She's amazing. She was so great to work with- she is funny, down to earth, patient, and knows her stuff. She even worked with our photo budget! She recommended several places to take photos around the city and I'm so glad we trusted her ideas rather than to try to plan our own. She was engaging and even though we had been to multiple spots, she kept suggesting more places to make sure we were completely happy. Her photos are amazing! Robyn is a very laid-back person and really wants input from her clients, so make sure you know what you want. Robyn will make you look beautiful. (She herself, having just returned to Chicago from a stint in LA, is a very hip gal and on top of the fashion trends). We chose Robyn because the colors in her pictures are far and away better than anyone else in her price range. The pictures she takes look like they could be in a magazine. (But if you are looking for a more candid, photo-journalistic style, she might not be the person for you). One of the nice things about working with Robyn is that all her packages come with an engagement session. She likes to do these sessions so that she finds out each person's personality (and how to make them look good) and so that the couple meets her and knows her style before the day of the wedding. This definitely helped us get better pictures on our wedding day because we were all very comfortable with each other. Both my husband and I were very, very happy with Robyn.

I am VERY shy in front of a camera and was terrified to meet strangers and have them take engagement pictures of me in downtown Chicago. Within minutes of meeting Amanda and Jacob, you become instantly comfortable with them. They instantly become everything you need- a coach, a director, a comedian, and an overall HYPE team. I was laughing so much during the shoot that I ended up shaking all nerves and having a fun time. The best part of that is that they captured so many candid moments, which are so fun to look back on.
