His style is very particular, which I see as a good thing-- your photos will look like art, not just like anyone else's photos. Moreover, his prices are completely in line with those of other photogs in Chicago-- even less than several we interviewed! Back in September 2013, we needed our engagement photos quickly to produce save-the-dates and Jeremy delivered. We loved every shot he gave us and are constantly finding ways to use the pictures in new ways. Too, too many of the shots from our August 31 wedding are breathtaking. Jeremy gave me one photo before he left, taken just with his iPhone, and even that shot is spectacular. Plus all the guests at the wedding commented on how clearly capable Jeremy was-- getting right in the middle of the dancing, and being super efficient with all posed shots he took. Jeremy is a legitimate inspiration to both my fiance and me, who have both worked as event photographers ourselves. THANK YOU FOR COMING TO CALIFORNIA JEREMY!!

We are indeed very fortunate to have chosen Michael Lee Photography for our wedding. His website is…read morea great introduction. He is a third generation photographer, and we loved his philosophy. A quote from him we repeated often in the days leading up to the wedding, "If love is in the room, nothing else matters." We submitted a request through the website, and he got in touch quickly. We had a wonderful conversation, which gave us complete confidence to enter into a contract with him. Before our special day, we had a virtual meeting to go over the shot list, and he asked all kinds of great questions. On the day of our wedding, he was early, and ready for us when we were. He is great at communicating with you, keeping it light, and getting great expressions. He worked wonderfully with the caterers to prepare the scenes inside the venue. He was always kind and professional. Working through the shot list, he learned everyone's names, and kept the posing and taking of photos fun and relaxed. We received so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful Mike was. Then we got our photos! At first he would text us teasers, and they were all amazing. Then before too long, we received a link to our own website with all of the photos, and then received a USB drive with all of our shots. We're very excited to receive prints. I cannot recommend Michael Lee Photography enough.

Then we actually won a gift card toward the cost of pictures (for guessing the correct weight of a pumpkin!) Our first session was for my grand-daughter--and I cannot tell you how gorgeous those pictures came out. So, with the first experience out of the way, we jumped in with a request for family portraits (Four Generations). They were absolutley lovely and he handled the kids with grace and calm. Mr. Cohen is now our go-to photographer. You will not be disappointed!

We are not a couple that loves being…read morein front of a camera, but Alysia gave us prompts and guidance to make us feel comfortable and at ease with so many eyes and cameras on us throughout the day. If I had a nickel for every compliment I have received on our engagement photos or our wedding sneak peek photos (which she got to us in just a few days!), I feel like I'd come close to covering the cost of our wedding. In addition to complimenting our photos, our friends and family also complimented the photography/videography team for their respectful approach in capturing the day without barking out orders and directions as I'm sure everyone has witnessed at one wedding or another. Throughout the planning process, Alysia was always available via text, phone call, or email answering questions and offering expert recommendations, providing me reassurance that we were in good hands for the big day. We loved Alysia's guidance throughout the process, her respectful command of our group day-of, and her comfortable direction of us during our (free) engagement shoot and wedding day, not to mention the beautifully edited photos! Alysia met all of our expectations and more and we would recommend her to all of our family and friends. We might have to throw another wedding just to have her capture it again!

I loved how my sister's pictures had turned out and she raved about Alysia, the team and the whole process. It was an easy choice to make when it came to my wedding and Alysia was one of the first vendors I booked! Overall, the entire process was so easy and calm. Alysia's pre-wedding process was so straightforward and she was great with coming up with suggestions on places to shoot our wedding photos. Alysia and her team were amazing to work with during our ceremony and reception as well. We didn't have to worry about anything and we got the photos and video footage that we wanted. The picture quality and shots are GORGEOUS and I cannot stop looking at the pictures! We also were able to do the film package as a trial for the company and we were blown away by those photos as well. They gave us a bit of nostalgia from our childhoods and were such a different type of photo but absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend adding it onto a photo package! Alysia was so helpful in helping us curate the vibe we were looking for in our wedding photos. She was so creative during our photo shoot and amazing photos resulted from that! Alysia and the team are also so friendly and personable which made taking photos so much fun! One of the photographers even gave me her coat to warm up after we were outside for awhile by the river in some pretty cold temperatures and wind. Overall, all of our photos, digital and film, and our video are absolutely stunning and I could not have asked for better and more beautiful photos (or people) to capture our wedding day! I would recommend Alysia and S2 Photos + Cinema to anyone and everyone!

I just got married this past Saturday March 29th. Honestly I wasn't planning on hiring a…read morephotographer, I never budgeted for one. I thought that photography was completely out of our budget. We planned on utilizing a QR code. We knew everyone attending would have a cell phone, and most cell phones have incredible cameras attached to them. I saw an Ad on Facebook for Jolie Images, it was incredibly affordable. I thought it was a scam. I did research on the company and found out it was comprised, and owned by all females. I loved what they stood for. I decided to book them for my wedding. I contacted them and they were incredibly easy to deal with. My date was available so I put $100 down. They allowed me to pay what I could afford, and then pay the balance prior to the wedding day. I requested a female photographer. They have both male & female photographers. I ended up with Joanna, this was such a blessing. She took complete charge and suggested that I do a first look. This was my 2nd wedding and I didn't want to have anxiety or be nervous. Joanna knew exactly what I wanted and eased my anxiety. My first look had laughter instead of tears, since it was done, prior to me walking down the aisle. My husband and I were able to spend precious moments, prior to our ceremony getting all the butterflies out of the way. We even had a special moment and our first kiss . This was all captured. She got to know both families and their personalities. When certain family members pushed back with comments, she would joke back and tell them what to do, where to stand, and how to pose. During the exchange of the rings, the best man left the rings, upstairs. Joanna mentioned in the 27 years she has photographed weddings, she has never witnessed that. In a situation where I could have overreacted, I took a breath, saying to my husband and Pastor, that's ok. Then everyone started laughing. She never missed a beat. She is the Diamond at your company and she shone at our wedding. I am forever grateful that you sent us your most prized possession on my special day. It turned out the venue was just 6 miles away from her home, that was such a blessing. Well done Jolie Images you are fantastic! Keep on doing what you do making memories priceless, not expensive!
