As a photographer who doesn't like having her photos taken, it brings a whole additional set of complications to the table. I honestly went into the wedding day, hoping to have maybe a dozen or so photos that I loved, and you know what? I loved EVERY. SINGLE. ONE! Even all of the images of myself. Moments that meant the world to me - she captured them perfectly. Portraits I thought for sure were a bust because of my and my now husband's awkwardness in front of the camera? Joy made those look natural and amazing somehow!!! He did a nice job making our girls feel comfortable and wasted no time starting to shoot. Robb's easy going personality and fun spirit kept things light and enjoyable the entire time. He also did a wonderful job making both girls feel like little models by positively encouraging them when they were posing well and smiling. Honestly, I was a little nervous about the whole experience, but Deb made it seamless. From scheduling online (no phone calls! a dream come true), to paying electronically, to having the opportunity to select my background and share the look I was interested in, to feeling completely comfortable during my photo shoot - it was a seamless experience with Deb. What's included in the package is made unclear, so I never got what I expected. In addition, during the shoot he said that he could take my arm out if I had it on my kiddo and when I reminded him of this later, he said that was considered a complex edit and would cost money but they'd do it complmenetary that time. Had he told me this at the time of the shoot, we would have done something differently to get photos without me there in the background. Not cool.
