This business touts the first robotic barista in California. It's kind of cool to see it in action. If I'm being honest, I love 1-2-F Cafe in Downey. This place isn't even close to my house, but if it were, it would easily be my go-to spot for breakfast, brunch, and honestly even lunch. First of all, their matcha is a must. They use ceremonial-grade matcha and it's thick, creamy, and so smooth--exactly how matcha should be. And they're the only spot around that can print customized photos on your drink foam, which is such a fun touch. Of course, I had to go with my approved logo because this place is 100% approved by me. The food is always consistently delicious. They have everything from classic breakfast plates to crepes, plus desserts that are genuinely gourmet-level. And don't even get me started on the steak--it's cooked medium well and hits the spot perfectly every time. It's also super family-friendly, with high chairs available, so you can bring the whole family and know even the kids will enjoy it. And whatever you do, do not skip the desserts. One Twelve is truly a place that radiates light and happiness from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm, uplifting, and you can immediately feel the passion the team pours into both their work and their food. Every detail, from the service to the pastries, reflects genuine care and love. The cherry tart was an absolute standout perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. Their cheesecakes are also worth raving about: rich, creamy, and so thoughtfully crafted that every bite feels indulgent without being overwhelming. While we were beyond impressed with what we tried, we already know we'll be back soon for the lemon tart and to explore more of their coffee selections. The food and specialty coffee drinks were amazing! Highly recommend the biscoff cookie latte. Fun fact: they have California's first robot barista, and his name is Tom. Make sure to watch him working his magic. Service was just as wonderful. Very friendly and attentive staff. From the title, you'd think it was nothing more than a cafe with pastries but they've got a FULL menu with a variety of dishes. I will definitely return. read more
