Dante is not professional. He had his team show up to get rid of bees that he assured me would not come back in same space. He never inspected the entire home to make sure all bee entry was covered. Charged us again and when I was to pay him he insisted on having us pay home with Zelle vs. accepting credit card like he did previously. He attempted to say that we had racoon in attic based on what he thought he saw in attic. Healso was very pushy and pleased that we not report him. Dante and Robert were extremely helpful and were able to identify the bees or rather bald head hornets immediately. They suited up and prepared to remove the nest with no issues in front of them. The crew that showed up on 9/14/2023 & was unable to communicate conversantly with my husband regarding squirrel removal EXCEPT to offer a cheaper rate than the owner's quote of $425. Otherwise they didn't speak English! They also offered to have the fee deposited into "Jose" individual bank account. No invoice was provided. I called On The Go Services in a panic after I say my cat chasing a mouse in my bedroom. Dante came within 20 minutes and found a potential point of entry, sealed it, set two kinds of traps and assured me that the mouse would be dead in a few hours. He even stayed in the room with me while I quickly gathered clothes to move into a different part of the house. Dante was professional and compassionate. The next day, I had someone check and the mouse was dead. When I called to follow up, he assured me of the safety in returning to my sacred space - my bedroom. I highly recommend him. I called OnTheGo in a panic about the "live animal noises" i could hear, inside the ceiling, from my kitchen. Dante was very responsive and even volunteered to come out at that time. However, I was calm enough to hold off until daylight hours. Dante and crew showed up the next morning as promised, analyzed the situation (entry point for an apparent squirrel not a raccoon) and figured out the best was to close off the entry point. I am very saddened and disappointed with Dante's unprofessional behavior. He promised to return to spray my home for a 2nd treatment and never returned. I have decided to sue him in COURT to retrieve the funds that I paid for his half job. He claims that he would warranty his service for a 90-day period but yet refused to complete the agreed upon contractual agreement. He made 4 scheduled /promised appointments to return to my home to complete the treatments. He refused to come when I called to see if he were en route to my home. He sounded as though he was under the influence of drugs or simply not mentally coherent when I put him on speakerphone with a witness. We both concluded that Dante was not all ok in the head. I called On The Go for an unidentified animal in the attic. He came in, said it was squirrels and I had mice in the attic. He threw some dcon-type product down to kill the mice. He set a trap for the squirrels and called his handyman to also plug the hole. The handyman came out and plugged the hole. However, there is still something in my attic. I called this company out again, we scheduled and for 2 Saturdays he never called and never showed. We then rescheduled for another day, I took off from work but again, no call, no show. It saddens me to do negative reviews but for someone to have a blatant disregard for their customer is unacceptable. read more

It's the second time that I used their pest control services. Their service is excellent, roaches and mice are gone after one or two visits. However, there's a few things you need to know before you call them for a service. He promised three visits, but he just disappeared after the first service. Not responsive to phone calls and text message. And he came back after a month and told me he had family emergency, and performed the second service after a month. I understand things happen to you randomly. But it's been the second time like this (the first time was a year ago when I had mice problems at home). He did come back, after a month, and performed the second service. And the pest problems are gone. I think it's good service in general. read more

Perhaps my first experience was a (positive) anomaly, but after reading other reviews on here, I'm definitely, and unfortunately, seeing a pattern. We paid Dante $225 to come out again this year to spray for carpenter bees, and while the first appointment was fine, it was only fine. This time he brought an additional employee with him who was clearly in training, and when I repeatedly told Dante that the bees were always buzzing around the roof, he insisted that they were actually only nesting under the roof, and this did not have his employee spray the top of the roof. He also said he would spray the front door on his way out, which he did not do. Well, sure enough, a few days later the bees were back, hovering over the roof and burrowing into the front door. After probably a dozen phone calls trying to reach him (if you're a business, why are your messages constantly full? Do you not want people to reach you?), I finally got ahold of him. We scheduled an appointment for today to spray again, which he said he would confirm yesterday. He didn't confirm until my 5th call to him today, when he pushed the appointment back 1.5 hours. Sure enough, he never showed up, even after I called and texted. I can no longer recommend this business. read more

He identified the source of the problem that I called him for and also addressed another issue he saw while inspecting the house all for the price he quoted me on the phone. Please, please do not use this company. For your own sanity and stress levels! I requested a Yelp quote from another company and Dante called me within 5 minutes. (Not sure what Yelp process gave him my number.) I decided to give him a chance and he came to treat my tenant's condo for mice the next day. I paid him $325 for that plus a follow-up that was supposed to take place in a week. He promised to close up all holes behind appliances. He never came back for the follow-up. He did not answer my calls or texts. He only answered when I called from a new number. Then he would never answer calls from that number again. Moreover, his initial treatment did not work. My tenant is still complaining about mice. I could go into more drama about trying to track him down and finally getting a call from a "colleague" (euphemism) who promised to meet us and then didn't show, but at this point I just want to forget that Dante and his horrible business ever happened to my family. Oh, and I have searched and have not been able to find that he is a licensed business or pest control operator in the District. read more

This guy Dante showed up to treat mouse issue in our house. He noticed ants and spiders. He was quick to ask for 350$ to solve all the problems, but did not have an invoice on him??!!! We paid him, but I requested invoice to be emailed to me. Never happened. The mice problem happened again within 24 hrs. I called him and left two VMs. He never called back. There is a pattern in our experience with him and what I see in the previous reviews. He comes in only first time, charge lots of money for 3o min visit, and never returns your additional calls. I contacted On the Go Services to simply remove a bird nest, disinfect the area to prevent them from returning and as an extra measure close off access points to prevent the birds from returning. Long story short the birds returned within a week, I've contacted Dante via phone, email and text since June - it's October. He has yet to return to reinforce his mediocre effort of bird removal. When he did respond or answer the phone it was always the same - I'll be there today, I'll be there tomorrow, experiencing issues with the vehicle or I haven't forgot about you. After 4 months, multiple efforts to communicate and finally to call the business only to discover the number was reassigned to an individual being bombarded with calls. Unfortunately, in an effort to support and provide Dante (On the Go Services) an opportunity to return, I missed the deadline to reverse the payment. If you desire to avoid customer service headaches and stress, you may want avoid his services. read more

So, it turns out I actually did have bed bugs... In retrospect Dante didn't do a very thorough inspection of the bed. While I still had a great experience with him, if you suspect bed bugs I would suggest calling a professional service with proper detection methods. read more

I was connected with this group after reaching out for quotes to deal with a flea problem in my backyard. Dante was very responsive up front, and I thought everything was going to go well. The morning of the service, Dante reached out to confirm the address, and provided me with an estimated time of arrival, which he was within 5 minutes of. Again, so far so good. When he and another gentleman arrived, I went over the problems we were experiencing (our dogs kept bringing fleas inside), and walked him around the side of my townhouse and opened the gate. He and his associate worked for several minutes, and it appeared as though they did a very thorough job. I was provided with a bill for $325 (keep in mind the entire lot is less than 3K sq ft, and a good portion of this is the building) for this service. This seemed substantially higher than what I expected, but I didn't negotiate on the front end, so that was my fault. What happened next was remarkable. I paid the bill and we parted ways. I then waited a little over an hour before letting our dogs outside, which was the recommended wait time Dante had given me earlier that week. After about 10 minutes and not hearing from the dogs, I went outside to check and learned that Dante had left my gate wide open. Now I had to leave my 2 year old son and my pregnant wife while I hit the road driving all over looking for 2 King Charles Cavalier Spaniels that were out on the loose. My wife calls Dante to express her frustration and he responds with first a lie, "The gate was open when I arrived" and second with "Well it's not my fault your dogs don't stay," ending with "Well what do you want me to do about it?" Dante then called me to express his frustration with this experience, which made this whole scenario even more unbelievable. Not only does he overcharge for a very basic service, then he leaves a gate wide open in the middle of downtown, allowing for two dogs to escape, then lies about it, then denies any responsibility, then gets upset for being called to task. All that to say, if you have loved ones, whether pet or human, seriously reconsider before employing this group. P.S. Fortunately a Good Samaritan found our dogs about 3/4 of a mile down the road and called us. read more

Issue #1 they are late for every appointment, not a little late, hours late, which brings up the second issue, 90% of the time you call you get a message saying techs are working and brings up voice mail which is always full so you can't leave a message, you have to chain call until someone answers, when you finally get someone on the line they don't answer professionally, they say yea or unhuh, when you ask if they are still coming & what time, they give you another time, which they don't make. Initial treatment did not work, they never showed up for next treatment ( I had to leave after waiting 4 hour). I refuse to chase after them to complete the service I paid for (mice problem) dealing with it by myself again. read more

I'm seeing a lot of 1's and 5's here, so I thought I'd write a more moderated review. While Dante came out SAME DAY (Saturday) to spray for carpenter bees, he didn't really complete the job for various reasons. I called back that afternoon and said as much. He said he'd come back out the following morning (Sunday) -- which turned out to be rainy, and it looked like maybe I just needed to wait longer for the residual poison to take effect, so I told him not to bother, and that I'd call later if necessary. This morning (Wednesday) he arrived at my doorstep, unasked, with an extra employee, who finished the job. I hope this is it, as they certainly sprayed enough poison to soak the holes -- all of those that I could see. I'll need to get someone in to repair the carpenter bee damage, and quickly (as the holes are extensive, and the bees will come back to use them), but I do believe the bees are gone. So...while he had to use my ladder and probably used more poison than absolutely necessary, I've got to hand it to Dante in the customer service department. He's really working at it, and he doesn't try to sell extra services. Insects of any variety can be pretty hard to eliminate, especially if they are well established. All-in-all I'm fairly satisfied with this company. read more

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this company!! I live in a new subdivision, where construction is constant due to the building of new homes. I called On The Go Pest Control in a panic, after my neighbors to the right and left of me complained of having mice in their homes and garages. Dante was able to come out the same day that I called! Although my neighbors complained of mice, I never actually saw any in my home, but did see droppings (which Dante confirmed when he arrived). Once he arrived, Dante explained why there were mice and searched my entire home for holes and potential entry ways. He sealed the holes and treated my entire home for pests. I haven't seen any droppings or sign of pests in my home since the company treated my home...and I have been looking! He also explained to me that he found evidence of mice in my garage so he treated the garage and put down traps....I did find one dead mouse in my garage a few weeks later (next to the garage door where it entered so apparently it died immediately upon entering my garage ), but immediately called On The Go Pest Control and they quickly came out, as well as, put down more traps in the garage! I highly recommend this company and will be utilizing their other services, as a preventative measure. read more

Dante came to our home to help rid us of what I believed was either a groundhog or squirrel. Dante believed that mice were the problem and treated for that. He noticed that we also had ants and provided a free treatment for that issue. I mentioned to him that a hole had been identified behind a cabinet some years ago, and I didn't think that the hole had been secured properly. He got in touch with a someone who could close up the hole for us, treated our main floor, basement, and attic for mice, and as I said, treated for ants. We haven't seen another ant, and since the construction fix which he facilitated, we haven't had any signs of the wild intruder (whatever it was) in our home. read more

I requested quotes for pest control through yelp and these guys responded right away and came out within half an hour, which was great (it was at night, too). They diagnosed the problem, did an initial treatment, and said they would be back in a week to seal up any places where the pests were coming in. When the time came for that, my husband had a medical emergency and we had to cancel. A few days later we tried rescheduling and that turned into a bizarre week of trying to reach them, having them finally respond, and making appointments that they never showed up for. I tried one last time to reschedule and he actually called me back, but he seemed totally out of it, proceeded to ramble incoherently and said he told my husband he was coming that night at 7 (my husband hadn't talked to him) and then abruptly hung up (this call was at 9am on weekday, and he never showed up that night of course). So basically we paid them $225 to spread poison around our house. I could've done that myself for much less. I'll have to hire someone else at this point to finish a job we already paid these guys to do so don't bother getting scammed like we did. read more

Based on my experience, I could not give this 4 stars. I am out several hundred dollars, have spent additional money to correct the problem and still have the same issues. In addition, I have caught more rodents using the traps I've set and have had to dispose of all but one on my own. After two missed appointments and my original post, Dante came out and treated the house again, plugged (sealant provided to him by me) a hole missed the last two times despite the fact that I'd shown him on the initial visit. Both my fiance and I have called several times and texted to no avail. I understand you may have issues, but when you don't call or respond to texts, then you leave unsatisfied customers no recourse. I amended the original review hoping this issue would be resolved in a timely manner, but the situation has gone from bad to worse. If you don't respond to customers inquiries by phone or text, then you null the 90 day warranty and that's breach of contract. read more
