Loved this place! Staff is so friendly and gave amazing recommendations. Parking is easy and plentiful. Super clean interiors. And great food at an extremely reasonable price - would think it would cost WAY more. Definitely recommend a la carte since you get to pick exactly what you want to try! Menu changes often and super excited to come back! FOOD: Raw Littleneck Clams (7/10) - Super sweet, great texture. Good snack to start off with! Halibut (8/10) - Loved how fresh the halibut was here with the cilantro and cucumbers. Loch Duart Salmon (9/10) - Honestly amazing! Pretty big portion, fatty salmon, and has a touch of Chinese flavors. Get this Cornbread (10/10) - One of the best things I've eaten in a long time, and I don't normally like cornbread at all. Must try. Bluefin Tostada (5/10) - Not my favorite. Would skip. Buffalo Mussels (7/10) - Solid first bite, but the pieces underneath were wayyy too spicy. Skip. Scallops (8/10) - Super fresh and good portion size. Get this! Fancy Chicken Strips (4/10) - Chicken was pretty mushy. Sauce was too salty as well. Would skip this.

tried a few bites and it was quite yummy only downside is it's quite pricey i don't mind for the quality but it's a shame cuz on a sunday lunch time there was essentially no one there which is a shame since the vibes are nice, the food is delicious i highly recommend the chowder overall great food great vibes great service great for chats and drinks

Had this spot bookmarked for so long, and so glad we finally tried this place! A+ service, amazing food and presentation, and reasonable prices! There's a free parking garage around the corner which was nice as well. We ordered an assortment of the raw fish crudos, honestly loved all of them. Out of all of them, the one I liked maybe just a little bit less was the tuna tostada (in terms of both portion size and taste). The cornbread was one of our favorites (portion size is on smaller side), and the only dishes that fell flat for us was first the fried chicken (very bland inside), and the buffalo mussels (too salty and spicy, but we have low spice tolerance). Nevertheless, as someone who eats with her eyes first, I very much loved the presentation of all the dishes. The menu rotates often, so very excited to come back again! Portion size is on the smaller side for sure (tapas), but prices were relatively reasonable, total came out to ~$150 pre tip.

Everything here was amazing! From food to service 10/10. Perfect place for a nice lunch with seating outside on a nice day. Cornbread: 5/5 Spectacular, give me 14 of them right now! Quite literally the best cornbread I've ever had. So tasty, flavorful, and moist! Kanpachi: 4.5/5 Fresh and delicious. The thin sliced peaches really tied the dish together imo. Just wish the slices of fish were a tad thicker or if there was more. One Fish Chowder: 5/5 So good. Creamy, flavorful, and the cornbread croutons to top it off. Fancy Chicken Strips: 5/5 I honestly wasn't expecting this to be anything special but I was wrong. Juicy and delicious. And the oyster remoulade paired to dip with.... altered my brain chemistry. Buffalo Fried Mussels: 4/5 Yummy! I think it would've tasted better if more fried/crispy but might be a personal preference. Mussels were fresh though. Aerated Pandan Cheesecake: 3.5/5 A great and refreshing dessert! I'm not a huge sweets person so this was perfect. I couldn't really taste the pandan otherwise would've been a 4.5. This definitely has become one of my favorites so will be coming back frequently when I can!

My group made a reservation for Saturday night dinner, and it was the first time I came back in a while, but we enjoyed our dinner experience at One Fish Raw Bar. The restaurant is located in downtown Campbell and there's plenty of street and garage parking. The restaurant itself had very simple, clean, and modern feel and was very intimate. The menu changes daily based on what's available, and we had the choice to do family sharing style ($125/person) or al la carte. Since the menu wasn't super extensive, we decided to give family style a try so we didn't have to think about what to order and how much to order. The family sharing style came with 4 raw dishes, 4 starter/appetizer dishes, 3 main dishes, and 1 dessert. For our raw dishes round, I really enjoyed the salmon (with some type of chili oil), and the scallops with Chinese sausage. For the appetizer round, I really enjoyed the clam (although a bit small) and the potato chip with caviar (very creamy and flavorful). As for the main, I really enjoyed the cornbread although would say the ikura gets a bit covered up by the creamy sauce (although still incredibly delicious). We also got a short rib but I found it to be a bit heavy in the sauce and on the saltier side. The dessert was a chocolate peanut bar that felt like a very elevated snickers bar. Overall, food is pretty good even though on the pricier side and the service is excellent. This is definitely more of a special occasion kind of restaurant!

One Fish is our favorite restaurant in Campbell (and probably all of South Bay). The food is fresh, innovative, and delicious! Trent, Josh, Edalyn, Lucy, and Team are top-notch and truly passionate professionals. An evening here is less like a formal dinner, but rather more like a nice meal with friends (who freaking kill it in the kitchen and have an outstanding playlist). We love coming with our pups and enjoying the outdoor seating. The food and vibes are perfect for a true happy dinner party feel! If you're looking for big portions and/or traditional sushi/sashimi, this isn't the place; go to Sushi Confidential down the street. It's most certainly quality over quantity at One Fish. Come with an open mind, a thirst for something new, and a hunger for an enjoyable dining experience. The pictures are from their Happy Hour (4p-5p Wed-Sun), a nice way to introduce yourself to One Fish.

Brought my husband here for his birthday celebration. I came in, thinking we would do the family style meal, but my husband didn't want me to pay over $125 per person, so we went with the Ala carte menu. We basically ordered everything off of the raw menu. The raw fish was really fresh/melt in your mouth!! Oysters - 3/5 - not much flavor. Ahi tuna - 3/5 - kind of bland. Sushi roll - I think it was the dragon roll? 2.5/5 - the rice seemed...undercooked/dried out? The rice didn't have much flavor. This was my least favorite. Hamachi poblano & chorizo - 5/5 - we loved this! More flavor and the fish melted in our mouths. Halibut with pineapple & tomatillo - 4.5/5 - loved this too. Interesting flavors with the sweetness of the pineapple. Albacore with tuna tataki & fiji apples - 4/5 - pretty tasty too! Cornbread - 5/5 - definitely must order this! It's pretty unique. My husband couldn't stop talking about this one. We loved how it had a "crust" texture with every bite. Service was great! Nice ambiance. I recommend making reservations, just in case. They even gave my hubby a bday dessert which was fantastic! Pricey date night spot, but creative flavors.

Came here for the valentines tasting menu, service was great, everyone was super friendly. Very clean and quiet inside. The food is very unique, it's definitely a fusion take on a lot of dishes and most things I forgot what it was but ate it happily. Overall the food was good I don't think I was shockingly amazed at anything but I did enjoy the food thoroughly! For the price though I feel I could get something I personally would enjoy more else where.

My husband and I popped into One Fish Raw Bar for the first time on Saturday for a late lunch, little did we know we were in for an amazing treat. Everything--truly everything--was delicious. Trent took great care of us and offered spot-on recommendations. We shared the chowder, cornbread, hamachi, salmon, and kampachi. The presentation was beautiful, the service impeccable, and the food absolutely off the charts--fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully prepared. With just five small plates, we felt like we traveled the culinary world, hitting some of our favorite flavors from Thailand, Mexico, and Japan. We weren't sure how the Irish chowder and cornbread would fit alongside the raw bar selections, but it all came together seamlessly. A fantastic experience from start to finish--we can't wait to return.

Oh yes it's expensive. Yes it's very unique. I posted a bit of the pictures. The experience is something I can't quite explain. Everything was unique and favorable. There is quite the selection of Sake for your liking. Some beers as well. Overall a unique experience with some friends. There are a few different dinning options. We were the only people in the restaurant. It is small. The only small complaint is perhaps a visit from the chef who we saw working and then left. Perhaps it's on purpose or perhaps I could have asked. But this kind of experience I would assume that. My fault maybe.

Exceptional food & service! We did the 9 course & every bite was delicious, no misses (rare)! Will def be returning (: black cod w/ xo (?) spicy sauce, hamachi poblano chorizo, Cornbread w/ Dill Cultured Cream Smoked Trout Roe, and caviar egg were the highlights!

Cornbread to die for

We came here Saturday upon recommendation from a family member. First impression upon walking in - it's small and sort of empty. Is it really that good? We went with the Omakase tasting menu, which seemed pricey at $125/person but was recommended. We were in for a TREAT - Food was absolutely excellent, inventive, creative and beautifully presented. Omakase was 3 "snacks", 3 more small dishes, 3 main dishes, and dessert. It was the perfect amount of food, with "snacks" being understated for the size of some of the dishes. Overall, I would come back here anytime. It truly is a gem and I don't think many people know about it yet, so get in while you can get a table!

4.5 rounded up cause the fam enjoyed the food and felt the $125 per person price was reasonable Everything was generally good. My only critiques are that the shirt rib gyoza or eggroll could have thinner skin. The thick skin is more western which is fine but I feel like the wrap fights with the short rib for attention. The dessert also could have been better. It was just ok for me. Overall, enjoyed our meals and will come back some day to try the 11 course tasting

How much are the tasting menus?

~$100 per person. With 2 drinks & tip our bill came out to ~$300. Definitely worth it though! You get a ton of food and we were absolutely stuffed & very happy with everything we tried.

The restaurant is located in a nice newer plaza area in Cupertino off the Vallco Parkway close to where Vallco Shopping Mall once stood. Parking is available in the parking garage in the plaza. The restaurant is medium size but maximizes the space efficiently with plenty of booths and tables for dine in. The modern decor is nice and sleek. Whereas the vibe is bustling and welcoming. We ordered the combo of 2 pounds of shrimp with heads on, garlic noodles, and 2 steamed rice. The seafood boil came out in a large silver bowl instead of the usual large clear bag. I found this to be much better in presentation. Everything was so delicious. The captain Loui sauce was so flavorful and sweet. The shrimp were plump and juicy. Garlic noodles were tasty. A couple of saucy yummy corn and potato were found in the bowl which was a good surprise. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Cap't Loui. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The combo options were a great deal. Free Ice cream popsicles for dessert were a nice surprise at the end. We will definitely be back as their seafood boil is one of the better options in the South Bay.

First time trying Locanda Sorrento, and I'm so glad we did!…read more We came on a Friday without a reservation and were fortunate enough to get a table before it got really busy. Within about 30 minutes, the restaurant was packed, so I definitely recommend making a reservation if you're planning to come during busy hours. For drinks, we ordered the Spritz and a glass of Pinot Grigio. For food, we tried the Fall Pear Burrata Salad with a side of chicken and the Cacio e Pepe V. Since we were sharing both dishes, our server was so kind and thoughtful enough to have the kitchen separate the portions and bring each of us our own plate. I really appreciated that extra touch! Both dishes were full of flavor, and we honestly had zero complaints. I can definitely say I found my new spot for pasta! But the dish that really stole the show for me was the Fall Pear Burrata Salad. The combination of flavors was incredible, and the fresh, authentic olive oil made such a noticeable difference. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. They also offer gluten-free pasta substitutions, which is a great option for those who need it. As for the service, everyone was very welcoming and attentive. Our experience from start to finish was wonderful, and we're definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu. Parking-wise, there is plenty of street parking as well as parking lots nearby, but it can get packed on busy days, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. Overall, a great first experience at Locanda Sorrento. Great food, wonderful service, and definitely a place I'll be returning to!

A New Favorite Local Gem: Exceptional Service, Scratch Kitchen Magic…read more We visited Shepherd & Sims for the first time yesterday for happy hour, and it exceeded our expectations from the moment we walked in. The host greeted us warmly, and that friendly, upbeat energy carried through the entire team. The space itself is gorgeous, featuring spacious indoor and patio seating, as well as an incredible full-bar display complete with a rolling library ladder. Our server, Kai, provided top-tier service. He gave us a wonderful breakdown of the menu, highlighting how the executive chef crafts everything in-house--from the blue corn tortillas and slider buns to the potato chips and onion dip. My husband had the ahi tuna tostada and a selection of daily oysters, both of which he absolutely devoured. I ordered the "Only Burger" slider, and after a little push from my husband and Kai (who accurately described the "awesome sauce" as an upgraded In-N-Out spread), I kept the sauce on--and I'm so glad I did! The slider was flawless in both size and flavor. Paired with those ultra-crispy, perfectly salted homemade chips and dip, we left completely satisfied. We will without a doubt be returning again and again--and bringing friends next time!

We usually sat in their lovely covered outdoor patio, but this time we decided to sit at one of the high tables in the bar area inside. Their modern and upscale interior looked very welcoming. Service was friendly. Instead of my usual Sip n' Slurp Combo, I decided to try their Taco 'Bout a Lady Combo. It came with a glass of sauvignon blanc and a beer battered fish taco with cabbage slaw, avocado tomatillo salsa, creama and cilantro on top. The fish was piping hot and its size was decent. Every bite was delish. My husband enjoyed his go-to Combo: One-Hitter Quitter, which included a smash burger, a shot of whiskey and a beer. He added fried as well. I had some of his fries, and they're hot, crispy on the outside and well-seasoned. We also shared an order of Mushroom Cigars, which had 3 "cigars" with different types of mushrooms wrapped in phyllo dough and a side of sundried tomato tappenade. We liked this dish a lot as we both loved mushrooms. Another delicious and satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Until next time!
