Came to Disneyland & totally forgot our stroller; so I looked all over online for someone that wasn't charging an arm & a leg for a stroller rental, came across this company & gave them a call. $49 for a 5 day rental & then $10 for delivery seemed great! I also asked if could add some sort of insurance & was told that I could pay separately for both theft protection & then insurance to cover damages (why not just one umbrella insurance to cover everything?? $10 per a day for both things) By the end of the call, this 5-day rental was $100+. The woman on the phone takes the payment, charges the card & says someone can be over within the next 30 minutes & will call me when they are heading out way & when they arrive to our hotel, Paradise Pier Hotel. We get ready to head to the park & go downstairs to wait in the lobby for our stroller about 45 minutes after getting off the phone . I call back OSM & they try to put me on hold for reservations, but I explained that I had a reservation & was expecting a delivery, but haven't heard from anyone & it's already been 15 minutes after the expected delivery time. She tells me she will call me right back to get ahold of the delivery person . 10 minutes go by with no call back. So, I call yet again & get a different person, explained the situation & she said to give her a second while she tries to get ahold of the delivery person . She explains she wouldn't be able to call since she's driving, but I told them that i expected delivery about a half hour ago & we were waiting in the lobby wasting our park day waiting for a stroller. Just as we're talking, a white van pulls up & a woman hops out of it & is on the phone. So, I describe the van & the fact that she was on the phone & definitely driving, & the woman on the phone confirms that is the delivery person. Great! She kinda ignored us while bringing out the stroller & she was chatting on the phone, eventually she gets out paperwork & then has us sign something on her phone (the contract). The confusing part was that I was the one who made the reservation, but my MIL paid for it. She directed me to fill out the form since I made the reservation, but when we got to the end, the payment section (contract part) was under my MIL's name as the person who paid , but with my signature. She then tells us, "Oh it's fine, as long as you don't sue us it doesn't matter." We kinda shrug it off as we wanted to hurry to the parks . We get the stroller & it was dirty. She says that she washed everything, but couldn't get the mounds of glitter off the stroller, but not to worry because it's clean. We exchange our goodbyes & go our separate ways. My other half used a napkin & pretty much was able to dust off a decent amount of the glitter & throughout our 5-day trip, my toddler had glitter on her daily. Pretty disgusting & annoying, but we had no other choice or option as we were pretty desperate. The stroller itself worked great & we enjoyed using it, just the condition of it was a bit hard to look at it considering how worn it was & all the glitter & dirt. Fast forward, 5th day night, I call to arrange a pick up the following morning& spoke to a gentleman who made this experience a bit better but really took a lot of back & forth. Pretty much explained that we had an early flight & was leaving our hotel early, was told we could leave it at the bell hop & wouldn't be charged any fee, this guy told us someone needs to be there to pick up since you can't just leave it. We talked for a while & eventually explained my experience with the company regarding the delivery & he said everything that happened was a total mistake & feels guilty that I went through all of the hassle. He says he's going to talk to the owner to see if there's anyway he can meet us early to pick up the stroller. Long story short, that guy actually ends up coming to pick up the stroller in the morning, he actually explained that most of the strollers were not cleaned due to having a busy event, so I probably got a stroller that was not washed, hence all the glitter. My daughter ended up getting hand foot mouth & she had sores on the backs of her thighs & near her butt, so we assumed that she most likely got it from the stroller since we used wipes & hand sanitizer everywhere else in the parks. We tried to clean the stroller as much as possible, but the glitter & whatever else was stuck onto it like glue . They offered a 50% off of one day rental as a compensation to be used this year, but we don't plan on renting anything & know now to remember to bring our own strollers ... Overall, had a crappy experience with this company with both the delivery & pick up, really put unnecessary stress on our vacation. read more
