For me personally, I wasn't the fan. I was actually looking for bubble tea and this is what popped up on the maps that was near me. The guy behind the counter wasn't helpful. They expect you to order from the kiosk which means you have to use card, and the guy kept going back into the back. He was nice at least. I got the honeydew milk tea, it didn't taste like honeydew at all, and the tapioca/boba pearls were too chewy. A-ok Not quite what I was looking for, but tasty sweetness nonetheless. 3* Croffles: Interesting concept, but perhaps due to the fact that it was trying to be waffle and a croissant, it lost the lightness of a croissant/waffle. It was quite thick, heavy and dense. The sweetness was good, all the topping options are really fun, but the base isn't my favorite, just too heavy for me. 3* Cake: Kinda like Asian bakery cakes, where the sponge is pretty light (though theirs is a bit denser than expected) but the icing is even lightly (almost like light whipped cream). A fine cake for the type, but not the lightest or my fav. 3* Portuguese egg tart Only tried this once and it was fine, but definitely not memorable. Loved everything about One Bite Cafe. They serve a variety of pastries, small bites, and drinks. The interior is spacious and beautifully decorated. There's a single gender-neutral bathroom that is well maintained. Guest Wi-Fi is available. It was not too busy on a weekday lunch time, so I can imagine it being a lovely study spot. Croffles are baked to perfection with an airy and lightly crisp texture, similar to a croissant. The black sesame and matcha cream toppings were delicious! The mango matcha latte featuring ceremonial matcha was also delicious and perfectly balanced. The customer service is excellent. All the dishes were ready very quickly after ordering. The cream was fluffy and not overly sweet. Dalgona Latté - This was good, but probably our least favorite. The coffee they use was a bit too bitter for my taste. Strawberry Matcha Latté - One of the best I've had. They make their own strawberry mix and the matcha tasted high quality. Would definitely order this again! Onigiri - These are the best onigiri I've had in the Seattle area and I would happily order them again! The rice was still warm and the fillings were pretty generous. They're a tad on the expensive side though (~$5/per). That being said, I'll still get them when I'm craving one because they were so so so good. Basque cheesecake - Very good! We've been craving this since we had some in Japan. Love that it isn't overwhelmingly thick or sweet. Just melts right in your mouth! This is a super cute super trendy shop. They serve croffles, or crossant waffles, a sticky sweet crossant batter type waffle topped with sweet or savory contents and served cold. I got a sandwich croffle and the bf got a strawberry waffle. Both were delicious, though the texture of the waffle is very tight and sticky and theyre served on light plastic plate and tray so they're kind of tricky to cut into. Further, I'm not sure how they made them on a waffle iron if they were served cold, so I suppose they make the waffles in advance and just prepare the toppings etc fresh? Very interesting. The croffle was crispy, sweet, flavorful, and savory all at the same time! It's rare to get black sesame desserts where you can actually taste strong sesame flavors. But the sweetness of the waffle didn't overpower the sesame taste. ~$10 I got the frappe and it wasn't too strong in coffee but was more on the lighter side. I am living for the strawberry croffle! We tried the matcha boba tea, watermelon smoothie, halloween cookie, basque cheesecake, and all the other flavors of croffle and found the winner to be the strawberry croffle. One week we came almost every day and got a croffle to go. I wish the boba was made fresh every day and that would make them my go to boba tea place too. They want you to order the croffle ahead of time and don't like call in orders. This is run by two Korean brothers who are very friendly. The cafe is cute and I like the BTS decorations in the front as well as the rotating picture bench. We ordered croffles that were very tough to the point where we couldn't cut them with a knife, and the sugar coating on the outside, which should have been crispy, was sticky and moist. When we complained to the person working at the counter that it didn't taste like the ones we had before, instead of apologizing, he gave us a ridiculous excuse, saying, "During busy times, we make them right away and serve them warm, but on a slow day like today, they can cool down enough to affect the taste.'" We are not foolish enough to be unable to distinguish between something that has cooled down and something that is old, and it is unacceptable for them to serve old food even during non-busy times.
