Multiple high school sales girls on the floor but none care to offer any help despite not having mirrors in the fitting rooms. If I'm spending $500 on a dress for my child, there should be a certain level of customer service. In addition, teenage girls are very self-conscious and do not want to come out in a gown half zipped and falling off them onto a big stage where an audience is sitting including men and teen boys! But you, the parent, are forbidden to go near the fitting rooms to assist your daughter. I tried and was threatened and refused service by the manager! Pitifully run establishment! read more

I went to OEE with my daughter to shop for my dress for her wedding. Suzanne was my consultant. She was very sweet and knowledgeable. I must have tried on a dozen dresses in the hour that we were allotted. Once I picked a dress that my daughter (and my husband) approved of Suzanne took my measurements. She went over all the information with me then sent me off to purchase it. The only thing that would have made the experience a little better is if I could have had a little more time and not felt a little rushed toward the end of the hour. Also, it would have been nice to have been in an area of the salon with less traffic. Over all, though, it was a good experience. read more

At first I thought this was going to be an amazing experience for my best friends wedding dress adventure, the staff was nice, we had champagne, and she said yes to the dress! Shortly after things went wrong QUICKLY. They ordered the wrong size dress (DIDNT even offer to size up or down) then had the audacity to charge her $600 to get it fixed...a mistake THEY made. At the time of her second fitting the staff couldn't even FIND her dress and made her waste 2 hours of driving there and back to say "Uhm come back next week" It was a terrible experience for not only her but her support system having to hear about this horrendous experience. 10/10 DO NOT GO HERE read more

My daughter and I had a fantastic experience at One Enchanted Evening!! She was looking for her prom dress. We had gone to two previous shops the day before with no luck. From the moment we walked into One Enchanted Evening we could feel we were going to be successful. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The shop is clean, well organized with the dresses on racks by size and covered in clear plastic to keep them protected and cared for, the store even smells wonderful. They were very busy but they have a system to keep in flowing. My daughter found her dress on the third one she tried on. There were so many wonderful choices!! We left happy and content and enjoyed the entire experience!!! read more

We ordered a Sherri Hill beaded dress via online at $650.00 so unable to view at time of purchase. With that being said, the dress we received was obviously off a rack, floor model, or used as the back was torn, zipper broken and beading coming off in several spots on the dress. This was not disclosed to me prior to the shipment/purchase. The return policy is 3 days return for another dress in their shop with the condition of this dress and the time frame in which we need for an event, I would not want another dress from them. I don't know who thinks it is okay to ship a dress as advertised new at full price that is damaged from wear/tear. I would never use this shop again. read more

If I could give 0 stars for this review I would. My bridal experience at OEE was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Please do your research prior to choosing OEE for your bridal gown search- you will find similar situations to my own, multiple law suits, and bullying tactics that are described below. What was supposed to be one of the best parts of wedding planning, turned into a nightmare. To make a very long story short, minutes after "saying yes to the dress" at this salon, I found myself regretting the gown I chose and immediately notified the staff to delay the purchase as I was no longer sure of my decision. They promptly told us that they could do nothing about this (though the order was not yet placed). They cited the contract that I signed moments before changing my mind and pointed out that all orders are nonrefundable. After much discussion, they agreed to delay the order until the next day. The next day mother called Linda S., owner, who within minutes of my moms inquiry interrupted her and said "lemme just stop you there. I will not offer you a refund. The contract you signed will hold up in court." The owner escalated quickly on the phone and threated a lawsuit before my mother had given a word of explaination. This was just the beginning of a long and humiliating process. After much persuasion, the owner offered that I may come to the store to try on other dresses. We scheduled an appointment for the next day to continue this discussion with the store associate and try on more dresses. Given that the gown had not yet been ordered, we asked to discuss the refund of our deposit first. We spoke with Cheryl who said there was nothing she could do, we implored her to speak with Linda. She went downstairs to speak with Linda and came up to tell us we could apply it to another bridal dress but no refund and that I would have 1 week to find another gown in their store. Again we asked to speak with Linda and again she didn't come to leave her office to speak with us. Her response via her associate was a time extension to 1 month. Finally, after asking to speak with the owner directly for the third time, she came out of her office to see us. --Just to remind you: no one had ordered my wedding dress, but they had kept my deposit of $1,600 dollars. I described to her that I felt pressured into purchasing the dress because I had been to many bridal salons and had yet to find the dress I was looking for. In my description of the event, I was in no way malicious or demanding, but merely attempted to describe to the owner what brought on my indecision. The owner then began to raise her voice and accused me of having "another dress" that I wanted to purchase from a different salon. At this point I became tearful as she repeatedly accused me of trying request a refund for some alterior motive. I again reiterated that I bought the dress because I DIDN'T find the dress I wanted. After multiple interruptions, the owner declared that I had no interest in looking for dresses at her store, threw the oringinal contract at my mother and I, and asked me to leave. I begged her to let me continue to look as she still held my dress deposit money despite not having placed an order for a gown. During this conversation my despair had increased and I was crying throughout. The owner felt that this meant that I was "too emotionally unstable to be in [her] store." And proceeded to document that I was not allowed to try on dresses until I was more "emotionally stable". Though this emotional and financial abuse continued, I will cut this story short by saying that I limited all of my interactions with the owner thereafter and was eventually (after months of discussion) permitted to use the dress deposit money for bridesmaid gown purchase. Overall, I wish I never stepped foot in OEE as it tarnished my bridal experience and resulted in money lost. read more

My wedding dress looked great and the streamstress did a great job with alterations I believe its the only store in Pittsburgh that carries the Pronovias line. The salesgirl who sold me the dress is sweet. However.... Many people think the store ripped us off and gave us a floor sample instead of a custom made dress that was paid for. The owner was extremely rude to customers once purchases have been made (she even slammed the phone on me). My dress was ordered in October 2009... sufficient time for our June 5, 2010 wedding. I was told that my dress would come February 2010. Incidentally, there was debacle earlier in April. When the dress didnt come in February 2010, the store was emphatic that my dress would come in April that I scheduled an appointment April 16. Im from out of town and it takes me about 5 hours to get to Wexford, PA. I told them I wanted to be sure the dress would be in before I took a day off of work and drove 5 hours. I called twice that week, and both times I was received a rude response AND a guarantee that the dress would be in before my appointment and that they didnt want me to need to call anymore. Well... the dress did not arrive and I never got a phone call telling me about it... so much for that guarantee, huh? I had to rearrange my schedule so i could account for a future alteration appt. I tried to not let the incident get to me.. i was annoyed but in the big picture.. i was getting married to my beloved fiance... so i opted to be forgiving... However, it was about a month before the wedding and I still didnt have my dress. It is very suspicious that the owner hung up the phone one me when I asked if she could provide a proof that she placed the order in October. This was April 28 and I think my mom and I had just cause to be concerned. It was less than 5 weeks to my wedding (June 5) and I didnt have a dress nor could the store prove that they ordered the dress. I get a phone call April 30 that my dress arrived. My coworkers and friends who are aware of the situation are convinced that it was a floor sample. I was relieved that I finally had something to wear for my my wedding but I also went through the hassle of rearranging my schedule at work and weekend to fit alteration appointments. Well even if I did get a floor sample (im 5ft, 100 lbs), after approximatley $400 - $500 worth of alterations the dress did turn out beautiful. I actually loved the dress. The end product turned out well. But the headache and extreme rudeness from the owner during the month before our wedding was NOT worth it. She did not reassure me that she placed the order and instead hung up on me. I could have found a Pronovias somewhere in the DC area like Hannelores or Carine's and skipped the headache. read more

I would not recommend this dress store to future brides. The workers do not communicate at all and we had an awful experience ordering my bridesmaids' dresses. One even came completely wrong and all they did was offer 25% off. They didn't even call me or apologize to me about the situation. Some of the girls had to send their contracts in several times even after they got an email from the store saying it was received. They also ordered my dress a size too small and assured me that it would be fine. I believed them since I never ordered a wedding dress before. Based on the other poor reviews, I feel like I owe OEE a decent one since I had a great experience. I had heard about the place from a friend who just purchased her dress a few days before I went, so didn't have any information on their delivery or alterations, but she raved about their selection. Well, I wasn't dissappointed! They have a really nice selection of dresses. My favorite part was that I could actually pick dresses that I liked as well as the consultant. Some other places just pulled for you so you never got to see the selection which wasn't what I wanted. My consultant Angie was funny and comfortable and never once pressured me into buying anything. I ended up finding my perfect dress and now just had to wait until it came in. She really helped make the experience easy for me. And again, based on what I saw at other places, she didn't pressure me at all. A few months later, my friend who recommended the place said that they were having a difficult time getting her dress in which really got me worried. BUT mine came in right when they said it would! The size they recommended was almost perfect so it hardly needed any alterations. The most difficult part of the alterations was the bustle but the seamstress they use spent a whole hour with me getting it perfectly pinned for her to sew the bustle. I literally gave 1 star because I liked that the dresses were sorted by size that's it. Lady at the front desk was very nice, as it was our first time there she explained everything in detail. Once we got in the back forget it. High school girls manning the dressing rooms, helping and talking in depth with their friends trying dresses on. I wandered back because it seriously took 15 minutes for my daughter to come out becuase she couldn't find anyone to zip her then I got yelled at becuase " moms can't come back" well maybe stop talking and hanging out by your friends dressing room and I wouldn't have had to. No mirrors except out on the floor where everyone can see you. Attendants friends had 5 boxes of shoes in front of the mirror with jewelry scattered around. It was ridiculous! There were 2 girls that were helpful, both had jackets on. One black.and one blue zip up that actually were helping people. My daughter heard 2 workers talking shit on a girl becuase 2 of her dresses were cut low on the side and a lot was exposed. What an awful experience. My daughter wanted to get more dresses to try on but said she had zero desire after hearing all that. Sucks that we have to drive 60-90 minutes to other stores but that's our plan next. I would recommend stay clear shopping with this retailer online. I bought a dress worth $1000 and change. A designer dress. Unfortunately the size was too big and needed to exchange for a lower size. However the Manger Gabby who is arrogant and condescending stated per their return policy they have a 3 day exchange starting from the day you receive the dress and exchange will only be done with in stock items at their store and not online for samenvalue or greater. Of course they had limited freshest for that designer and not to my taste. Basically they are tryi.g to force my hand to exchange with something I do not like or loose the dress. I asked if they could do a store credit that way I can get what I would like online and they Basically shut it down rudely! For a $1000 and change dress they should have a policy to be able to exchange online if not the have no business having a website just to restrict customers! Per the designer website itself they accept exchanges online within 30 days! Who are you to say you don't on your website when the dresses not even custom made by this retailer! Ridiculous! I had my cheesy moment of saying "yes to the dress" at One Enchanted Evening! When I first arrived for my bridal appointment in March, I was greeted by about 200 spray tanned high school girls trying on prom music, with Serena Gomez blasting in the background and overwhelmed sales associates in neon t-shorts screaming "jack of clubs" and other playing card names (I think this was their system for pulling "numbers" for dressing rooms). I thought, "no way will I find my wedding dress here." But I asked a sales associate where bridal was, and she pointed us towards a small door in the back. The bridal section was much quieter and nicer and less crowded. On a Saturday, I anticipated to be sharing space with many brides, but there were only two of us. My consultant was Michelle. She was so kind! I have seen the overpowering moms and entourages on Say Yes to the Dress, and I think she has too, because she said we would go through ALL the dresses alone without my entourage (mom and grandma) so she could my hear my unswayed opinions. We didn't go through every dress, mainly because I had picked a lot at the beginning and budget. One thing to keep in mind is that the dresses they have online are just every dress their designers make, NOT every sample they have. They have a TON of samples in store, but just because there's a dress online doesn't mean they have a sample in stock. I came in with a very particular look in mind, and I pulled about 10 dresses from Justin Alexander, Lillian West, Allure and Mori Lee. I only ended up trying 4 as we eliminated styles as we went. The first dress I tried on, my family loved. I also loved it, but Michelle made a point of asking how I felt once we were alone in the fitting room. She really wanted to make sure I was picking the dress I loved without feeling forced. In the end, I went with dress #1. I was really conflicted with what color to order, but Michelle gave me her opinions based on my skin tone and wedding aesthetic. She pulled the PERFECT hair piece for me too. Buyer beware!! I had a horrible experience trying to purchase a bridesmaid's dress for a friend's wedding. Being one of the few bridesmaids who lived out of town, they told me to provide measurements so that they could order the dress for me. Simple enough right? You'd think so. Despite knowing my measurements well, I went to my local tailor and got exact measurements because I wanted the best fit possible. When I called OEE with my measurements I was told that I was a size 14! In real life I am a size 2. I was extremely confused and restated my measurements, thinking that they must have heard something wrong. I asked the lady on the phone to confirm if she wrote down the correct measurements. I was rudely told that the measurements I provided "converted" to a size 14 for their dresses. Apparently their dress gets made overseas somewhere, where there is a different measurement system. I didn't think much of it after that, I promptly paid the $125 + $30 shipping cost for the dress and waited for the dress to arrive. After all who cares if I am size 14 or 140 as long as the dress fits me, right? Well when they dress arrived, it was big enough to fit two people sized like me. It was unwearable. I called the store immediately and explained that I have received the wrong dress. To my shock they said that I received the dress intended for me, and that they can't do anything about the dress not fitting me. I was just told to get the dress altered on my own. Panicked, I ran to two different tailors and got quotes for over a hundred dollars each in alterations. The whole dress needed to be reconstructed. I called OEE back and asked if they could cover some portion of the cost of my alteration since they clearly didn't "convert" my measurements right. The manager basically laughed at me and told me that they don't provide any guarantees that the dress would fit. What was the point of providing exact measurements and waiting for months, when all they do is throw a bed sheet with head and arm cutouts at you and let you deal with the rest? The dress was already paid for, and there was nothing I could do to get this rectified other than pay another $120 of my own to get it fixed. So yeah I paid $120 get a $125 dollar "custom" built dress fixed. I have never had such a bad experience with any store in my life, and thus felt the urge to provide my first negative review. They did a shitty job with my dress, and had an even worse customer service to follow-up their subpar work. In the end, it was just ok. I'd purchased prom gowns here years ago, and saw so many positive reviews online, so I included this store in my bridal journey. Pros: The bridal area is beautiful, the dimming lights and all the mirrors really helped make each dress shine. I thought the selection of gowns was smaller than other shops, but still highlighted some main designers in my budget range. A few cons with my experience... the woman helping me treated it like a transaction rather than an experience. It was one dress on, one dress off, one dress on, etc. Also, when I tried on ballgowns, they didn't offer different slips or hoop skirts to maximize the beauty of the dresses. And, the biggest deterrent was photos are prohibited here. I was here for 45 minutes, versus the usual 90-100 minutes of other bridal shops. read more

This store was recommended to me by a friend as we were looking for prom dresses. My daughter also liked the Sherri Hill brand dresses and One Enchanted Evening carries that brand. We arrived at 6 PM (they close at 8) and were pleasantly greeted by the owner and a sales woman. The woman explained the process to us and asked me to fill out an information form for my daughter. Then she sent us on our way to look around. There were plenty of dresses to choose from in a variety of sizes and they were all for sale off of the rack. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Sherri Hill dresses that my daughter liked (she saw them online). This didn't deter us. We initially found five dresses. No one is allowed to go into the fitting rooms except for the one trying on dresses due to privacy issues (others trying dresses on). There is one main area with a floor to ceiling mirror and a platform and everyone trying on dresses goes to the same place to show family and friends and to see themselves. There were plenty of sales people on the floor and they were all helpful and attentive. My ONLY complaint was that the salespeople weren't wearing name tags or anything to set themselves apart from anyone else in the store, so unless someone was helping my daughter I didn't know who was a customer and who wasn't. The salespeople were all younger also, so they blended right in with the shoppers. This is why I gave four stars instead of five. My daughter found a dress she loved and we purchased it that night. The entire experience was pleasant and we were both happy with how we were treated and with the amount of attention that was given to us. I will definitely shop here again! read more

Beautiful selection of dresses and the staff are very helpful . However , we were there on President's Day. Definitely busy but everyone seemed to be following the rules --you were able to take 5 gowns into the dressing room . After you try those 5 gowns , you come back out of the dressing room and pick 5 more gowns , then wait for an available dressing room. Things appeared to be flowing smoothly when a woman --I believe was the owner --stood up on the stage and literally yelled at the entire group of customers . Yelled how chaotic it was and everyone needed to follow the rules so "the girls don't spend 5 freaking hours in the dressing rooms ". Her condescending speech went on for about 10 minutes . I cannot believe the owner of a business would speak to her customers like this . These gowns are not cheap. I don't expect special treatment but basic customer service seems to be completely lost with this owner . We will not return . read more

This was by far the worst dress shopping experience of my life. OEE deserves negative stars. These people bribe people into giving good reviews by offering an incentive for doing so (in the form of credit towards accessories). Beware of any good reviews you see. I scheduled an appointment to try on wedding dresses. I emailed style numbers for the dresses I was interested in trying. The girl I originally spoke with told me they had "most" of the dresses I listed. Upon arrival, nobody was at the front desk. After about five minutes of waiting, a girl finally came out and asked if I needed help. I explained I was there for bridal. She told me to go into the bridal section where someone would help me. Again, I waited about ten minutes for any attention from a consultant. Once I met the consultant and explained that there were a number of dresses I wanted to try, she explained that they didn't even have the list that I had sent over. Needless to say, none of the dresses were pulled, either. I re-stated my list of preferred dresses to try and the consultant said that they had none of the dresses I was there to try. The consultant repeatedly stuck me in dresses and walked away, leaving me to wander around the store with a wedding dress on. My sister did attempt to help me out of dresses twice and the consultant rudely asked her to leave the fitting room area. I let the consultant know that my mother did not like a dress. She told me that I "should try on any dress" because "it's not anyone else's decision." As my family and I were walking through the aisles, my mother and sister were choosing dresses. She told my mom "She doesn't like V necks," and told me, "Your sister is looking at ball gowns--you'd better let her know you don't want a dress like that." I thought the way she treated my family was extremely rude, disrespectful, and condescending. First off, it's very clear that the employees lack communication. I was told multiple different things my different people. Highly unprofessional. Employees are also extremely inattentive. Again, highly unprofessional and shows lack of caring about customers. Promising dresses to try and not having them is super disappointing as well. I wanted my family to be involved in the decision process as much as possible and the consultant made it nearly impossible. Bottom line: Don't even waste your time at this sad excuse for a dress shop. Edit to my review/reply to Linda's comment: Busyness is no excuse for this experience. I can assure you nobody was working hard or moving quickly to find dresses I asked about or get me out of dresses I tried on. I called to get the style number because I planned to look and purchase the dress elsewhere which is why I'm sure you are unable to give out style numbers. What a joke of a business they are very judgmental. They have lots of young and rude 16 and 17 year olds working here that don't have proper business etiquette at all. We both know they had nice dresses. But it was definitely not worth what we had to go through while being there. When me and my daughter were looking around at the dresses she noticed that some of the girls that work there she went to school with and she then immediately wanted to leave. She then was telling me that the young girls names are Erica and Brandi and that they picked on her in school. It saddens me as a mother for children to be so rude nowadays. But I tried to reassure my daughter to just have fun trying on some dresses and they shouldn't bother you, it was a place of business after all. But after my daughter finally started to try on some dresses and she was coming out and showing me each dress everything was going fine. At least that was until I noticed a group of young girls that were supposed to working and attending to the other girls with their prom dresses. I started to notice them giving my daughter dirty looks and even snickering every time she came out and she showed me her dresses. Now I can't confirm exactly what they were doing but it was pretty obvious they were making fun of my daughter and talking about her. I had never brought it to anyones attention or confront the group of girls because I didn't want to cause a scene or make it to where my daughter couldn't try on prom dresses at all. All I can say is that for this business or any business for that matter if you hire minors please make sure they know how to treat their customers with respect and to act mature. And as for the group of girls I hope they learn better morals and know how to treat their fellow peers with kindness. First, BE CAUTIOUS of the 5 star reviews. This shop bribes you with an accessories credit if you review their services on a wedding website. I'd give them negative stars if I could. Second, this shop is a disgrace to the bridal industry. My initial appointment was fantastic. But between the time that I initially ordered the dress and the time that I went to have it fitted for alterations, I probably spoke to someone on the phone at this shop between 5-7 times. Each time, I explained my situation: I would be leaving Pittsburgh in early-mid May and I would like to have my consultant or another consultant present at my fitting with the seamstress. I was assured that this would not be a problem and that someone would call me as soon as the dress and the accessories came in so that I could be fitted as soon as possible. No one ever notified me. And by the end of April I called to find out that the shop had "forgotten" to ring me up to tell me that my dress and accessories had arrived. Nevertheless, I made arrangements for a fitting and alterations (at the same appointment) and was ASSURED SEVERAL TIMES that there would be a consultant present at that fitting. I mentioned (again) that this would be the only fitting I would be able to have since I would be leaving town and would have to swing by to pick up the dress at a later date. When my mother and I arrived at the fitting, the woman at the front desk told me that I would need to go downstairs for alterations. When I asked if a consultant was available (as I had been assured!) I was told rudely and flatly that, "Everyone here is busy. The seamstress will be downstairs to help you." After I explained that I was told that a consultant would be there, she repeated herself (again, in an extremely rude tone). I then asked, "Is there not someone available to help for 5 minutes?" Her answer? "Nope. There isn't." It isn't a lot to ask to have someone look at a dress for five minutes. Especially one that costs as much as a wedding gown. What followed could have been avoided entirely. I walked downstairs with my mother to find a bunch of children rolling around on the alterations floor (unattended) as well as a bunch of girls being fitted for prom gowns. I was very upset, mainly because I had been told REPEATEDLY that a consultant would be there to help AT MY APPOINTMENT and, second, because we had been treated so poorly. The bridal manager came out to ask what was wrong and we told her the situation. She was just as rude as the girl at the front desk! Moreover, I expressed that it was strange to be in the middle of a bridal fitting with prom appointments (not normal by any bride's expectations!) and we were told that, "Proms are important to girls, too." That was her response to me expressing concern about the rude attitude upstairs. When a consultant finally showed up, she was VERY sweet and apologetic and was as helpful as possible given the situation. I was angrier than I was disappointed and admittedly hysterical. My mom and I called One Enchanted Evening, explained that we would like to have the dress unaltered and (even though it was paid in full + alterations) shipped to us and I expressed the reasons. I would NOT recommend One Enchanted evening. I was sold a defective Sherri Hill dress that ripped /broke at the Prom. My daughter's breasts were almost exposed at dinner! I later found out this was last season's dress (who knows how many girls tried this on???). The Prom manager laughed at me, talked down to me and never apologized until I called her out on it. When you spend hundreds of dollars my daughter should be able to wear a dress 10 times without problems! Prom Manager said their dresses have problems all the time and I should just expect to bring it back and to pay more money and have it fixed? And that they never help customers financially with repairs, they should just assume dresses have problems??? Shouldn't be the case if you're paying HUNDREDS of dollars. Other dress shops inspect the dress prior to purchase. One Enchanted Evening obviously doesn't do this. Some teenagers just put it in a bag, I assumed it was inspected but that obviously wasn't the case. Manager is extremely unprofessional, ignorant and hung up on me. She should have apologized and at a minimum offer to have it fixed. I wish I had read reviews prior to going to this small business. (Update) In regards to owner's response: First, I am unaware of ever being offered to repair the dress. Secondly, I NEVER requested 50% that would be absurd. I mentioned that my daughter paid 50% of her own money. Finally, the dress left my daughter's body and was placed in a pink and green bag... NO ONE INSPECTED this dress. I would never recommend this place. Please keep reading! You expect a place you plan on spending thousands of dollars to be perfect, correct? You place trust and hope that they will make this painless and as least stressful as possible. HA! I bought my wedding dress from this place. My wedding dress. The event that I am referring to was Lynn speaking to my daughter the way she did saying that I was rude calling and begging your company to help my daughter in law get a final fitting appointment when she was only given one day as an option and that didn't work for her with work. When my daughter went with my daughter in law to learn the bustle Lynn kept telling my daughter her mother was rude. My daughter left a separate review on your website too. Your companies customer service is horrendous. Also 4 of the 6 bridesmaids dresses broke during the ceremony. It's sad because the dresses were 160 and the alterations cost more than the dress. I'll stick by my recommendation to warn people to not waste their money at your store. I personally will never set foot in that store again and will tell everyone I know to never shop there. First time going here. Let's just say when I walked in it was amazing so many gorgeous dresses (especially Sherri Hill) When I went to try some of the dresses on, the service was great. I would go into my dressing room and when I would come out they would just zip me up and help me determine what dress would be perfect for my unforgettable night. I would not recommend this store to my worst enemy. The entire experience was atrocious. My soon to be sister-in-law found her dress here which we were all very happy about, however, that is where the good experience ends. When measuring the bridesmaids for our dresses they purposely made us all get sizes that were too big so we would have to pay them for the alterations. The bridesmaids dress itself was $160 and they charged the girls who decided to get alterations done at their establishment $180. Which is more than the actual dress is worth! They also gave our bride a hard time when she tried to schedule a day for the final fitting. They said they were fully booked and only had an availability on a day the bride was working. My sister-in-law called my mother in tears worried sick about not having her dress in time and getting the run around from the staff about appointment availability. My mother then called the store to complain and try to help work out a time that would work for the bride since she is the number one priority! When they finally allowed us to come on a day they claimed they had no availability (the store was empty except for maybe 2 other people by the way) we were treated horribly. I was there to learn how to bustle the dress for the big day and the second we met the seamstress Lynn she asked who had called the other day to complain. I said "my mom" and she said "well your mom is rude"! I cannot even begin to explain how inappropriate and unprofessional that was! I told Lynn to drop it because I was not going to stand there and hear her insult my mother in front of me but she continued. She claimed my mother screamed at their employee on the phone and said rude things. All while I know she didn't as I was sat next to her when she called them the day before. She had me so upset that I was holding back tears as she showed me how to bustle the dress of my soon to be sister. I could not even enjoy that special moment because Lynn made me so uncomfortable! There was absolutely not reason to bring up my mother during that moment in time, or ever at all! We are customers! Bite your tongue and do your job! I never want to step foot in that place again. I am a very easy going person and usually do not give a bad review. My first complaint was they just measure you without just trying on the dress which is fine. Around that time I just recently was fitted for my wedding dress and my other girlfriends bridesmaids dresses, both at different shops and I was the same size and measurements (I tried on at both places). Now I know all dresses can be different sizes but when they measured me at the third different shop which is One Enchanted Evening I was almost 3 sizes bigger. I even questioned the lady and she said it was fine all that good stuff. So 4 months later almost 3 weeks to my cousins wedding and 1 week until my wedding after weeks of calling to see where the dresses were and getting the run around they finally come in. The next day I try on the dress and it is absolutely enormous on me. Being one hour away from there and the way they treated my cousin no way would I get my enormous dress that they measured completely wrong done there. So with my wedding being 10 days away and going straight to my honeymoon after and getting back to my cousins wedding. I have maybe a week to find a seamstress and get my dress fitted and completely finished. It really sucks that not only did the bride call your shop and two different girls from the bridal party numerous times and no one had a clue what was going on. This is one of the most unprofessional places I've ever dealt with. I have been verbally abused over the phone multiple times for inquiring about by dress 10 months after I ordered it. They made multiple changes to the dress that they were specifically told not to. The alterations were so poor that I have to take it to someone else to undo what they ruined. I can not believe the mess I am going through to try and get my deposit back. In October of 2018 I found a dress at this bridal shop. While I was at the shop Michelle had said something to me about the dress being from an older collection. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED if this dress were to get discontinued I wouldn't have any issues right and that I would get my money back, Michelle and another consultant reassured me that I would not deal with any issues and made me believe I would get my deposit back. In December I found out that the dress did in fact did get discontinued. I had called and spoke with someone at the shop and they informed me I could look for another dress ( which initially I was entertaining that idea ) until after they said it would have to be of equal or greater value to the one discontinued!! On Feb 16th my aunt and I had visited the shop in attempt to get my deposit back, I spoke with Gabby and she was extremely unprofessional, every time my aunt or I would go to say something she would roll her eyes and repeatedly say that I signed a contract. It wasn't until I told her nowhere on this contract does it explain if a dress is discontinued that I would forfeit the cost I put down on my dress. At that time she promised me she would have management or the owner call me and to date I still have not received a call. Every time I have called since Feb 16th I have been treated poorly and have dealt with attitude and sarcasm over the phone.( like the over - use of again. " I will let her know again that you called and again I will tell the owner to follow up") They are now telling me unfortunately the owner is going through personal issues, which I send my condolences for but she still has a business to run and it has been seven business days with any other company they would have called. Not only that but the fact that they are holding money that is rightfully mine with no item that I am purchasing from them is outrageous. They also had a binding agreement and did not hold their end of the deal up - they are unable to produce the dress for me and I should not have to jump through hoops of fire to get back what is rightfully mine. My personal recommendation would be to avoid going to this shop at all cost, however if you decide to go here and find a dress ( and not pay in full ) do not sign the agreement until they put in writing that they will give you your funds back if it is discontinued. The dress buying experience is suppose to be a fun time in the wedding planning process, but they have managed to turn it into my own personal hell. Update : On Feb 27th I received a missed call from Michelle ( who was in fact one of the only nice people at the shop I've dealt with) she informed me that the owner was willing to order the discontinued dress and I would just need my 60 percent of the deposit and they would order it. When I called back I spoke with a new worker and informed her that I was not going to do that, if the dress was discontinued that would mean they got it at the fraction of the price, and more then likely it would have been a sample so it could possibly have wear issues. Not to mention at this point due to the experience I have already had with them I was not willing to give them one more dime and that I would be willing to get something from the shop worth the money I had already put down. Michelle thankfully called me back today and informed me that I could get a veil with that cost - I verified with her that I may want other accessories not a veil and finally we came to some sort of resolution. My views still stand on One Enchanting Evening I do not think purchasing a dress is worth the hassle but I do have to give them credit for having an employee so kind as Michelle and I believe OEE does not deserve her because the professionalism she has certainly does not align with their lack of. Hopefully the remaining portion of the process I have to deal with them isn't as horrible as it has been thus far. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL AND DECIEVING. I was recently just at a dress shopping appointment here with my soon to be sister in-law (the bride to be). It was her very first time going into a dress shop and going through the whole experience. She tried on a few dresses and found one she really liked. After she said she loved it, the consultant said she had to put 60% down. She was never informed this at anytime prior. When she clearly expressed that she could not pay this, the consultant proceeded to hover over us and say well you want to purchase it now because it won't be done by August if you don't as well as made the comment to us that Chinese people don't work in January. The bride clearly felt uncomfortable at this point and the consultant was not giving her space or suggestions to think it over, just more pressing about purchasing it that day! So after feeling bullied and pressured into the dress, she asked if she could make a payment to hold the dress. They told her to give them as much money as she had. She never once said to take time and think it over or to make a another appointment. She was pressured, Ill informed, and taken advantage of being new to the dress shopping experience. They responded to my last review with lies of how the event happened, rather than addressing the problem. They also insist that she pays for the whole dress, that she clearly has expressed she does not want after being treated so poorly. A dress was purchased and altered there. It was for a homecoming dance. They neglected to remove the security tag attached to the dress and wasn't noticed until the dress was put on 5 minutes before leaving for the dance. The dress was obviously handled enough by their staff to notice this. It had to be cut off of the dress so it could be worn. Needless to say, she had to wear the dress with a hole in it. When I called the store I was told,"all you needed was a strong magnet to get it off". Who has a "strong magnet" on hand or even knows that's what will take it off. I am beyond satisfied with the selection and the girls on the floor helping with trying on dresses. Those ladies were nice and helpful. However, there was one woman who was extremely rude and stuck up for no apparent reason. I had never been to this store before and she did not assist in anyway. After filling out a short form she took it from me and said NOTHING after. We just walked off to start looking on our own. A nice lady found us and helped from there. The same woman later scolded me for helping my daughter carry her dresses to her fitting room. I don't care if you need to approach me and let me know I couldn't be in that area, but I am certain you do not talk to a customer in such a manner. Especially considering the price I was looking to spend. EXTREMELY inappropriate to speak to anyone that way. When we finally found a dress, we were taken back by the red price indicating it was way cheaper than my expectations. We were checking out, another super nice woman assisted and and the price did not match what we had send. I mentioned this and she kindly checked the dress and found the price I had seen. The rude manager came over and said "this can't be right, something is wrong her." and how she said it made me feel like she was accusing us of forging the price! I called her out for being rude earlier and questioned if she was saying I wrote the price on the tag. She went to speak with the owner and refused to even look at me or speak to me. She returned and said the owner confirmed it was her handwriting. She still did not talk to me. I want to speak directly to the owner myself. How dare this woman treat me in such a way and act like I was pulling something. Maybe if you have a problem talking to people as a person in customer service, don't work there! Who do you think you are speaking to me that way? I apologized to all the other women there as I do not hold anything against them. My first visit went extremely well. When I received the call that my dress came in, the beading around the neckline was falling off and they were extremely loose all around my neckline. I had to leave my brand new dress there to have alterations sew all the loose gems on the dress. That should have been a red flag. I live an hour and a half away so it's not very convenient to go back and forth but they don't keep your dress there until your final fitting so I will be going back a third time. The next time my gems were still loose, the excuse was they could only put two stitches on the gem. I was extremely disappointed because I just was not happy with the dress and I wish I did not chose this bridal store. Suzanne was wonderful. The rest of the staff is rude and needs training on customer service. To top it off, my dress was put in a piece of plastic like dry cleaning and when I asked for a dress bag I got a rude response of yes you can have one but it will cost you $30.00. I would not recommend to any bride, or mother of the bride if you want a true special bridal experience. You will be truly heartbroken if you shop there because there are absolutely no refunds no matter what, even if it is their error. I definitely will not be going back to have my dress altered there, that would be a complete nightmare. I don't know how they stay in business. There are so many other places that really give you a true bridal experience, unfortunately I chose the wrong place. Don't make the same mistake! read more

Although there are many beautiful gowns here, I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable. As I was looking around, there was a bride who was deciding on a gown and all the trimmings. The owner comes out of the back and begins to yell at the bride for taking up so much time?! She told her to make a decision to purchase the gown or take it off and leave. The bride was SO embarrassed and held back tears until the woman continued to basically scold her and her mother. There were at least 8 to 10 other customers in the immediate area. It was just so incredibly uncomfortably and I've never seen any customer be treated so rudely, especially in a bridal shop. Ill never forget it and would absolutely not recommend this shop to any bride if this is how they could possibly treat any customer. read more
