They say your wedding is most heavily photographed moment in your life. Well, after our wedding day, I can say that's true. So if you're camera shy or even if you're not, it's important to have someone there who can have fun with you and make you relax. Enter Clare Britt, with Rick Aguilar Studios.
Clare is amazing. She has some great ideas for unique pictures and really works with you to understand what's important to you as a couple. She asked us for a point person to help her ID the people that mattered to us the most. I think at the end of the day, we just wanted a good mix of everyone. She was good about keeping us on schedule too.
We had 3 places we wanted to go: the church courtyard, Lincoln Park Bridge and Urban Pooch for a picture with our pup. We were able to do almost all of them with the except of the courtyard since it was raining. Raining is putting it lightly. It was monsooning. We were actually stuck in the church while our wedding party was in the party bus because it was dangerous to go outside. It's good luck right? Regardless, Clare and her assistant, Monique, kept us all calm.
We loved that they sent us a preview of all the photos. It was the perfect thing after a few days so we got to relive the day and night a little and it makes us super pumped to see the photos.
The process of working with Rick Aguilar was great too. Eliisa, the office manager, was super responsive and helpful. She worked directly with Rick to find a package that fit our budget. They insisted on the photo album and engagement session and I have to say, even though we tried to fight them, both were worth it. I couldn't imagine our day without them there to photograph it. read more
