It's going to be difficult to explain in a review how amazing and wonderful this experience was for my daughter and my family. My daughter made an appointment at this bridal shop to see wedding dresses and have a fitting. From the moment we walked in we were treated like special guests. Our person assigned to helping us was Jacqueline and she was kind, attentive and professional. She took a lot of time explaining the process to us about the dresses, the philosophy of the store and we were just all enthralled with all of it. What was truly amazing, was that she helped to select dresses based on what my daughter said she was looking for and brought exact dresses that she was hoping to see. Then she helped her into the dress and let her have the first look in the mirror at the dress before, opening the curtains and revealing the dress to the rest of us. I didn't know we were going to find the dress, but my daughter did and it was beyond anything I had ever expected. The entire experience was so memorable and enjoyable that I recommend that anybody who's looking for a dress and you're in this area of Pittsburgh, please go check out the store. I only had about four months to find a dress, so I knew I had to go somewhere where the dress I loved was the dress I could take home. My two-hour appointment with Monica was so wonderful. She was so kind and patient (I tried on my dress three times before deciding) and did not rush me even 1%, even when we were down to the last few minutes of my allotted time. I went home with a gorgeous gown that was different than what I had in mind, but she gave me confidence without being pushy that it was ok to love this dress even though it wasn't exactly what I was envisioning. And she was right! I am in love with my dress and can't wait to wear it. My second appointment for my veil and accessories was with Jacquelyn. The nicest, sweetest person who was so doting and positive the whole time. She listened to what I wanted for a veil and asked for my budget and we found the perfect one. I visited Luxe for my very first dress shopping location. I had no idea what to expect with this process, but let me tell you Jacquelyn made everything PERFECT. She was so nice, warm, and friendly. We immediately felt welcome and I felt like she listened to my wants when it came to my ideal wedding dress. She was knowledgeable and set the bar so amazingly high (we were disappointed that she couldn't come along with us to other bridal stores!). I did find a dress that I absolutely loved here, however, it wasn't the one I ultimately chose. I wasn't even planning on buying a dress at my first appointment, but my maid of honor was visiting from out of state & I wanted to go shopping with her while she was here, at least to get an idea of what I was looking for in a dress. Monica welcomed us in & got us settled, listened to my vague ideas of what I wanted, & came back with a beautiful selection of dresses for me to try on. I'm plus sized, so I was a little anxious about trying on dresses, but I felt like a princess the whole time! After about 5 or 6 dresses that were pretty, but not quite The One, we found the perfect dress & I was able to pay for half of it that day, & paid the other half the next month when I picked it up. All things wedding during a pandemic is slightly stressful. I really enjoyed the process here and it was the closest thing to normal that I've had so far during the wedding planning process. The set up there is so convenient. The dressing room is part of the sitting area for each group. All the dresses are brought to you. You stand by a mirror and they close the curtains around you. Then you hop into the dress with help from assistants, stand on the platform, and they open the curtain to reveal the dress to your guests. I had at least three dresses which were beautiful to choose from. I left with a dress in hand which is so relieving considering procurement takes so long with covid. She was SO sweet and made me feel like I was her only client that day. Took the time to get to know me (and my fiancé who wasn't even there) and made my mom and sister feel so welcomed. She took down notes of what styles I was interested in but also pulled a gown I never would have pulled for myself based on the "requirements" I had in mind, but she though the dress would look amazing on me. This dress she pulled instantly had us all in tears and was the second easiest yes I have ever made! 3. These gowns are designer but so affordable 4. Luxe Redux was FANTASTIC, even for my last-minute disaster. My now-husband called them when another bridal shop (MB Bride--stay away!!) left me without a dress five days before my wedding. Even as such a last minute problem, the consultants let me try on gowns without feeling like a burden and even offered to import dresses from their out-of-state locations to give me more options. Oh my goodness, Monica and Lindsey at Luxe Redux are so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and creative. I was so nervous that I was going to be hard-to-please and had zero expectations of finding my wedding dress on my first wedding dress shopping spree--but by the end of my appointment, we had created a CUSTOM DRESS. They asked all kinds of questions, listened to all of my likes/dislikes/insecurities/etc and said "ok what about this dress with this alteration?" and it was totally it. We had a wonderful experience here. Maya was absolutely the sweetest. I wasn't totally sure what I wanted and had just left a really bad appt with a snooty salesperson who only cared about making a sale. Maya was not just in it to sell me a dress. She really listened to me and pushed me out of my comfort zone a bit to try on some styles I hadn't yet. I ended up really loving one that was so different from what I thought I wanted. I still wasn't 100% on it because of how different it was, and needed some time to think it over. Not once did Maya make me feel bad about that and was more than helpful in answering questions and providing options for coming back if that's what I wanted to do (knowing that I was risking someone else snatching it). After thinking about it, I decided I want to keep looking, but I think it's only fair to share the great experience I had regardless of whether I found THE dress. I visited Luxe Redux this weekend and had such an incredible experience. My bridal consultant, Alexandra, was so fantastic. After a brief chat about the wedding, venue and my personal style, she started pulling dresses that immediately captured my personality and likes. Every single dress she pulled was spot on and showed she not only listened, but exemplified her level of expertise. The studio and staff were extremely conscious of covid guidelines, but managed to make the experience very warm and intimate at the same time. I had the BEST experience shopping here! This was my first time trying on wedding dresses, and Rebecca at the Pittsburgh location was so kind and patient with me. I had no idea what I was looking for, and she was incredibly helpful. She insisted on having me try on every style of dress, and was careful to stay within my budget, too. She was so encouraging, patient, and not the least-bit pushy. There were so many beautiful dresses there. :) In the end, I didn't find THE dress, but Rebecca followed up with me afterwards with an email of other dress suggestions from nearby stores that very much matched the style she helped me discover. When I bought my dress elsewhere, I told my sisters I was so glad I found the one, but also was sad I didn't get the chance to find it here.
