He suggested that since he had it turning over, maybe watch it for a few weeks and then let him know what I wanted to do. I agreed and asked how much since he comes to your house. His answer...nothing. The truck quickly wouldn't start consistently again, so I called him and asked home to do the job. He was there the next day, did the job and the price was under his estimate. The job is guaranteed for 12 months or 12k miles. It's amazing to see an honest, responsive and hardworking mechanic that comes to you!

I took it back in and they said it was going to cost me ANOTHER $1900 to fix the leak The mechanic said he never had seen a leak like this before. .Say what? What about the first time.? Aren't there UV dye kits to spot leaks.? Isn't this your job? Without going into specifics, I'll offer my review and recommendations. One of my vehicles had a fairly difficult issue to solve. I was completely aware that it would probably require a little trial and error to resolve. After being at Chris's for one week they returned my car and stated they replaced several expensive parts but the issue still existed. Great, thanks, I'll give someone else a chance. I scheduled an appointment at another location in hopes they'd have better luck. To my disappointment I learned that the work Chris's charged me for was never done. The mechanic from the 2nd location showed me the original parts and the abysmal workmanship that was performed. I was charged a whole lot of money for work that never occurred. Due to being a professional at his craft, the other mechanic was able to diagnose the problem and fix it to my satisfaction. I understand trying to diagnose a difficult problem but don't tell me you've exhausted all options when it was evident they were not.
