I first took it to a shop in Alpine, paid $300, and they claimed it was fixed... but it wouldn't even boot when I got it back. Then I shipped it to another place out of state, and they insisted it was bad RAM or a bad motherboard, also wrong. After spending way too much money on 2 different shops, Derrell diagnosed the issue in less than a day. He gave me the exact part number to order from Amazon, didn't make a dime off it, and once it arrived (shipped straight to him), he had the machine up and running exactly when he said he would. I'll definitely be using his services again whenever I need help. Couldn't be happier!

Based on its Yelp reviews, I gave TechHub Direct a call. I arranged a time to drop of the Chromebook. Within a couple of days, Anthony let me know it was ready for pickup. Turns out, after running various diagnostics, there were no apparent software or hardware problems. It was a power reboot that fixed it. The Chromebook has been running normally since I picked it up, and I've changed my charging method to be sure I don't overcharge it. TechHub Direct was professional, responsive, and reasonably priced. I plan to use them again soon to improve the performance of my desktop.

Rather than upselling me on a brand-new and pricey rebuild, Shannon cloned all of my data over from my current hard drive, put it on a new hard drive, and upgraded me to Windows 11. And through sheer determination, Shannon also fixed my reboot time -- it went from 2.5 hours down to under a minute. This was without a doubt a hugely time-consuming and frustrating process, but Shannon and his team went above and beyond to diagnose and repair it. I absolutely recommend Shannon and SD Bytes if you need a repair or an upgrade or a rebuild or something brand new. You won't find a more competent and honest team in San Diego!

Well, where do I start?!? A few months back, I won a contest put on by TCS - a maintenance &…read moreservice package for any 2 computers I own. About a week ago my laptop wouldn't let me log-in, along with a couple other problems that had been building up. So....... I brought my laptop in to TCS praying for a miracle, and that the repairs would cost less than $180..... OMG! The staff, Mr. & Mrs. Tolson along with their son Thomas, made me feel like one of the family! They listened to all the problems I was experiencing, walked me through the very short paperwork process, and gave me a fair estimate on the time it would take to fix any potential problems. Long story short - two days later I'm picking up my laptop (which is working better than before)!!! Oh, the cost you ask? Most of all the work/repairs were covered in my service package that I won! Not to brag, but I will - I walked out of TCS VERY happy with my now-working-again laptop and paid less than $60!!!!! Tip from me: if you need repair work or any other Computer/Server/Network services - CALL TCS FIRST!!! AND........ Invest in TCS's maintenance & service packages!!!! Because when something goes wrong, and it WILL, you'll have piece-of-mind knowing that you're covered! You have insurance on your car, home, health & life...... Doesn't it make sense to have some sort of plan that protects the computers/laptops/tablets that you use EVERYDAY???
