Guy was VERY helpful and patient while I attempted to explain what was going on with my septic and problems we've had with past companies. He got his guys out within 24 hours of my call and stayed in contact with us to keep us updated on their arrival. The first time we contacted One Call Aaron was sent over to give us a quote and he knew EXACTLY what he was talking about. Not only was he an expert but he was very kind, he took the time to explain what was going on and help us fully understand how the system worked. I also really appreciated Aaron because you could tell he was trying to fix the problem with out charging us an arm and a leg. The next person sent out was Tyler to clear out our tank. He also did an amazing job. Tyler was kind and extremely careful about our landscaping. He knew we had children so he went out of his way to make sure everything was clean and secure for the kids. You'd be surprised how many companies did not think of the safety of our kids in the past. One Call is a GREAT company. Not only do they do a great job and are kind but they genuinely care about their customers. Our septic tank needed to be emptied as it had been many many years since it was last done. It had been so long, that we didn't even know we had a septic tank. Besides emptying the tank, they had 2 guys and a tractor here for about 2 hours. They had to remove a lot of dirt just to get down to the tank lid. The total repair costs less money than what most plumbers charge for doing half as much work. Even though there was more work, they came in below the original estimate. They cleaned up the entire place when they were finished and I would highly recommend them. read more

Loved that they showed up in a masks and arrived within 1.5 hrs of my call. They was totally polite and clear with his explanations. Very professional and prompt. Called One Call Plumbing in Mesa, AZ to replace a leaking water heater. Was quoted $1250 parts and labor to install a Bradford-White 50gal gas heater(one of the lowest rated brands available) and was promised service the next day. Price was exceedingly high and the quality not what I really wanted but agreed to it due the fast installation time. Service guy showed up when scheduled and immediately said he was going to charge an extra $240 to move the water softener(an effort that required the removal of 2 plastic spring clips and a move of 6 inches.) This discussion led to his being asked to leave the premises. In the end though I am thankful for this bait and switch tactic, because the next reputable plumbing company I called supplied and installed a better quality water heater for $839 and charged no extra for the 5 minute job of moving the water softener. read more

About a year ago we had One Call Plumbing replace the flange on our upstairs toilet, because it was leaking into the ceiling of our downstairs bathroom. Well I noticed the leak came back and we called a different plumber this time. This plumber reported that it was the same issue and that One Call put in a cheap flange on when they replaced it. This time we also have mold in our floor/ceiling and have to have a restoration company replace that as well and clean up the mold. The plumbing alone this time around will be around $1500 and hopefully the insurance covers the restoration. We wouldn't be having this headache if One Call would have fixed it properly in the first place and didn't use cheap parts. We had One Call replace our kitchen faucet as well a while back and that is now not in full working capacity as well (it doesn't turn to cold water). One Call is not very personable from my experience or up front about everything. The plumber we called this time stops at every additional charge and explains what is wrong, what he needs to do, and what the charge will be. The price he gives us is exactly what he told us it would be and there are no hidden fees. One Call didn't do that. I would never use One Call again. read more

My husband hit the gas line to the pool filter with a pick.(if there was a place to review husbands on here, I'd be giving him one star right about now).... we needed a plumber who could fix this. After reading reviews, and calling several plumbers, One Call was the only one who could help us. I'm not going to lie, I was very distrusting. I put plumbers in the same category as attorneys... pricey and not so trustworthy (my apologies to any attorney reading this). Man, was I wrong. The man who came out to fix the gas line, Gary, was great ...professional, friendly. He explained the repair to us, price-wise, and walked us through every charge on the bill when the job was done. Recently our air conditioner stopped working, and we called this company. They sent out a technician who spent about an hour and a half on the roof. When he finally came down, he informed me that the compressor was not working and that we would have to get a new one. They quoted us a price of around $3,000. We called another company to get a second quote and they told us that the unit wasn't working because it was unplugged up on the roof. Granted, our a/c unit is old, and we will most likely need a new compressor (or entire unit) soon, but we will not be buying it from this dishonest company. read more

I am disgusted with the service provided. I placed a late night call xmas eve for a broken water line that runs to my toilet. I called the company and the service man explained that it was going to be a $129 call and cost of whatever parts he had to use. He got to the site and found that there wasn't enough pipe left above floor to connect more pvc so he asked if I had a way to get under the house. I have a mobile home so I showed him where. We both crawled about 45ft to the pipe and we came back out and he got the 2ft piece of pipe and the fitting needed to repair it and was back out within 15 minutes. He had me turn on the water (without the shut off valve connected....which was the issue he was there to fix) and flooded my bathroom and hallways brand new flooring, soaked the walls, cabinets my brand new carpet in the bedrooms and left me spending 25 minutes with my clean towels to clean it up myself. When he finished about an hour and a half later he added $489 to the bill and explained it was for having to crawl under the house (which i crawled with him). I never got informed of that charge until he was done and writing the invoice. The crawl access door was left open all night for my little dogs to jump in and the supply line to the toilet is still seeping. Most of the parts looked used and not correct for the job. It all looked rigged. Do not use this company unless you want to get charged hidden fees that are not explained or agreed upon until finished. What a joke. One call service will definitely only get one call from me. Thanks a lot. On the positive side. I just got a call from the plumbing manager stating that he would remove the unexpected charge for crawling under the house and charge for the $129 service call and retail price on the few parts only.
