There are a few things that you need to be aware of so you won't get surprised afterwards. The parking is in west building, so if you have a car and live towards the lake, you will have to constantly switch between buildings. Going down one elevator, then going up the other. For me, the communication was fine until I was there but after the lease ended, they were unprofessional in there behavior. I ended up loosing nearly a thousand bucks extra on move out and never heard back about my security deposit. I got ghosted after I asked for details about the matter. On my final day, my friend tried to deliver the key at the end of the day but they were closed. He returned it the next day but they charged me rent for that day. Lesson learnt, always leave the keys inside the apartment to not get charged by Holland Residential. So my advice would be to clarify the details you care about beforehand to avoid sneaky surprises. read more

My time at One Lakefront comes with little to no complaints. The building is clean and refined, the amenities are all worthwhile, and the management is always friendly and responsive. During my 3 years here, Amy and Hailey went above and beyond in all situations and always provided helpful and affable interactions. I could not recommend them enough as a management team and truly wish the best for both of them. The location is safe and centered around many great neighborhoods. The roof alone is a sight to savor, providing one of the best views of Seattle. There aren't many cons to truly linger on and hiccups are minor living here. It's pricey, but let's be real, living anywhere in Seattle is over the top nowadays... Overall, I'd say you get what you are paying for at this complex. Undeniably, One Lakefront is a great choice to call home and will provide the comfort and warmth you desire. read more

One Lakefront is a wonderful place to live! Before living here I lived in two other apartment complexes and to say One Lakefront blows all of the others out of the water. First, the units are beautiful and so new and modern. I love the white walls and light wood floors (so aesthetic!). Automatic blinds are so nice and I love me a walk in closet! ALSO there is an ice maker in freezer lol no more slaving away making ice!! All the applicances are updated and work so well. I also love the fob access is for the front door and also my unit door, makes it easy! Second, the amentities are awesome! A BEAUTIFUL rooftop with the most amazing view of South Lake Union. There are so many hangout spots that it never feels like its crowded or you can't enjoy it when others are there. The gym is nice and big and hardly ever full. Third, the staff. Hailey and Galfato helped with finding the apartment and the move and they are so attentive and responsive which I am not used to living in apartments! No matter how many emails about small details they always respond. They also are able to print you things you may need which I think is so nice. Also if packages get delievered and do not go into your parcel locker, they will put them in for you at the end of the day so they are safe. The leasing office is also open 7 days a week so someone is always there to help you which is awesome! There is just such great attentiveness here. I had a bed delievered and they noticed a large package in the lobby and they brought up a trolley to the other side of the building so it would be easier to bring it up to my apartment which I thought was so thoughtful and they went out of their way for that! I do wish the doggy area on the roof was turf or something and the waits for elevators can be long but it is a big complex! But if those are my only complaints it speaks for how amazing it is to reside here! read more

One Lakefront is a great apartment complex. The building is well maintained and the staff is wonderful. Hailey and Amy make living here such a joy and they're always fantastic to chat with, not to mention how helpful they are. Pros: * The leasing staff (Hailey and Amy) * Common areas are cleaned often and management stays on top of getting people to follow the community guidelines * The apartment finishes are great * In my unit I get hot water very quickly after turning on the faucet * The kitchen appliances are nice * There's a secured room all the packages go in and the room has a fridge for cold packages Cons: * The spaces in the parking garage are very narrow. Some are okay but most of the spots put you pretty close to other cars or obstructions. Parking is also pretty expensive * My rent went up about 4.5% this year * In addition to paying for your apartment's utilities, you're also billed for common area utility fees and a utility fee for the 3rd party billing company they use Pro and con: * The call box only lets people in the front doors but doesn't allow temporary elevator access, so any time you have visitors, you have to go down and get them. Pro because this is better for security, con because it can be cumbersome to pick up guests from the lobby read more

Absolutely a fantastic place to live, not only are the units and amenities beautiful, but the staff is absolutely amazing. They are so responsive, accommodating and takes a true interest into their tannates. Tess knows all residents by names, their plans, and is so personable. John and Terrace have always been extremely responsive, kind, and knowledgeable about any needs. I could not recommend living here enough, I will cherish my time at One Lakefront forever. One Lakefront offers a great balance between luxury and casual comfort. The amenities are great: gymnasium, trash collection, water, metro-convenient location, and fantastic roof-top common spaces. The common spaces available to tenants like the Supper Room and the Board Room are nice when one is able to use them, though the lighting is bad and the much of the furniture is broken. Security in the building is not great, and there is no accessibility from the Westlake Avenue side that fits ADA regulations. Security has improved int he last several months and that is appreciated. Parking is just fine, though being on the north side of Mercer Street does make for some entangled commuting issues. But the neighborhood is great! The restaurants within walking distance are all excellent. The trail and bike route across the street can't be beat! read more

I've apartment hunted recently and one of the places I checked out is the One Lakefront. Galfato, the sales associate for the weekend showed me around via an in person tour on a Saturday morning. As a first time renter, I had a lot of questions and he was very patient and knowledgeable, explaining to me the process and being super transparent about everything, including prices, details of each unit, etc. As for the property itself, the amenities are great - you also get to, free of charge, reserve up to two kayaks first come first serve, on top of the usual fitness center and rooftop deck. I believe you can see the space needle from the deck, on the Dexter side. I unfortunately did not apply here because I found a substantial better deal last minute right before I decided to make my decision, but this is definitely a property to check out (and that I would consider when I need to find another apartment in the future), as Galfato is very nice and the property itself offers amenities competitive to other luxury apartments in the area. read more

We moved in to One lakefront about a year ago and this week, we are renewing our lease... Hailey was our leasing agent. She is super friendly and knowledgable. We were moving from out of state and because the unit we wanted was still occupied at the time, we could not take a tour of the unit. Hailey answered all of our questions including the ones on the lighting and view from the window. She also sent pictures after our visit. On the first day we moved in, we were surprised that everything was what Hailey described. We quickly fall in love with our first apartment in Seattle! The apartment complex also takes maintenance seriously. The maintenance requests usually get resolved within the same day/next day. read more

While location, views, amenities, and management staff are great, the building has poor soundproofing (if any). Noise from neighbors such as constant stomping from upstairs is extremely disturbing. The entire ceiling shakes with every step. I rarely get a good night's sleep. If you're sensitive to noise and you're unlucky with your neighbors, you will get frustrated everyday. Expect sleepless nights and constant need for noise cancelling headphones. Building management is responsive to noise complaints, but them reaching out to the upstairs neighbor has made little difference. read more

Started great, good vibes, waterfront, and atmosphere. My only initial gripe was the bathroom cabinet was missing a door at move in which was promised to replaced within "days"so I accepted the lease. A year later moving out they never fixed it despite numerous requests. I hope the new resident didn't get the same lie about fixing the door....(307). The new staff isn't on it, stuff degrading, halls are nasty, untrained dogs bark 24-7, hope you have headphones management does nothing despite several residents complaining. The gate to the "secure" garage was broke for months. Coffee bar often doesn't work, hope you don't need anything on a weekend, the guy usually working does nothing but play on his phone. Deliveries are thrown in a pile despite three locker rooms. Homeless/drug addicts outside increasing & often smells of urine (staff laughs about it). On Dexter a pedestrian was stabbed in the neck across the street. My girl and kid wouldn't go out after dark. Finally it took over 2 months and numerous e-mail to get them to mail my deposit refund. I don't enjoy writing this but the place has gone downhill, I'm not one for negativity & exceptionally chill and patient. This was great place at start but became the most frustrating place I've lived. I should have stayed at Onni, If you can afford $4K for a 2 BR apartment you expect and are used to certain standards of quality and atmosphere which aren't met here. To be quite honest all the high rise in downtown cost the same and have multiple pools, sauna, conference rooms, music and climbing rooms, and take complaints very seriously. You can get much more elsewhere, I moved and am quite happy about it. read more

My partner and I were thrilled about this place after almost a year of searching for our next home back in 2021. When we toured this place, we were definitely wowed by the amenities. The front admin staff are always friendly and happy to assist as well. The time we have spent here, they have been so accommodating, and very prompt with our needs. There's a BEAUTIFUL view of Lake Union from the rooftop with access to dog runs, large grills, and comfy seating. During the summer, if we're feeling like going out to the water, they have kayaks and paddling boards to rent! The gym is outstanding! My partner is a physical trainer, so it has the perfect amount of space and equipment needed for his sessions. The goal is to make this home for years before we buy a home! I called the apartment last Friday asking about doing a 7 months lease, and was told that they have a 6 weeks free going on. I confirmed again that it is valid even for 7 months, and they said yes. I decided to tour on Saturday for one of the apartments with Tyler. I was told that if I sign a lease for September that I can even get an 8 weeks free. I remember that I even tried to negotiate the price for the 7 months lease (which was $1575), and was told they don't do negotiation on the price because the 8 weeks free will make the rent cheaper already. With that in mind, I decided to submit an application for one of their units on the Sunday. I had to pay a deposit fee and an application fee ($40). This morning, I was told by Tyler that the 8 weeks free is only valid for the 10 months lease. They finally admitted that it is their mistake, and came back to me saying they can do 4 weeks free on the 7 months lease. This does not work for me, and they told me that they can refund my deposit fee. I told them that they should be returning my application fee as well because they agreed that it is a mistake that they made. However, they're saying that they are not able to. I feel disappointed, and it honestly feels like I am being scammed. I ended up losing money and not even getting what was promised. Be careful! read more

My husband and I have lived at One Lakefront since March 2020, and it's been an absolute dream. The units are so nice, the amenities and views are beautiful (the two rooftops are INCREDIBLE), and everyone has been so wonderful to work with. The move-in process with Hailey was seamless and we've really enjoyed how great everything has been since, especially with COVID. Spending a lot of time at home can be a downer but we haven't felt that at all since living at One Lakefront. I've seen some complaints about noise, but I haven't experienced this at all. we occasionally hear the typical noise that comes with apartment living but honestly nothing out of the ordinary, and I've had much worse noise experiences in past apartments. This is one of the finest apartments around the neighborhood, we have looked into multiple buildings - WestLake Steps, June on South Lake. But, this one stands out. Why ?? 1. Location is amazing. 2. Amenities are good, but due to covid-19 -- no luck with that. 3. Price is relatively okay, spacious and lots of sunlight. 4. Very friendly management, they listen to you -- period. Overall, we looked into other places before signing the lease here. Many other places offered 4 weeks off and all. The value is far better due to location, apartment lighting, views, sunlight and management. read more

You will get a lot of value for your money. Why? The apartment itself is new and the amenity is nice. The price point is relatively high considering the location. My 1 star reviews are for the management company and their onsite sales team. The company doesn't like to fix broken things in the apartment and tend to wait for a long time to save cost. The water fountain in the gym was broken in Jan and it took them 1.5 month to actually call in someone to fix it. After 5pm, they unplug the water fountain in the lobby to save cost again. The sales team onsite use the boardroom facility to watch movie and hang out with their friends....seriously? Now, my building elevator on Dexter is not working properly and the screen keeps flickering. We raised this to the management a few times but they just said elevator service only comes once per quarter. If things are broken, you fix it. FIX THE ELEVATOR! We are not paying less than any of those high rise in downtown so give us the service we deserve. read more

I will be moving here in a few days but I just had to point out the absolutely amazing help I've had from Hailey and Galfato. For context, I recently moved to Seattle after graduating and was looking for my first apartment when I came across this place. Galfato gave me a tour of several rooms that met my requirements and was extremely transparent on the building amenities, rules, and overall answered all my questions. Since my viewing, I've had almost daily correspondence with the team with Hailey filling in on days Galfato was out. They both made me feel very safe about moving in, and walked me through the process of setting everything up so that I can settle in on my first day, sometimes even answering my questions after-hours. As for the property itself, I can only comment on what I saw during the tour, but the layout is pretty standard for an urban 1BR. It had a great selection of appliances. The amenities included everything I was looking for including a gym, rooftop deck (with an amazing view), conference rooms, etc. Once I do get settled in, I may add more to this, but so far I am very much looking forward to moving day. One issue I had was that when trying to call the office, if no one answers, I get redirected to a call center that tries to give me the number to the office I just called. It was a very confusing process and I didn't know how to get into the building on the day of my tour. Luckily, Galfato came out to let me in. read more

The location is great, it is super pet friendly, and the brand new building boasts some great amenities that I actually use such as a spacious gym and cool rooftop decks. However, those amenities are tables stakes for buildings in this price range. When you look below the surface it desperately needs some usability/accessibility improvements. It is really difficult to walk through the building with anything in your hands (e.g. bike, packages, etc.) much less if you are in a wheelchair or have a dog in tow. Suggestions to improve would be to install automatic door opener buttons on high traffic doors such as the front doors, the workshop, the bike storage room, etc. Many areas could also benefit from 'auto on' sensors such as the garbage rooms, workshop, and bike storage room (they currently have 'auto off' sensors and small flush, buttons that are difficult to find in pitch black rooms). I find myself getting very annoyed whenever I walk through with my dog and/or my bike. I am also EXTREMELY disappointed at how poorly a building with no AC was designed. I am not sure why there is no AC in a high-end building in the first place, but my unit was between 85-90° for over two months despite outside temperatures cooling to the 60s at night. There is only one window (which barely opens) so I have no way to get air to flow through my unit. When I mentioned it to management they told me about the AC units they had for rent. Parking is also on the pricey side at $225/month. Lastly, you should also be prepared to be (rightly) ridiculed by your friends for the building's awful branding which is extremely tone-deaf and screams "hey this is a great place for rich white people". Predominately on display in the elevators, is a gag-inducing picture of two white people drinking champagne on a sailboat with a tag line that says "Trade-up without settling down". It has made for plenty of awkward conversations when friends, family, and colleagues have visited. The website is worse and shows many pictures of rich white people enjoying life by a seaside that is definitely not Lake Union (which you can tell from the boats on the open sea and snow covered mountains). The building is still really new. I remain hopeful that management will quickly make changes based on resident feedback. read more

I had a couple qualms carrying over from my pervious Holland apartment complex, but the professionalism and transparency from the One Lakefront associates had my mind at ease. Having experienced pre and post Covid-19 at One Lakefront, I am ecstatic that they have done and continue to do a great job. Galfato, the associate I frequent most, is always friendly and eager to address my questions no matter how small. I had a tight moving schedule and Galfato was able to situate me quickly while dispelling concerns. Galfato and the many staff members keep the community here up to date on potential concerns (Covid and non-Covid), help foster community development with internal/external clubs/services and continue to decorate seasonally to maintain normalcy during these times. Building maintenance is always quick, never slips, and is much appreciated (tenant messes, wet dog smell in elevators, etc.)! Although many are amenities closed due to Covid, the roofs are at least open now for tenants and furry friends (social distancing required). Located in a quite part of SLU, if you are still on the edge with questions and concerns, I would easily recommend reaching out to the leasing office! read more

I just moved in to One Lakefront and I truly could not be happier with my experience so far. They have so many great units to choose from with high-quality finishes and very well thought out features. The amenities are incredible - the view the rooftop is amazing, and there are multiple other gorgeous community rooms. The area around the building has a nice paved walking path all the way around Lake Union, and there is a great corner store right in the building with all the essentials and a nice beer and wine selection. One Lakefront is by far the best experience I have had in an apartment. The staff here is always working their hearts out to ensure that the resident feel safe, and accommodated. I have had zero issues since my move in about three months ago. Hailey and Galfato are the two I have primarily interfaced with and they are absolute delights. They are always willing to help with anything and everything. The rest of the staff is also friendly. We stayed at One Lakefront for a month for temporary housing with Aboda. From the moment we arrived, the staff has been friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautifully furnished and they even included treats and toys for our cats. The appliances are modern and we greatly appreciated the full-size washer and dryer. The location is fantastic if you work downtown. The bus stops at Westlake Ave N and Galer St, right in front of the Metropolitan Cafe. You can walk across Westlake Ave and be able to walk around Lake Union. There is a free coffee/latte/hot chocolate machine in the lobby! Definitely my favorite amenity! The gym is very nice and the machines are so modern that you can watch Netflix on the treadmills. read more

Update on my previous review: I've been working with the management of the apartment on the solutions and at the same time, I'd give a full review on this property based on my experience. Background: I moved here for temporary housing and spent more than a month on apartment hunting since then, and finally decided to stay with one lakefront because it was a pleasant experience and I do love lots of aspects of the property. And even though I've been tortured by the noise, when it's quiet, I would think to myself that I'll stay here and just bear with the noise. It was that great that I would love to stay if there's a way out of the noise. Pros: 1. The location. It's close to everything (walking distance to basically every fun part of west Seattle), but not that close so it does not have a lot of street noise. 2. The facilities are awesome. Even though I never used the gym due to COVID, it's spacious and has a lot of options. There are two rooftops and it was such a good time chilling up there. The mail rooms are organized even during prime day, and it's always clean in public spaces. And it has the home feeling that they'd decorate the property for holidays. 3. The management group is awesome. Hailey, specifically is so friendly and she tried all her ways to help me resolving the noise issues. And it's not like that this is just her job, it feels like she sincerely care about every resident. I really appreciated every conversation we had and she made this place such a welcoming place. I don't have too much experience working with others, but all of them are very friendly. Definitely can trust them. And the nightly courtesy team is responsive and helpful as well. Cons: Poor construction of the building. This would be the only con I can think of, yet it's so important, at least to me since I have an ear condition that I can't wear earplugs for sleep. Even though there's not a lot of street noise as in downtown, if you have insensible neighbors, you could hear their parties, their music and even their conversations. (There are still traffic noises and if you are on the ally facing, you'd be hear a lot of trucks/moving trucks/garbage trucks, but those are understandable and are ok to live with) This property do have quiet hours and night courtesy team do would be available for any issue within that time, it's just an emotionally and physically frustrating thing to deal with at the first place. And sometime it doesn't feel right to blame your neighbors when the noise happened outside of quiet hours since people are just living their lives. I would still hold my stand on that if you are sensitive to noise, think twice. You might be lucky enough to have great neighbors and have a great time here, but it's not guaranteed. Overall, I love this building and I love living here. But I just don't have luck. I raised the ratings to 3 stars for the pros. read more
