Part 1: I lived in AMLI Arc from 2022 - 2023. I was moving from NYC to Seattle and during my initial tour I saw unit 705 and 805, but decided on 405. Things I liked during my tour and while living here: 1. Gym 2. 4 elevators 3. Working space, printer, coffee, outdoor space 4. Safe package room 5. Safe neighborhood, and near many cafes 6. Doorman ----------------------- Part 2: I signed the lease and booked my flight from JFK to SEA. Few weeks later I arrived, picked up my key fob, opened the door, and here's where my problems start: 1. Kitchen was dirty with stains on door handles and stove. 2. Hardwood floor had gaps and some of the wood was not snapped. 3. Noise from garbage truck, comedy club, and music venue. Maintenance came to clean and fix the gaps in the floor, but things were not in same conditions as previously toured units. As far as changing units or moving out, my options were to pay fees to transfer or cancel my lease. ----------------------- Recommendations: 1. Avoid facing the back alley (Minor Ave), unless you are living in higher floors. Trash gets picked up Monday - Friday, between 5am and 6am noise will go for 5-10 minutes. Facing the alley, you'll also have noise from "Keys On Main" (Comedy Club) and "Kremwerk" (music venue). You can check their schedule on Yelp. Note: leasing staff will tell you "we have no control over this and received no complaints". 2. Avoid units next to trash room. Trash chute breaks often and tenants will leave trash in the room. It's another door with constant traffic and doors don't soft close. read more

Consider your apartment search over! MOVE HERE! QUICKLY! All the Yelp and Google reviews speak for themselves - this place is fantastic. I honestly don't know where to start. If you're lucky enough to tour with Ken, you're lucky enough. He's had our back since *before* day 1, communicating with us via email while we were overseas, holding a unit for us, helping us find a different unit when our needs changed, and providing us with a second tour to get more detailed photos and measurements of our future home. The communication leading up to move-in day was top-tier. We moved in seamlessly and have been so happy here ever since! It's worth noting that Ken's sincerity, competence and friendliness played a big part in us selecting AMLI Arc. As for the experience actually living here, we often pinch ourselves to try and wake up from this dream. We actually live here?! Three of the concierges - Matt, Sinclair and Rick - are absolutely fantastic and so warm and welcoming. We're so excited to see them and chat with them every time we come home. (And they seem excited to see us, too!) The technology in the building is impressive, as well. We love the mobile app used for keyless entry for ourselves and our guests, the resident portal for paying rent and submitting maintenance requests, and the Luxer One package pickup system. The maintenance team - especially Ashish - are a delight to chat with, and they've answered all of our maintenance requests quickly and to our satisfaction. (Of course that should be the standard, but we've had less-than-satisfactory experiences renting elsewhere in Seattle.) Lastly, the building is just damn incredible. Everything is in excellent shape, the amenities are sparkly and never too busy, and even the trash/recycling chutes are super handy. We love the rooftop deck, the 12th floor lounge and of course the gym. There are grills, tools, board games, ping pong, billiards, you name it. What else could you want? The team here does an amazing job and are always making sure we want for nothing. They throw resident appreciation events with free ice cream and big breakfast buffets. It's the little things! My boyfriend and I recently moved into Amli early this year and the customer service was absolutely amazing. BIG shout out to Abby who helped with accommodating us! Abby was extremely helpful in answering all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed at every step of the move in process (from scheduling the apartment tour, to our actual move in). We had some last minute changes that came up where we needed to adjust our move in date a bit earlier, and she went above and beyond in helping us figure out the best solution for our move in. We really appreciated her going out of her way for us to make sure that our move in was as smooth as possible, and her attention to detail was absolutely phenomenal. Typically we would've had to set up our mailbox ourselves, and was something that was more of an afterthought for us in the midst of all the move in chaos, but Abby went ahead and set it up ahead of time for us and I really appreciated that. The rest of the staff was amazing as well, and was always happy to help us out. The concierge has been great in helping us with our large furniture shipments. The process of scheduling the freight elevator and loading dock was seamless, and we were already set up in their packaging system by the time we moved in. I couldn't ask for a smoother move in experience honestly. As for the apartment itself, its an absolutely beautiful modern apartment. As with the customer service, there is so much attention detail that went into the design that I really appreciate - the HVAC system/natural air, the windows, the environmental considerations, the separate unit utility metering, the amenity spaces, their guest list system ect. The concierge service is 24/7. And we have had only wonderful interactions with Chanelle and her staff. The overnight gentlemen, Robert is very funny and caring. The level of care for the tenants runs deep at this building. Second, we have lived here going on 6 months, and in a word, love it!! There are several Outdoor grills so rarely do you have to wait. If ever. The 12 th floor boasts a world class gym as well as dog wash, and yoga room. Pool table and shuffle board. Well maintained. Lastly, the leasing team headed up by David and Ken are a real treat. They worked with us to find the exact unit that matched our needs. And if you knew how picky we are, you'd understand-how invaluable this level of service was. Naomi and Ken made it easy. I was able to look at apartments online that were in my budget ahead of time. I later was able to free up time in my schedule for a one-day visit to Seattle, and Ken spent hours with me looking at different units until we found the one together that felt exactly perfect. In addition, I had to push back my move-in date due to a delay in my future employment and Ken made it extremely hassle-free to do so. Been living here since December 2020, had a great experience living here, and plan to continue to do so. I really like the things that the building prioritizes: functional floor plans instead of ones with weird areas that add square footage without corresponding utility. This is personal preference but several of the 1BR layouts here I liked for different reasons, and all were better than comparable high rise buildings that had larger raw square footage. a wide and unique range of low maintenance amenity spaces that are quite nice (especially the top floor) but don't feel like a flashy waste of money. Having a workshop space and music studio has come in handy many times for me and I haven't seen comparable amenities elsewhere. Being walking distance from the capitol hill tool library makes the workshop space even nicer. Overall I feel they really nailed all the things that matter to someone like me when this building was designed and built. The building staff (leasing, concierge, and maintenance) have been great and no issues there. read more

This is the absolute best apartment my partner and I have ever lived in! We moved here primarily because it would only be a 20-minute walk from both of our company offices (in upper Capitol Hill and Pioneer Square). The location is perfect for our work commutes but it is also the perfect places to come home to every single day. We have never lived in a building where the leasing office and management work so hard to make sure you have the best experience and that they deliver with the very best service. The amenities (examples: bike repair shop with bike shower, bike storage, full gym, dog bathing area, yoga studio, Starbucks coffee machines....the list goes on) are amazing and so well thought out. They did not take a single shortcut in the design and offerings of this building. When looking at apartments last spring, (for us) AMLI Arc was on the higher end of what we saw BUT we can really say that the money we are paying is absolutely worth it. This is THE BEST apartment I have ever lived in! Super close to our offices (15min walk). The 41st lounge floor is definitely the highlight of the place - table tennis, game area, kitchen setup, reading swings, media room - you name it! All the fun happens on the rooftop. The appliances are brand new since its a new apartment building - well maintained, 24 hour concierge, friendly staff, chick apartment look, and perfect location. There is a nice, positive energy as soon as you walk in the door that you just don't see most places in Seattle. All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. This building management supports racists concierge. The concierge here harassed my friends and I on Juneteenth, and did not impart the same behavior on the white residents that were in the same area as us. When I made a complaint, instead of a phone call to understand what happened to me - executives and leasing completely disregarded my experience and sent a general message defending the concierge persons behavior. For the amount of money you will pay living in this building, you deserve concierge (that your rent pays) to provide you with a service and not harrasment. There are many luxury buildings in Seattle, if I would have known better I would have chosen another. read more

Wanted to live here when I first moved to Seattle. Had picked out the perfect apartment with a view on the penthouse level. Staff is friendly and the building is gorgeous (4 stars for them), however, it was just a bunch of games trying to get approved (0 stars for the hassle). The leasing report had some errors, which I was able to resolve by providing a police report for some identity theft I had experienced. However, when it came to a balance that was on there from a former apartment I kept getting the run around. First I applied, that app expired so I had to apply again and pay the fees all over again because I was told all I had to do was to provide proof the balance was paid, apply again, and all was good. I had more than enough income and all. Went through all that hassle and they just would not except my proof that I owed no balance to the former landlord (move-out statement, refund of deposit, court documents showing a judge ruled in my favor that the place was uninhabitable thus forcing the landlord to let me out of my lease, etc.). I always have my ducks in a row but basically I was ripped out of the application fee multiple times and told the only resolution was to pay the balance of which I did not owe. No worries, I had been approved without hassle at multiple other high-rises with views and a pool, I just really liked the new feel and ambiance of this building. And this mysterious balance showed up nowhere else might I add which further cements that there was no balance owed. read more

It's been about a month moving into AMLI Arc. Although I'm writing this during the covid situation and we have yet to experience everything this place has to offer, this is probably the most pleasant experience I've had so far with moving and living in a place. that just feels great. The front desk team is always amazing and easy to work with. Jesse helped us through the leasing process during start of the covid situation and guided us through the whole process until moving in. There was constant communication coming from him with reminders for things and updates on timelines. He was ALWAYS available for questions and was incredibly responsive.
