The modern, chic decor sets a wonderful ambiance, and the service was immediate and welcoming. The food was spectacular from start to finish. We started with fresh, warm bread, followed by a flavorful seafood gumbo loaded with meat, and a generous portion of two lightly breaded crab cakes. For our mains, the 10oz ribeye and 8oz tenderloin were seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection--compliments to the chef! They came with a lovely side of baby potatoes and vegetables. We capped off a perfect meal with a warm pecan tart and ice cream. I highly recommend coming here. We noticed they have a pizza oven and plan to add pizza to the menu soon; we already can't wait for our next visit to try it out! Ps parking wise, the restaurant is just off a residential neighborhood and parking is free. No need to pay for any parking, just remember to read signs.

There are specials that change weekly. The interior is decorated with New Orleans memorabilia, medium lit, cozy (not large), with jazz music in the background. Service was attentive and friendly. They operated for 30 years at their old location. This location soft-opened on 2026-02-12. We came on 2026-02-25 for dinner. There were still some furnishings to complete (there were unforeseen delays). They kept the same menu offerings but it will be expanded within a month. We ordered the following: 1. Citra Terre D'Abruzzo Pinot Grigio - Italy (glass $14.95). 2. Coke. 3. Crab Cakes ($19.95). 4. New Orleans Shrimp Cocktail ($19.95). 5. Jambalaya Aranchini (weekly special). 6. Blackened Lamb Chops (weekly special). 7. New Orleans Fisherman's Plate ($39.95). 8. Pecan Pie warmed with Ice Cream ($14.95). 9. Bananas Foster ($14.95). 10. Beignet ($14.95). Every dish had an excellent presentation. We spent a lot of time taking photos and videos. What did you expect from me?! We loved all the dishes! The portions were large! There are more staff than in the previous location, allowing the service to be excellent. They tend to have many loyal and returning customers. Every table starts with freshly baked bread and butter. The bread was so fresh! The three appetizers tasted good. They each had a little kick due to creole cuisine. I loved the shrimp the most. The Blackened Lamb Chops was perfectly cooked. Each of the four pieces were very tender, accompanied by a delicious sauce. The dish had some very nicely cooked seasonal vegetables: roasted potatoes, a red pepper, string beans, a broccoli, and a carrot. This dish will be put into their regular menu in the near future. The New Orleans Fisherman's Plate is great if you want a little sampling of their seafood: Blackened Fish, Cajun Calamari, and Coconut Beer Shrimp. It also comes with rice and seasonal vegetables. The fish was so good! We brought some home for my mom and she really loved it. The Coconut Beer Shrimp was on top of a Orange Marmalade Sauce, which is really liked. The three desserts looked really good and tasted good. I loved the pecan pie the most. They can split dishes in half in the kitchen and serve them on two dishes for two people to share. The restaurant uses fresh seasonal ingredients and spices to create authentic Creole and Cajun tastes. Everything is made in-house except for bread and butter. In the near future, their bread will be made in-house too. Currently, there is only indoor dining but they are looking into the possibility of sidewalk outdoor dining. Mike Djurdjevic runs the front of the house while his wife, Mira Djurdjevic, operates the kitchen. Their son, Marko, also helps in the front of the house. There is a large pizza oven at the back of the restaurant. They will be introducing creole pizza in the near future. There is a separate large room for events, parties, etc. This room will be ready in the near future. They also do catering. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible, and one female washroom. Thrre is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-037

You go girls I love it. Came here for dinner and had a hard time choosing what to order as there are so many good options on the menu. Really wanted the calamari & shrimp appetizer but opted in for the shrimp bucket and the fish and chips. I also got a coconut mango drink which was super refreshing and delicious. I thought the fish tacos had a kick of spice added but they were still good. The fries were crispy, which I loved but the highlight for me has to be the shrimp. I loveeeeed the sea salt sauce. Though I usually don't like corn, I loved this one and enjoyed the meal. Would come back here for more for sure!

I love the decor! Very open, spacious, dark in a nice way, with a gorgeous sign at the back center wall. Staff are friendly and quick to check on you. The food was ok! I wouldn't say it was my favorite, and I wasn't quite blown away with anything. I would come back for certain things though. Starting off with the salad, the dressing had a texture and taste that I can only tell you was not made fresh in house. It had that sort of translucent quality to it that reminds me of bottled sauce. Portion was good, but I wish they would toss it for you. The bowl is full of salad and they drizzle the dressing on top. It's a thick dressing that's pretty hard to toss in the bowl. It's a minor thing but honestly would be a much better dining experience. Also if they just made their own ceasar dressing. The seafood boil was also meh. I got half pound mussels with Cajun sauce. It comes on a platter with rice, potatoes and corn. I felt that it would be nice if you could pick your own sides, like at other seafood boils. The potatoes had no flavor inside them and the corn was really starchy and rough, with no corn flavor. It was a bit off putting. The sauce was ok, but I think they use too much seasoning powder, or over cooked the garlic because it was leaving a bitter flavor behind. I didn't love it by the third bite. The fish and chips were probably the best of what we ordered. It's the Costco fries texture which I love!!! Plus the fish is cooked well. The batter is very light and crispy. Total perfection! So yeh!! I would highly recommend the fish and chips, but I would probably skip the boil here.

While their primary focus is very much still lobster, they have added steak as a staple for their restaurants. They now offer aged Canadian beef steak along with their lobster. We ordered their set menu that included: Black chicken steamed soup - Very delicious Chinese style soup, very light but packed with flavours - 9/10 Fried Garlic soy lobster with fries - very tasty fries and the lobster had lots of meat - 8/10 Garlic stir fried lobster - Similar in flavour with the previous lobster dish but not has flavorful - 7/10 Steamed fish - simply and tasty! 7/10 Stir friend lobster with Veggies - the veggies were the highlight for this dish since the lobster (while still delicious) tasted very similarly to the Garlic stir fried lobster) - 7/10 Aged top Sirloin steak - steak was really really tasty, high quality meat, my only gripe was that I wish the serving was larger since this is meant as a family style serving - 8.5/10 Lamb Rack - also very tasty but was fairly small (we received this item as a promotional offer, this isn't normally included in the set meal) 7/10 Overall really good, the restaurant was extremely busy. I'd say almost too busy and not enough staff because I can tell every server was completely swamped. However the staff were still incredibly polite and helpful. I would recommend this place, especially if you have a birthday or friends/family visiting, it's worth getting the lobster and experiencing it. Just keep in mind that you're definitely paying decent price for what you get. Our dinner was $500 after tax and tips. (Note: the month of September had an offer where if your party had anyone over 65 years, you'd get 15% off. So our price would've been roughly $575 without that promo)

The whole showing of the lobsters & crab before they cook it, tower of HK style fried lobster, and lots of accompanying Chinese dishes can be a crowd pleaser. Personally for me- there wasn't a lot of pay off of crab meat after wrestling at its shell. The lobster was good but the flavour was disguised from all the deep friedness & oil. Apparently the bed of fries used to be a higher quality side in the past too.

Shishito peppers had a nice bite, mushrooms were a tad salty. - Swinton Burger: It was ok, pretty standard burger. Patty had a nice pink tonight, though was a bit overcooked on the outside. Good amount of chunky fries. - Sticky Toffee Pudding: The definition of indulgence, as the pudding is drowning in a lake of sauce. - Sunshine Express: Refreshing cocktail. Absolute standout service that's welcoming and helpful. Kitchen is a bit slow, though likely due to the amount of guests they get. Prices are on the higher end. Vibe is elevated casual. Staff were really nice and they made a great recommendation with adding the carrots as a side. If i had to recommend a unique side it would be the carrots! It was so flavourful- we were all amazed by them. We had to order a steak and they really can cook these well. You can see where they fire them up on the grill. We ordered everything to share - Steak, pasta( i can't remember which one), carrots, fries, chop house potatoes, lamb chops and sticky toffee pudding. Everything we ordered and ate was absolutely delicious and I would definitely be back to enjoy another meal here! The vibe is cool in there, a good option if you're looking for a fancier dinner in the area.
