I would absolutely 10000 percent recommend Netta for any and all alterations. Not only is she fantastic at what she does, she is an amazing person and so accommodating. I initially found her online when I bought my wedding dress and then lost weight before my wedding, needing the dress taken in 5-6 dress sizes. I am also very petite so she had to take a LOT of length off as well. I was completely and totally amazed at what she was able to do with my dress. I believe that we scheduled 3 visits and she took I'm the dress in on one and added straps, hemmed on another and did the bustle and fixed sequin on the third. Now, 6 months later My daughter is getting married. She lives out of state and came to Pittsburgh to get her dress. She lucked out, found her dress and took it home the same day. I called Netta while she was in town to see if we could get an appointment the next time she was in town for food tasting and Netta fit her in that same day for her first alteration appointment. Like I said, she's not only fabulous at what she does, she's a great person who isn't trying to gauge you with her prices, she's very fair and reasonable.

I have to give the highest praise to my seamstress, Netta. She was absolutely amazing. No matter how much weight I gained or lost over the course of the year, she was always comforting and never made me feel like the situation was a disaster. She explained every step of the process, was incredibly patient, and never once lost her calm, even when I was questioning her or unsure. Everyone's reviews are absolutely true. Netta was amazing, super fair in price and a dream to work with! She did a superb job on everything. I told her early on I was trying to lose a few pounds for the wedding and she scheduled my final fitting within two weeks of the wedding date so she could make any final changes if I did indeed lose a few pounds. Netta is amazing, very personable and accommodating. You're reading the review of a bride who got engaged April 1, purchased a dress that didn't arrive until May 14, and is getting married on June 18. She made time for a first and second fitting. I needed a hemming and bustle. During my second fitting, she patiently walked my mother through how to do it. I will pick up my dress the week of my wedding, and Netta will steam it for me! Like I said: amazing! She allowed me to fit my mother into my appointment as well. Her dress needed a few alterations including a hem, waistline, and neckline adjustment. I will be taking my bridesmaid dress to Netta for an October wedding, because not only is she quick and accommodating, she is very affordable! Netta is unbelievable and she wasthe true MVP of our last-minute COVID wedding. I decided to wear the dress I had opted to save for next year's celebration a month beforehand. It was too small at that point. She pulled off a miracle and let out all the seams of my dress and put it back together. It fit perfectly and it was ridiculously affordable. Go to Netta. read more

I was introduced to Netta by chance and I am so glad that I was! She truly has a gift in her craft. I had been to a few local bridal boutiques in the Pittsburgh area and they all wanted an outrageous amount of money for work on my wedding gown. Netta took the time to assess my needs for the gown and was an excellent listener. She had the gown finished within weeks of my initial fitting and charged a very reasonable fee for her services. Netta altered my bridal dress and I would definitely recommend her! I had what I thought was a fairly complex dress to alter with a lot of tulle, layers, and a horsehair hemline. However, Netta had no issues with the alterations and I was surprised that the price was so reasonable; I was honestly expecting a higher price. Then, only 2 or 3 days before the wedding, I tried my dress on and the zipper popped off. I reached out to Netta immediately, who was extremely accommodating. She told me to bring the dress back and it was fixed within hours. My only complaints are that she did not give me a quote upfront, so I did not know what I was expected to pay throughout the process. Additionally, she did not have me try the dress on there at my final pick up. However, those are both things I could have spoken up about. Netta amazing. I reached out to her after reading online reviews and I'm so glad I did. My daughter purchased a wedding dress from Kosovo and I don't know if she didn't have her measurements correct or if there was a mix up between centimeters and inches, but it wasn't even close to being able to be zipped in the back. Netta removed the zipper and put in a corset lace up back. In addition she had to shorten the length. It turned out perfect! You could not tell that an alteration had been done to the dress. The price for the alternations was very reasonable. I highly recommend her. read more
