Despite the stores large variety of options the management is awful! Amanda who helped me try on many dresses was amazing. The seamstress Lynn was incredible & more than willing to alter the size 14 dress to a 6 which is what I needed. Lynn was extremely well versed & experienced, explaining exactly how she would alter the dress for me. I fully explained to them prior to arriving I was on a time crunch, getting married in 3 months, and understood a rack dress would have to suffice with alterations. The management tried to FORCE me to order the dress I wanted, knowing full well it would NEVER be in on time, or would be extremely short time frame to alter. A consultation for alterations was done & I paid for it. Again Lynn was extremely kind. When my bridesmaid found the dress in a 10 somewhere else & I told OEE I would be back the management (a short red head apparently an owner) was extremely rude, arrogant & with a terrible attitude. I will NEVER return to this store / recommend them. Management needs an attitude fix quick, such a shame for a nice store. read more

I truly do not write reviews but I feel obligated to after seeing all of these negative reviews. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this store is being blacklisted by some catty customer or other business in the area. I'm sorry if I'm not supposed to say that, but I feel it could be a possibility. I went to this lovely store with my mother and 17 year old daughter for a homecoming dress for her senior year. She has been dreaming of a Sheri Hill dress for years, so I figured for her senior year, we'd splurge. The woman at the front was so friendly and well spoken. She clearly explained the process and we filled out a small form with our address and school, etc. She pointed us to my daughters size and away we went. Someone would come take dresses from us to put in the dressing room and the entire process was so orderly. She must have tried on 10 dresses anywhere in price from $300 to $700. She honestly looked great in all of them and in the end, after about an hour of trying on, she picked one dress that happened to be the cheapest. There was no pressure to buy anything more expensive and the lovely young girls that helped her adjust her dresses in front of the large mirrors brought her out a beautiful pair of shoes to try on with the dress she ended up picking. We actually asked them to do this. It was not pressured on us at all. The shoes looked perfect so we ended up getting those as well. They did show us some earrings too but we ended up not getting those as I have a pair at home that would better suit my daughter. They checked to make sure no one at my daughters school had the same dress and luckily, no one did. Checkout process was smooth and out the door we went. My only small complaint was that the checkout girl was the same girl that greeted people as they came in, so it got a little hectic. But all was good. I hope this positive review helps people decide to come here. We are an hour and a half away and are looking forward to coming back for prom! read more

When walking in the front door, I held such high expectations...the store was nice, in a quaint little town with a tremendous selection, however I quickly found out appearances aren't everything! The customer service was the absolute worst, the sales associates wore no smiles, were not friendly, and did absolutely nothing to help. We carried our own dresses, had to request a dressing room, and they don't even help with zippers and buttons even though they won't let mothers or friends back to help. I had 3 girls there to buy dresses, fully prepared to spend upwards of $2000 and walked out empty handed out of complete irritation. The bridal consultant was very nice, but the dresses just weren't my style. None of them. And putting me in bright red stiletto stripper heels while I tried on wedding dresses didn't really add to the ambiance I was going for. These people don't make a bride feel special. They cater to the teenager prom girls. They have two diligent employees, but the rest are young girls who are not competent. The dress wasn't ready for pick up. They claimed it had to be re-steamed because it got wrinkled, but the fact is that they just weren't ready. When told that we would tell people about the poor service received, the male owner threatened us and said that if we did, "I will get you." North Allegheny students should shy away or get all the information up front so you aren't surprised right before your big dance. read more

Overly expensive (149) for alterations and you pick up the dress and the hem is buckled and crooked plus very wrinkled. Then the high school girl who works there ( the owner is never around) tells you to hang it in the bathroom and run the shower and steam it yourself. I can't make this stuff up. I went here to look for bridesmaid dresses. There were four of us trying on dresses, the bride to be and her grandmother. Our bridal consultant was horrible. We had an appointment and she kept disappearing without saying anything to us. We were left to mostly fend for ourselves to get the dresses on and zipped/pulled back. The consultant pressured me into trying on strapless dresses which I am not comfortable in. She said I was not chesty (I am a 36 D). She also insinuated I did not know my dress size since the size 10 I was in was tight and I am normally a size 5-6. She upset another girl in the party with comments about her weight. In regards to the owner's comment. I did not say anything to the consultant about fearing I would not look good in many styles of dresses. I am well aware there are countless styles that flatter me. I simply told her I was chesty and she laughed and said I wasn't. Avoiding strapless dresses is just a matter of person preference, and had nothing to do with the comment about my chest. Edit (again): The bride decided to go with the dresses from this shop. I will update my review after the fitting and receiving the dress. By far the WORST experience, customer service, and overall management I have ever encounter. From the owner down to the rude bridal receptionist, I can't speak more negatively about this place. It doesn't even deserve to still be in business and I have told so many people about my wedding dress experience here. It was the worst part of my entire wedding planning process, which you'd think it would be the best and happiest. The staff couldn't have been more clear that once you purchase your dress in full, you mean absolutely nothing to them. I had so many issues with mine and nothing was handled correctly. And all of the issues were due to miscommunication on their end with the designer, lack of care and professionalism. Please read these reviews! I had horrible experience at One Enchanted Evening. I tried on a dress on 2 separate occasions, was measured for it, and it was purchased in January with a no return policy. I didn't expect after it arrived in June that it would be the wrong size, especially since they measured me and told me it was the right size. On top of my disappointment, the woman waiting on me indicted that perhaps things had "changed" since I was fitted in January. I am 5'5" 1/2 and weight 115 pounds the same weight and height I was in January. This was insulting. They even suggested that I could purchase spandex to help the fit! It was implied that they could not have made an error, I must have gained weight! They did take the tight area out 1/2 inch which was not enough. They tried to convince me that it didn't look "that bad" but it looked horrible. Now I am stuck with a dress that is not wearable because of their measurement error. All I can do now is try to get a professional to some how alter it so it is wearable. Since the event is in October, it will not give me enough time to get a dress ordered from another bridal store. My advice is to take your business elsewhere. read more

Very disappointed in customer service. My daughters wedding dress took 10 months to come in after ordering. She traveled here from out of town for a 12 appt and they didn't seem prepared for her . Never saw a seamstress despite having an appointment. Glad we had other options in mind for alterations and the dress fit near perfectly. Not impressed with this business. When I went in a few months ago to look for a mother of bride and a mother of groom dress( 2 kids getting married this year) I was shown dresses that I specifically stated I would not be interested in and then sales associate walked away from me. I chose to shop at One Enchanted Evening for my prom dress this year. I loved their selection of dresses that were beautiful and decently priced. The first time I went in to shop, I found a dress that I loved right away. My only complaint about the staff was that it consisted of teenage girls who were very chatty with each other. It's easily ignored, it was just very unprofessional and annoying. I had to roll my eyes quite a few times. Also, it was extremely busy and there was hardly any room to walk, but my experience was still a good one and I walked out happy. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my second stop there. I had my fitting appointment scheduled at 11am on a Saturday. The shop was not nearly as busy as it was the last time. In fact there were maybe only ten people in the store total and four staff members. I got into my dress and waited outside of the fitting doors. I stood there in my dress for over half an hour and no one even acknowledged me. It wasn't until I asked if I was ever going to be seen that someone told me the problem: they were short a seamstress and were busy with fittings. I only saw one other girl getting fitted though. If this is the case it would have been nice to have gotten a call so that I could have come in later or rescheduled. When a seamstress finally called me into the room, a staff member came in and said that another girl was before me. The girl she was referring to that was "in front of me" had JUST picked out her dress, did not have an appointment like I did, and was clearly friends with the staff members. I explained that, no, I had an appointment at 11:15 (It was now 12pm!!!). It didn't matter, the seamstress took the other girl before me. I was livid especially because I had to work at 1pm. I hate that this horrible experience happened because the next seamstress that came in to help me was extremely nice. She really took her time to make sure my dress fit perfectly. I haven't gotten it back yet but I'm sure it will be great. This seamstress was the ONLY one to apologize for the long and inconvenient wait. It's a shame that I had such a bad experience the second time because I had really enjoyed it before. read more

Customer service was good, however the woman sizing us to order our bridesmaids dresses had no idea what she was doing. I tried on an 8, which fit perfectly, and she ordered me a 16. She insisted that the 8 was just stretched out and the 16 was the right choice. She did this with the entire group of bridesmaids. I went to a seamstress (NOT at OEE) and she said I could have easily gone down 2 or 3 sizes. Now I am forced to have multiple dress fittings to make sure that the over-sized toga fits me correctly. Definitely will not be purchasing dresses here again! Good customer service does not make up for lack of sizing and fitting knowledge, or maybe it was just blatant over-sizing in hopes of us returning to the store so they can make extra income on our dress fittings. read more

This was a bad experience! They're communication was very poor about when the dresses would be ready. A simple call would have helped in explaining why and when the dresses would've been ready instead of playing cat and mice games. Plus the owner was very rude to me and it seemed that they only care about the sale and not the service. I can't believe there are so many negative reviews! OEE was the first and only bridal salon that I visited when searching for my wedding dress. I had two other appointments scheduled, but I canceled them after finding my dream dress as OEE. I brought in pictures of what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, and they helped me find exactly what I wanted. They allowed me to voice my opinion, but the dress I ended up picking was one my consultant picked for me based on what she thought would look good on me. They know what they are doing, and are very good at helping to streamline the process. I ended up picking the third dress I tried on, but they let me try on 4-5 more just so I could be sure. Once I picked my dress, they had champagne ready for my family and I and helped us celebrate. I did not feel rushed, and everyone in the shop complimented me while in my dress. Overall, I felt like a princess while I was there, which made the experience very special! I would highly recommend this bridal store!! read more

I was double-charged for an $800 dress. Emailed the store - got a call back 11 hours later with a promise of resolution before close of business (8pm). Called at 7:55 and got no answer. I was referenced to One Enchanted Evening by a friend who said it was always a great experience. This, however, is not true. -While walking around the dressing room, I hear the high-school aged staff making impolite and spiteful comments (which I do not care to repeat) about the customers. -There were at least ten employees working there that afternoon and only one occasionally paid some attention to me. In the end I started to zip my own dresses because I was tired of standing and waiting for the employees. I also had several of them rudely push their way in front of me. -I find one dress, however it needed altering. I ask an employe if I could ask the seamstress a question and she says of course. I walk onto the catwalk and wait for ten minutes in my dress while everyone is watching me. I eventually change back because it was uncomfortable and I waited for another ten minutes in my street clothes. My aunt had to find a manger for someone to start paying attention. The seamstress comes up to me on the catwalk and unclips my dress in front of everyone. This dress was very loose and my underwear (bottoms) was exposed. She then proceeds to tell me the cost and leaves me very exposed. It was very embarrassing. -As I am leaving, I walk past the seamstress. She asks me if I am getting the dress that needs altered and I say no thank you. She curtly said "ok" and did not say "bye" or anything pleasant. -Overall, I was very disappointed in this establishment (If you would like to call it that). I highly recommend that you not visit this place. The customer service is horrible and there was a limited selection of dresses. Unless you would like to have your underwear shown to the entire store, do not go there. read more

My niece purchased a Sherri Hill prom gown from this establishment. The beads started falling off the gown before the grand march and before the prom dance even started. Instead of owning up that they sold her a defective gown they tried to blame her stating someone must have stepped on it or she scooted around too much which made the beads fall off. Your solution of having the gown repaired so it can be resold is an absolute disgrace. Shameful!! Do not buy from Enchanted Evening in Zelienople. If you do you'll be disappointed. read more

I'll first start off by saying that One Enchanted Evenings dresses are gorgeous if they aren't picked over already, But I hate to say that it is all they have going for them at this shop. The customer service here is not good at all. There are huge mistakes being made that could've effected my daughter going to prom at all this year with the dress we paid a lot for. This is the second year I've had a problem with One Enchanted Evening! My daughter & I have gone through two proms & two other formals in her junior & senior year that we have come back (stupidly because it was closer to us) to get dresses. We have spent a lot of money at this place and for the rude way we have been treated, I will never return back for another. I let the other problems go in years past but this time I had to give a review on this dress shop. We had an appointment set with them this past week & we made a conference call between my daughter and a family friend(because of the problems we've had in the past with them) to schedule a dress alteration. We went in to the set appointment time & they told us that we were days late for the appointment and because they were so busy we couldn't get in. We had two people that confirmed that appointment time on our end & looks like someone AGAIN messed up on their end. I would've said it was our fault but we had two people that heard the appointment time on our end. If I wasn't anticipating something going wrong with this appointment I would've been more upset, but knowing something would, I set up another appointment (just in case )with another seamstress, at a different place(thank goodness!) I just can't relay how disappointing it is to have a dress shop so close to where we live, but always experiencing problems every time we go in for something or another. I'm pretty upset with the way I was treated here. With the exception of AnneMarie, Kristine and the alterations department- that store is atrocious. The first time I came to look at dresses, a blonde woman by the name of Kim was very rude to me and my mother. Couldn't be bothered to help me at all. We agreed to try again thinking I could try and avoid the unpleasant Kim, and I totally lucked out with AnneMarie. Wow, was she amazing. She made me feel like a bride and took so much time helping me find the perfect dress!! The first dress she pulled off the rack ended up being the dress I got! So after I purchase my dress, I thought "Okay, maybe they will treat me like an actual customer." I was wrong, they gave me no notice of my dress being in. No notice of fittings- it seemed I was always tracking them down. The alterations department is awesome. Basically this store customer service sucks and you can't try on a dress unless you want to parade it in front of all the other moms and girls. read more

They have beautiful dresses, but are desperately understaffed. As a father I rarely take my daughter out to shop for dresses and desperately rely on the staff to help.after an hour and a half of looking at dresses I turned to the other customers for their womanly opinions. It was at that point a friend of the owner started to assist my daughter with selection of dresses. After finding a beautiful dress that cost $640 I had asked for them to place the dress on hold until my wife could approve the dress since I really did not have the experience to justify a proper fitting of dresses. When I returned home with my daughter. My daughter had asked her mother to put a deposit down on the dress so that it would not be sold before that she could return with her mother. My wife agreed to place a down payment on the dress,and my daughter proceeded to do that. When calling one enchanted evening to place a down payment on her dress the owner was incredibly rude considering we were about to spend over $640 for a prom dress. The owner had placed my daughter on hold for over 20 minutes and then hung up the phone. My daughter redialed to talk to an individual about the purchase of her dress and even that was a difficult task for the employees at one enchanted evening. My daughter, disgusted with the treatment she received when trying to purchase a dress for her senior prom, placed a tweet to enchanted evening's Twitter page. Even after the dress was purchased the owner continued with her rude conduct by calling my daughter to complain about the tweets she had posted on their (One enchanted evening's) page about the poor/unprofessional treatment of a costumer. What the owner did not realize was that when she went to call my daughter, my daughters phone was connected to the car by Bluetooth, and Not only did my daughter here the unprofessional remarks from the owner, but my wife and I were able to hear her rude remarks as well. When my wife decided that she would speak up and explain to the owner she was on speakerphone the owner Immediately decided that she could no longer hear the conversation even though my wife's phone showed she had over four bars on her phone. if you're looking for customer service when looking for a dress, this is not the place to shop. read more

I heard about this place through some girlfriends at school. Everybody was talking about their prom dress being from One Enchanted Evening, so i decided to check it out. I loved my experience there. There are so many choices to choose from and surprisingly all the dresses fit well. They have an amazing place where once youve changed they turn out the lights and you stand in front of a massive mirror and disco ball so you can see the dress shine. All the workers were sweet and extremely helpful. I was surprised because youd think they would be irritated because of all the people there and they werent. Its ultimately what it would look like at the event. I would highly recomment checking it out! read more

Unfortunately I can't recommend this business to anyone because of a bad experience my niece and her daughter had with the purchase of a prom gown. The owner sold my niece a gown that appeared to have been worn. It had grease stains on it and one of the spaghetti straps was frayed from what appeared to be prior use. In addition there were scuff marks on the gown. If this isn't bad enough, the owner refused to take responsibility for these issues and actually chased my niece out of the store when she opened up to discuss these issues with the owner! It truly was one of the most UNPROFESSIONAL experiences I've ever heard of. read more

Great selection of beautiful gowns and homecoming dresses. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My daughter's prom dress needed some major alterations including a bustle for the train and they did a perfect job the first time. We drive an hour each way to buy our dresses here and it is well worth it. If you are a Sherri Hill lover, their selection is fantastic, especially if your daughter is larger than a size 4. They have a great selection in every size which is such a relief. Next year we will go in January for a prom dress. We didn't go until March this year and we cut it very close. Still, they came through for us and were wonderful. Highly recommend!!! read more

If I could write a review with 0 stars I would. Went to One Enchanted Evening for 1st time prom dress shopping. What a horrible experience. Apparently we went during the busiest time of the year, they had call offs and were short staffed...how did I know this? I know this because every 2 hours I had to listen to the owner come out on the "stage" clapping her hands telling us this same speech. She also told us "we have rules here" you are allowed 5 dresses at a time. Your child has to go back alone to try on the dress, no parents are allowed in the dressing room area. The owner let us (all 50+ people) know the reason for this is because she doesn't want anyone stomping on the dresses. You are not allowed to hold a dress if your daughter is trying on her 5, because they spend many hours steaming the dresses and they will get wrinkled (she also told everyone this). No one helped us find dresses or pointed us in the direction of where to find the style that my daughter liked. The dresses are organized by designer rather than style. When I would ask where I could find a certain style, I was told it could be anywhere. Staff is very young and unexperienced. Staff (most staff) can come across rude, but honestly it's clear they are only leading by example. I wouldn't spend a dollar at this place. Some words of advice to the owner, your customers do not care to hear any lecture or excuses as to why your short staffed. Have that talk with your staff and ensure your customers don't know your short staffed. Another word of advice, don't come out clapping your hands, shushing your customers. When someones spending a minimum of 500.00, we don't appreciate YOU doing that. You need a lot of customer service training YOURSELF, and then you need to retrain your staff. Worst experience I've ever had, very long story however I can say that I am a freshman in high school and I felt as if I were being bullied by the owner of One Enchanted Evening. At the end of the day she told me (14 years old) to get out of her store with my dress or she will call the cops. My mom called them for her. She also told me that I have problems because of my breathing and told me to " not stick out my ribcage". This was all because I told her the dress was uncomfortable and too tight, she refused to believe me. She also said her seamstress did all that she could to take out the dress. There was no indication of the dress Being altered and she refused a refund or store credit. Do not go to this business, I highly recommend going to a different bridal shop. Ladies - DO NOT GET YOUR BRIDESMAID OR WEDDING GOWNS AT ONE ENCHANTED EVENING!!! I had an absolute nightmare of an experience. First, I was heckled over the size dress I wanted to purchase, which felt like they only cared about getting my money for alterations. Second, I signed a binding contract (that nearly felt like I was giving them my first born child) and paid for the dress in full. A few weeks later, I received a call to double check that they ordered the correct dress that I signed the contract for. Little to no surprise, it was an incorrect dress. Finally, when I got the call to pick up the corrected dress, they informed me that I owed additional money for "changing my dress", however they wrote down the wrong dress number! Their excuse was human error, which is true, no one is perfect, but the manager should have owned up to the mistake and honored the price I was quoted. I would absolutely not trust them with the dress you will wear on the most important day of your life. I wish I could give them negative stars. read more

I had a great experience at One Enchanted Evening! They have such a large dress selection to choose from and the staff was so helpful. My consultant was amazing and took time to really understand what I was looking for. I visited a few other boutiques and One Enchanted Evening was by far the best! The store is super clean, fancy, and very organized compared to other stores I've been inside of. They have pretty chandeliers and large "princess" type mirrors that really made the experience different for me. The staff went the extra mile to make me feel beautiful. Although they were busy with customers, I felt like the only person in the room! I highly recommend shopping for your wedding gown or prom dress at this store! If I could I would give this place negative stars and post a giant billboard as to how terrible they are! I purchased my wedding dress on 7/16/17 and also fell in LOVE with the belt the associate had choose to have me try on. The belt had a stain on it which I was informed they would sew a new ribbon on it for me and we could pick it up! GREAT it was perfect!! Well in November my maid of honor went to pick up the belt since her and my dads girlfriend split the cost of this $250 belt and they told her it was NOT done yet....it should've taken 5 minutes and within 5 months it was not done yet?! So fast forward to January and when I called to ask they sounded very fishy as to them not knowing where my belt was or that they lost it... they wanted my maid of honor to text their personal number with a description of the person who told her it wasn't done yet....a week later they call me and tell me it was done. Now on 3/10/18 almost 8 months after purchasing my maid of honor picks up the belt and it's NO WHERE NEAR MY BELT! I go to the store today and told them I want my belt and I want the money refunded for it! She looked at me and said "you want your belt for free"? Yes I want me belt for free! It's been 8 months and you guys knew months ago that no one even put the belt I originally bought aside for me! What do restaurants do when they screw up your food? You get it for free! The big difference here is people go out to eat all the time and you only get married once! There was no talk of even ordering my correct belt and she offered me a candle and said "sorry I know it isn't much". Lady I don't want your freaking candle. I want you to fix my wedding day that you ruined! She said "well you still have time" (because my wedding isn't till September) It doesn't matter that I still have time! I now have a wedding dress that isn't what I want because the belt is the reason it pulled the whole dress together and that I cried for and got that magical experience from. Thanks for ruining my wedding day and not giving any effort into fixing it! Had a decent selection of dresses. Had a good experience finding, trying on and purchasing the dress, but the issue i had was the alterations? we got the alterations done on my dress about two weeks after i purchased my dress at the store we walked down stairs into the alterations department and i put my dress on.... The lady who measured me and did my alterations couldn't of been more rude!! Not to mention when i got my dress back a week before prom, the alterations were horribly off. i live about 45 minutes away from the store and still attend school so i had my mom drive up to the store and pick it up for me. When i tried it on the dress barely even fit me anymore. the straps were pulled entirely too high and the bra cups were put too high on the dress and in the wrong place!!!! We spent a decent amount of money on this dress and the alterations do we were very dissapointed with how horrible the dress came back to us. Now with only 4 days left until my prom, my mom is going to attempt to fix it herself. Moral of the story is that buying a dress here is fine, but DO NOT get your alterations done here!!! read more

I can't say enough about my experience at One Enchanted Evening. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, from booking the appointment to purchasing my dress. I felt very lucky to have Kim as my consultant. She made the process very enjoyable and chose gorgeous gowns for me to try that were within my budget. I selected a couple that were a bit outside my budget, and she made sure I was aware of that prior to taking them into the dressing room to respect how much I wanted to spend. She was extremely patient and made me laugh countless times throughout my appointment. My granddaughter and I went there to buy her first prom dress. We chose a 600 dollar dress which we had to make payments on. Two weeks before the prom and after having paid 400 dollars my granddaughters date cancelled. I tried to figure out a solution to my problem with linda(credit, refund, exchange) to no avail. She was rude and had no compassion toward our situation. It was just too bad for you and nothing can be done. Please be advised, don't go there , you will be sorry. There were very few dress options and the ones that were available in my size were ugly. Keep in mind, I wear a 4 so that's a pretty average size, you'd think there would be more options for average sizes! The women there were pushy and mean and not helpful. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Do not go here for prom dresses. The service was terrible. Promised that my ($500) dress could be altered by the manager and employees..... Went in and the seamstress said no. Therefore I was stuck with a non refundable dress. Next I was told by an employee that infact I did have enough room...... excuse me????? Are you in the dress??? Had to find a new dress, $825 later I came back to check on the finished product and the simple alterations ($200) were butchered at the bottom and WAY less than perfect... Which you expect for $200. DO NOT GO HERE OVER PRICED AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not accommodating what so ever. On Enchanted Evening bridal shop in Wexford, PA has been an absolute nightmare. After finding my dream dress there, we were required to pay 80% upfront. After they had my money it was all downhill from there. First, they promised me 10% off my bridesmaid dresses if I ordered them from there since I got my wedding dress there. It sounded like a good deal so I ordered 5 different style bridesmaid dresses (same brand). As my bridesmaids were putting in their orders, OEE said no you cannot have 10% off since they are different styles and would require separate shipping. I immediately spoke to the manager, Donna, and told her that I was not aware of this stipulation and would like to cancel the dress orders and order them elsewhere. Donna quickly changed her mind and said we could have the 10% off. My bridesmaids continued to have difficulty getting the 10%. I had my fiancé call in to straighten things our again with Donna. It was finally resolved after 2 weeks. Each bridesmaid was required to put 60% down. Before the bridesmaid dresses were officially ordered, Donna called me and we went over the orders again. 3 dresses in tea length 2 dresses in full length. I stressed the different lengths but I did notice she didn't seem concerned with the lengths. Four months later my wedding dress came in. When I went in to try it on, they tried to stuff me in a tiny fitting room not the wedding dress large rooms. I told them no and they put me in the large room. A month later the bridesmaid dresses came in. My sister went in to see her dress. She tried it on and got fitted for it. For the hem, it was going to be $85. My sister wrote them a check and left upset. She called me and I told her that price was too high and to get her money back. She called them back and they said they would charge her $25 for wasting their time and would mail the $85 check back. They took her debit card number to charge the $25. My fiancé called Donna again to straighten things out but Donna refused to refund in full the $85 and said it cost $25 of her time. The next day, another bridesmaid went in to get her dress. It was not tea length. They said it would be $40 to fix it and they had no record that the dress was to be tea length. Lie. That bridesmaid took her dress and left. That night she filed a complaint with the BBB. Two days later I went in to rescue all the dresses. Apparently the alterations were going to be expensive so we were all going to get our dresses altered elsewhere. Also, I had lost trust in OEE and wanted to be rid of them. Before I went in I spoke to the manager Donna again about all the mistakes. Donna now said she would now fix the short length dress for free. I recapped with her that 3 dresses were to be short and 2 long. I also told her I wanted my dress and slip ready for pick up at 3pm. She said everything was good and everything would be ready. At 3pm I went to One Enchanted Evening. Donna was there. I asked for my dresses. They went to the back and another dress was the wrong length. I asked her what had happened with this dress and she said, "I didn't know this dress was to be short." Lie again. This was probably the 3rd time I had told her the dress was to be short. I told her this and she said she would fix it for free. I then asked her for my wedding dress and she turned around and left with another customer. I paid for the balance on the rest of the dresses then all the employees disappeared. 15 minutes later I found an employee and told her if someone didn't get my dresses I was going to be very angry and started to cry. 10 minutes later they brought out all the dresses. They said they would have to pull the straight pins out of my sister's dress. I asked why since she paid $25 for wasting their time surely she could keep the straight pins in. Donna started to argue with me and I told her I was leaving. Hopefully forever. I told my fiancé of the incident and since the manager Donna seemed to be of no help in the past, he called the owner. When he called the owner, he asked for her name after giving his name and said he wanted to file a complaint. The owner would not give her name and hung up on him. He called her back and they got into a heated argument. The owner said she did not care about the incidents and hung up on him again. When I got home I discovered they gave me the wrong size slip. My sister checked her bank account and they had cashed the $85 check. She called the store back and they said "The bride took the dresses and said she would take care of everything so we cashed the check." We are currently still trying to resolve the matter. As you can see, once One Enchanted Evening had received my money they stopped being nice. I have never been so disrespected and treated so rudely in my life. read more
