The only downside is that it can be very crowded later in the mornings during peak season weekends, so sometimes we skip the long lines and go down to Road Hog for breakfast, but most of the time, we do fine there! It's our family's go-to place for breakfast and lunch since the location is perfect for anyone staying on Monkey Island, and all of the food to date has been delicious and inexpensive!

The waitress saw us walk in, sit down, and never came over. There were two of us who waited for 15 minutes, and there were only about 4-5 other tables with people eating. This place is small to begin with, and so it's not that difficult to bring menus and drinks in a timely manner. Again, it makes me sad to write this, but enough is enough. If Ms. Donna had a new waitstaff and improved customer service, this place would be 5 stars in my book. It has a covered gazebo with a sectional sofa, dinning table and two more chairs to lounge on. They also have a large gas grill in excellent condition. It was so nice because we did not have to take anything out, which made departure day a lot smoother. At your request they will bring you margaritas after 5:00 PM. The resort sits in a lake which makes it convenient for those who have boats. We were going to stay two nights, but ended up staying three nights. They do have two restaurants and bar you can enjoy if you don't feel like cooking. Hours vary, but the packet you receive has all the information you need. It is gated which makes it feel safe. Will definitely be back.
