A last minute decision to get a scooter from select Mobility most definitely the right decision for me. My back had decided to start hurting on the drive to Anaheim and I knew it would be worse from all the walking at the convention we were going to. I decided to get a scooter from select Mobility based on the reviews. I will definitely use them in the future going forward. The pricing is competitive though not the lowest. But the scooters are in such great shape. And they fit! When I say this I mean they have different sized scooters based on what you need. I'm plus size but I'm a low end plus size. For example I wear a size 14 in most everything. But I am also only 5'3. And I have noticed that most scooters are made for people who are bigger than I am. Even when I had 30 more pounds on me, a lot of the scooters just felt really big. I was able to rent a more compact three-wheeled scooter and I wasn't leaning for the controls or the handlebars, the higher seat back was so welcome, the basket was a great size for the convention, just everything about the scooter and how will it was maintained made me super happy. The phone call to Bryan to reserve the scooter was a breeze, and his text messages confirming the order and details of when and where they would deliver the scooter provided great peace of mind that everything would be all set for our 2-day visit to Disneyland. Our hotel was a mile away from Disneyland, and they delivered a fully-charged scooter to the hotel, so I didn't even have to find a way to get to Disneyland first - I just rode the scooter there. The charge held all day, and the scooter was comfortable and super easy to operate. Excellent Service When I Needed It Most I fell at Disneyland and badly injured my knee. Even though our hotel was right across the street, Disneyland wouldn't let us take their wheelchair beyond the entrance and suggested we call an Uber.....to take us across the street! Everything went amazing! When we had trouble with the website, we called and they were able to process our scooter rental over the phone. We were staying on Disney property at the Disneyland Hotel. Hurt my hip on the first day of our Disneyland trip. I didn't have much hope of getting a last minute scooter rental. There are a ton of options for scooter rentals around Disneyland, but this is the place you should look into first. Price was better than most (especially Disneyland) and the actual scooters were very nice, and had great mobility and power. Single complaint is the "horn" was laughably weak, but that is far from a real problem. Biggest strength of this company is their employees. I faced two problems, both of my own making, and the staff were able to remedy them without any issues. Jasmine helped me when we realized that I booked one day early for pickup and also return and was very gracious about my initial no show for pickup. Danny then helped me out with some logistical problems caused by my booking mistake. Again, he was very gracious and really helped us out. They'll deliver and pick up at your local hotel (unless your hotel doesn't allow it, but most do), or you can pick up/drop off at their spot directly across from the entrance to Disneyland on Harbor. I rented from Select Mobility Scooter after the previous company I used became unreliable. They're conveniently located right across the street from Disneyland. Scooter didn't have quite as good of battery as other companies I've used but it lasted the day. Pick up and drop off was easy. I only wish they offered a way to pay for daytime parking. For people like me who live driving distance from Disneyland, so I come for just 1 day at a time, it's cumbersome to rent. You have to be dropped off, rent your scooter, meanwhile your family has to go park offsite and then meet up with you. (Last time the shuttle line was quite long, so by the time they drove to Toy Story lot, parked, waited through security, waited in line, got on a bus, and got dropped off at Disneyland, I had been waiting 20+ minutes for them). Then at the end of the night when everyone is exhausted you have to again wait for your family to go get the car and come get you. So far this has worked for me because I've always come with friends/family. But idk what I would do if I drove alone or it was just me and a child. I would pay a premium to just be able to drive up, park my car, rent my scooter and walk across the street into Disneyland. read more

They only charge us for 2 days and deliver the first night. No need to worry with Select Mobility--they are so consistent with their customer service and reliability. For the first time ever, we had a small hiccup and it was after 10pm. We called--an actual human spoke with us. Their super hero powers snapped into action. They met us at the gates with a replacement. I also forgot my inhaler and lipstick on the scooter--that was returned to us. No matter who I speak with they are always accommodating, nice and go out of their way to help me. My husband injured himself mid trip with two park days left. I was so worried about salvaging our trip. I looked up scooters in my Disneyland facebook group and found select mobility. I got on their website and it looked like they might be closed already but I called and Bryan (the manager) answered right away. He made the process so easy and calmed me down, assuring me that everything would work out fine. I was able to pay over the phone. He said he could deliver to our hotel by 7am (so we could still do our planned rope drop) the next day and left it in the lobby area and the keys with the front desk. I am a 500+lb guy and Bryan was a man of his word about the chair and battery life. I picked up at 9a.m wirh full life and returned at 1a.m and lost only 1 line of power. Let's not forget the great price from this establishment and the walking distance from the main entrance. I parked in the mickey and friends parking lot took the tram to the drop off point and walked over to the bw hotel but if you park in toy story parking lot it will be closer. I would like to publicly post that I am very satisfied with this company's service, communication and the quality of the equipment was outstanding. The staff was able to work with me over the phone to make a reservation guaranteed with a follow up with an email then had a reminder email when my reservation became closer to the date of the rental they also did an overview discussion with me discussing my equipment how it worked what happens if anything is needed. The check-in process was very simple. There was no weight. Returning the equipment in the evening was very simple. The only feedback I have is locating the hotel that this is based out of was a little tricky. Apple Maps sent me to the wrong hotel. Also pulling in and getting dropped off. The parking lot is very difficult to get in and out of if you are not a guest at the hotel. I look forward to renting from this company again soon and highly recommend it if you are needing a scooter while you're in Disneyland or any other area around there look up this company. I came in to pick up my rental and as usual, was asked for a signature on the paperwork. I signed, and then Danny used a white out pen to change the rate ( I am often given a discount for my repeat business ) after I signed. I noticed this when the amount to be charged was higher than the amount that I agreed to by signing. I am okay with not getting a discount, but I'm not okay with paperwork or an agreement being altered after I provide my signature. Danny should/could have told me that he was not willing to provide the discount, or fixed the paperwork before even placing it on the counter for me to sign if he felt it was an errerror.
